We were here only on night. We made the reservation the day before and they were able to take us. Very clean and the layout of the campground is perfect. The sites are level concrete slabs with some gravel. Some of the reviews said no laundry which is incorrect. Very nice large laundry with 5 washers and large capacity dryers. The view around the camp ground is breath taking. I walked and took photos of the area. I wish we were here longer. My only issue, and I can't really blame the lady in the office when we arrived. When I called to set this reservation up I asked about check in time, as we were coming quite a distance I said we may be there between 12 and 1....she told me no problem as there were many sites available. We had a brutal 300 mile drive and wanted to just kick back. We arrived at 12:15pm and the office was closed till 1. We had to sit for 45 minutes in the heat. Communication is essential in these parks. Also, they said out site had cable hook up. after messing for and hour we call the office and they sent someone over and they told us the last person change the system to analogue so we couldn't use it. Again for the price of this, we should have had cable hookup. Good internet service you have to pay $4.00 a day. For unsecured it's free, but not good at all. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Pictures in ad for this RV park are totally not accurate. Tall weeds opens trenches where they have dug up pipes at least four feet deep. Sewer smells and no compliance followed. Dead trees and dead grass. Staff is rude and not much work gets done such as pads not cleaned and ready for next camper. Cable is very fuzzy. If you bring up anything to staff you are told that corporate does not pay them enough. A very sad place for the money. Will not stay here or will not promote family or friends to stay here. Some child may get hurt in this park with the protruding metal posts and open trenches. We were told they were shut down on the project because they did not get a permit. This RV park does not follow any safety rules. Dog runs dirty and smell very bad. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

Park was at one time a KOA. Roads paved but narrow. No Cable. WiFi $4 per day for each computer or tablet. If traveling with kids would be great, has pool, play area etc; however, for one night passing thru cost brings the rating down for us. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

Seems as just about everyone here was long term and although only vehicles which would fit on a site were allowed it was not enforced. Next to our site was three vehicles one of which was in front of our RV. Since we were only there for one night I did manage to get them to move so I could get out in the morning. Spaces are tight and with our 35' towing it was just enough space. Trees do overlap spaces and you can't avoid branches hitting coach. Seems like most of the western RV parks we are staying in have lots of long term campers and assuming most for work. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

We spent one night here and did not have a good experience. For starters, there is no signage indicating the entrance down a long frontage road to the park. There is a small blue road dept sign of a trailer with a dump symbol and that is it. We missed it and so did our neighbors requiring a several mile detour to get back. Next, the tree branches in the entrance driveway scraped over our A/C roof units as did the tree behind the office on the main road into the park. This is unacceptable for a park that advertises big rig friendly. My final complaint is the length of the pull thrus. We have a 43 ft class A with a short suv tow car-had to jockey back and forth to make sure we cleared the roads in front and behind us-very tight fit. We were also given a site at check in that was occupied so that was a 15 minute fiasco to get us an empty site. On the plus side, it is a quiet park and close to several stores and restaurants. At $52.00 a night - no discounts-with all the problems we encountered it is severally overpriced. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

Convenient for us this trip, but nothing fancy. Power and cable are decent, wi-fi costs extra. Very typical city-ish park. Staff friendly on phone and in person. Plenty of asphalt and concrete to drive and park on. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

Nice park with level, paved sites and grassy yards. Close to town and Colorado National Monument. ATT and Verizon both had 4 bars. They have cable but the networks were very snowy. I had better reception with my antenna. They have wi-fi available but you have to pay for it. You can buy a basic plan for email and web searches, or a more expensive plan for streaming. Since the cell reception was good, we passed on the wi-fi. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Fifth Wheel.

50 percent long term in this old KOA. Unusual layout, sites are right up against each other on one side, glad the other RV didn't have any slide outs. Then there's grass between the next RV and us. Wife said the laundry machines were filthy and very old. They turned on the sprinklers today for 90 minutes and turned our campsite into a mud field. Came to this park intending to stay 3 to 4 weeks. I called ahead and made reservations and was told if we stayed only 3 weeks we could still get the monthly rate. When we went in to pay the manager told us if we stayed for 3 weeks we would not get a monthly rate and the total cost would be over $900! We argued, but she would not budge. This park has recently been sold. There are very dilapidated RVs parked there permanently and it appeared most of the people there were on a permanent basis. We had stayed in this park previously and it was ok. It was near our sons home, so it was an ideal location for us. Needless to say we did not remain in this park. There was also construction going on so it is very dusty. The restrooms were clean but the staff, including the manager were not a friendly or accommodating. Staff could be overheard being very vocal about their disgust with the new owners and the new policies put in place. Customer service was non existent. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

The trains rumbled by all night long. They have a nice looking pool but no one was in it and the lady at the front desk told us it wasn't warm enough to swim in. Many of the spots are very close together, vegetation is lacking and there are many permanent residents giving this place an unsavory feel. Two out of three showers were not working in the men's restroom. We would not stay here again. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay for one month. This is probably the nicest RV park in the Grand Junction area. They work hard to maintain the common areas and spaces. Some areas have small grass patches, other spaces are gravel only. 2 dog parks, a swimming pool and a nice laundry room. We requested a move to another shadier spot after a few days, and they were very accommodating. There are many full-time residents here, but everyone seems friendly. We will use this Park whenever we visit the Grand Junction Colo area! We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

We arrived in the evening, but before dark. They close the office at 5:30 PM. In the morning they don't open until 9:00 AM. We didn't spend but one night. We didn't get to use many features. We did walk around in the evening. The park seemed very nice. Most sites were pull-throughs. They had cable TV (analog) which we used. The Internet was not good; it kept dropping. The signal seemed strong enough. The park was adequate for our one night stay. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Travel Trailer.

This appears to be a re-branded KOA that was being well maintained. The sites are close together and the utility connections are just outside the distance from the slides. The park is convient to IH-70 but there was no noticeable highway noise. The wifi was free and one of the best we have found in a park. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.
