Only down side is the hiway noise. Close to Salida CO. Well manicured sites, close to the Arkansas River. - Trainut
May 2015 - $40.00
We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend. The Hosts were absolutely the best. The cleanliness of the bathrooms made a huge impression! (I clean for a living) Actually, the cleanliness of the entire park was commendable.
We can't wait to go back, and we highly recommend this RV Park.
We were close to the highway, but we weren't bothered by the noise. The area by the river is well maintained and it was a great place to sit and enjoy.
There was a church group staying at the camp at the same time, and the hosts made certain we were comfortable. We were invited to the campfire marshmallow roast Saturday night.
It was just a great stay. - Deanne Havens-Michaud

Started out with a 10 rating: Deduct 2 for road noise 24/7. Deduct 1 for limited 50 amp site availability. Deduct 1 for poor and intermittent Wi-Fi connectivity. Deduct 1 for lack of grass between sites (mostly weeds and sticker bushes). Overall very friendly host, well kept park, and views of mountains and river. Fishing very poor in river and owners require catch and release along their stretch. - endlesstravels

There's a lot of fun outdoor activities for both kids and adults alike. If you're looking for a quiet getaway this is not the place for you. The indoor pool is heated and the outdoor pool is not heated (not noted on their website). The staff in the office is very nice and helpful. Most of the RV and tent sites are in the woods. Be sure to call in your reservation to make sure you get a site big enough and accessible for your rig. By Sunday the restrooms get pretty dirty, but the staff doesn't start their major cleaning till Monday. We would stay here again. - Wandering Westhoffs

Kids had a great time. Lots to do with tons of games. Electrical and dump site could use work. - James vandykr
May 2014 - $44.00
Like other campers, we found the place to be pretty run down. That said, there are plenty of sites that are very secluded and in the trees, definitely not your parking lot type RV park. Also, if you have kids it is a great place to go--indoor and outdoor pools, putt putt, horseshoes, shuffle board, tennis, etc. Run down, yes, but we had a pretty good time nonetheless. - Impulse RV
