Great place to stay, but you will be roughing it. Not to mention the last 6 or so miles of road is a really rough gravel road. You are just a short walk from cottonwood lake or a half mile hike to lilly lake. Great place to trout fish, hike, or bike. This campground is at about 10,000 feet, not a lot of people due to the elevation, no hookups, and the roads to get there. If you want peace and quiet this is for you. We camped at Grand Mesa National Forest / Cottonwood Lake Campground) in a Travel Trailer.Undo
