We did not have a great experience. Very tight navigating the road to get to our site. Keep in mind we have a '45 coach. Our site was a pull through, no executives sites were available. Our front step was 18" high on top of wood and digging out the back tired to finally get it level. Very close to each other in a big rig. The office closes at 4:30 when the park is full?! Lot is people trying to checking in after hours. Staff running around in golf carts were very nice and tried to help.

We could not pull forward to leave due to trees, we had to back out of our pull through. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice to walk around Manitou for shopping. Manitou was nicer than old Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods is touristy, you can walk a paved path, hike into the trails or just drive the road to see the rock formations

Two bikes were stolen during the night from our locked rack. The campground is located in a rough neighborhood next to a run down trailer park. Thieves are coming over the fences and stealing at will. Management is aware there is an ongoing problem but has not adequately responded to the challenge. They refunded our camping fees but we will not be back. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

The folks that run the park are very nice, the park is big and there were a lot of big rigs there. Quiet time was observed by all. Nice playground for the kids, restrooms and showers were very clean. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Park was centrally located near Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. Near lots of attractions which was nice. A little tricky getting in and out of for a big rig with a tow, but doable. Downside about location is that it seems to be in the heart of marijuana central. Many dispensaries nearby. Can smell the weed nightly throughout the park. I am not sure if this is a campground phenomena or a Colorado issue, but it was off-putting to us. The sites were not terribly level. Neighbors sewer, water and electric run through your site as well. Sometimes downwind this smelled too. Sites were all gravel. No firepits but picnic table included. Despite the average sites, the view was spectacular. Staff was generally nice. There was one staff member that was grouchy and even asked my 17 year old daughter if she 'smoked'. Facilities were just ok. Seemed that the nicer shower house was always closed for cleaning. Bathhouses were average, but high use so I was not expecting much. WIFI was nonexistent, also not a surprise with the high numbers of users. There was a nice park and two pools for the kids. But with all the outdoor activities nearby, we did not utilize them much. There was dinner and breakfast served on various days at the campground. It looked delicious, but we never tried it out. We were too busy sightseeing. Overall, the campground's highlight is the location. Tons to do in the area. I would consider staying again, but may look elsewhere first and use this place as a fall back option. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

An RV resort this is definitely not. The spaces are mostly gravel, short, tight, and unlevel. I had to use 3 "lego" block per tire on my driver side to get my 5th wheel level. Then I had to unhook and park to the side so my neighbor could park his toad and not be in the road. It is, however, the most big rig friendly of the local parks (I checked out the other parks and they didn't have pull thrus and where even tighter). The hook-ups where all properly placed and easy to hook up too. The roads are tight but navigatable and paved. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is also 24 hour security. The dog park is well fenced and gravel. The bathrooms where clean, however I did not check out or use the showers. There is plenty of shade and the park is fairly quiet. There is good bbq served in the evening and pancake breakfast on Sunday mornings. It is a decent park that is convient to the sites, not someplace I would stay at regularly. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, crazy busy, they need to get a WiFi system that works. I would be on and then it would disconnect, it would take up to 20 minutes to reconnect. Very slow for as spread out and for as many spaces they have. I would have given it a higher score but the WiFi was poor. Staff was great, everything else worked. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Sites too close together. Sewers are next to the neighbor's picnic table.

Their dog park was ridiculous. Fenced in pebble lot.

Had a trail next door but the gate to it was broken and apparently not being fixed. Bolted shut so had to take dogs into traffic on the street to get on it.

Only good thing: it is close to tourist attractions. Disappointed. RV'ing usually better than this. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for 6 days in an Executive Pull-Thru Site. While others seem to have had a not-great experience, ours was generally good. Our site was concrete with a picnic table. Plenty of room for 40' 5'Ver and truck. Utilities were in the normal spot and all worked well. Staff in office very friendly on check in, and every time we saw them throughout the park. OK dog run. Nice public hiking/walking/biking trail right outside the gate of the park. There is a little social hall area where folks barbecue dinner 5 nights per week for about $8. They also do all-you-can-eat pancakes on Sunday mornings for $4. We saw other sites that were much smaller, both in length and width. We would definitely return, if we could be in the same type of site. Oh....we never smelled pot at any time while in and around our site. Wifi so slow it was unusable most of the time. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at GotG RV resort for two weeks in August 2016. Our site was gravel, not very level, but satisfactory. The park is larger than most in the area with larger spaces than other parks appear to have. It is not truly an RV resort as there are numerous camper types from small travel trailers to big class A rigs. Lots of seasonal campers and some short term campers. The park borders the Midland Trail which nice to walk or use for some exercise. The park is well located to lots of activities in the area. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you want to visit Colorado Springs there is a litany of things to do. Pikes Peak, the Manitou Incline, shopping in Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, hiking on numerous trails, Garden of the Gods park, Manitou cliff dwellings, Royal Gorge, are just some of the activities you can experience in the area. At the park make sure to try Howards BBQ on Wed - Sun evenings or breakfast on Sunday morning, it is delicious.

Sites are very close, and very unlevel. Never the less, we had good neighbors and so were able to make do for two days. Staff was friendly and helpful. Take bottled water. They have full hookups, but with as many people in and out as they have, there is a good possibility that the water is not too good.

We will not stay there again. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Large park with good hookups right at the very edge of the Garden of the Gods park. 2 pools. Cable TV not active at every site even though a cable connection is there and promoted on their website. WIFI is typical RV park. Many of the sites are set up nicely. But the set up on "Row N and Row M" is very difficult to understand. Nice length for big rigs with concrete patio and picnic table. View of the mountains is breath taking. Nice play area for the kids. But everyone's sewer connection, Electric & Water are right next to the next site's picnic table. Ugh. Not nice. Width of the gravel sites is close but wide enough for everyone to have slides and awnings out. Laneways are paved. Really nice large fenced in dog park. Utilities work well. But almost no AT&T Cell phone service in the whole area. Park is close to a very busy street but street noise is not noticeable most of the time. There are no activities in the park but LOTs to do outside the park. One really nice element is Lil'Howard's BBG with dinner served Wed thru Sunday night and breakfast served on Sat. & Sun Morning. Food is great and James, the owner & chef, is really nice. Really great to be out hiking, biking, sightseeing, canoeing, etc and come back with dinner already to eat. This park is right on the border of Manitou Springs which is a lovely old old town with lots of shops and wonderful cafes. There is a nice Starbucks and a nice Safeway grocery store right up the street. Can't wait to come back. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As expected, the sites are close together, but access is very good with paved roads throughout the park. The sites on D row were not at all level. I couldn't level the coach even using blocks under the jacks without raising the front wheels off the ground. The staff is very responsive and helpful. I had a problem with low voltage and it was fixed shortly after I reported it. The location is great, there are two pools, a playground and even a place to get dinners several days a week. Expect crowds, but it is quiet at night. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Close to the Cog Railroad to Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods. There is a walking/bike path running alongside the park. It's easy to miss the entrance because it's on an angle to the intersection of Colorado and Columbia.

spaces are very tight. also park rents out tent spaces in the rv area. we were surrounded by a youth church camp for 4 days. water pressure is bad. wifi might work if you used it from midnight to 4 a.m. other than that it is worthless. power grid in park is old and out of date. during a hot day they park power grid kicked off five times. just old and needs to be replaced. since colorado legalized marijuana this section of colorado has become the weed retail center. area is weed shops, tattoo parlors and cheap motels. a man was stabbed to death in a cheap motel just blocks from this rv park while we were there.. only good thing about this park is the location. close to the tourist destinations. Really small site for our motorhome. There was a large pick-up next to us that looked like it was under our slide, it was so close. No grass, few flowers, just rock in the site. We had a patio, with table. Price reflects monthly rate, including electric, which is separate. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is NOT big rig friendly for sure, and not camper friendly overall. Getting through this park into a site is nerve wracking. Your cable, which doesn't work well anyway, water, electric and sewer hose run right through your neighbor's area and you have to move their table to empty your black water! Most rigs have their wheels off the ground because the sites are so unlevel. I would stay anywhere else than here. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
