This was the second time we have stayed here in a motorhome, tow dolly, and toad. Once in 2014 and again in Oct 2015. Both stays were very nice. The people were very friendly and helpful. The sites were level and shaded and not too tightly spaced. We plan to visit GOG CG every time we come to the Springs.

WiFi was strong and available anytime, we did not use cable. CG was well tended. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Old Town Colorado, Airplane Restaurant, Seven Falls, Air Force Academy, Manitou Springs are all must see sites in the area.

The park has paved roadways and gravel sites. The premium sites are cement. The sites vary in width. Most of the sites are back-in's. Some sites are fine for big rigs but not all sites. The services are all good. The Wifi is up and down. The location is great for visiting the tourist sites around the Colorado Springs. We would camp here again. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

It really is a nice facility for exploring thus area. My only complaint is that. as with most private campfounds you are packed in like sardines. We had two small children with us and you wouldn't dare let them outside alone. The traffic, close proximity of others, and steep drainage ditch that ram through our area of the campground made it very unsafe foe small children. That said..the campground was very clean and it appeared the security was very good. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Other than convent to pikes peak etc. I found nothing great about this park. It had cable however it did not work, when I asked why I was told about 3 weeks ago it went out and they just have not repaired it yet. The water faucet was so close to the ground I had to dig a little trench so the regulator would fit. I doubt if I would stay in this park again. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects a week's stay. Easy access to and in the park with our larger sized 40'+ Big Rig RV. Good Verizon LTE service but AT&T voice and data sporadic at best. Cable available only at the expensive premium sites and little chance of satellite signal if you have a fixed dish. Friendly and helpful staff. Park was full during our stay so advance reservations recommended. Best of the private RV park options in the area. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Traffic can be difficult in Colorado Springs - Follow directions to the park that they send in in reservation email or call ahead.

Great location in Manitou Springs. Huge sign at entrance yet missed it! Easy to go around the block. Turn right on next street. It looks narrow with branch overhangs but you will be fine. BTW, GPSs have park in different locations. Be aware.

Spaces are pretty wide, concrete pad with table. They have pancake breakfast, different BBQ dinners on weekends. Most spaces have shade but ours didn't, but it was no problem. Staff helpful and friendly. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pikes Peak Cog Train 15 minutes away and a must do. Manitou Springs is very cute, lots of shops and food options. Also has natural hot springs. Visit Garden of the Gods, only 10 minutes away. Pass on the movie at Visitor Ctr. Much to do, so we have planned a return.

We stayed here as part of a group and used their meeting hall on a daily basis. The in-house caterer did our meals, and they were very tasty. The same caterer sold simple meals to the campground from a window as well. Sites are gravel/rock, and the campground did allow us to wash both our rig and our toad (both desperately needed it). Sites were well shaded, level, and spaced somewhat close (like most private campgrounds). Hookups were fine. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and in good repair. The laundry area was also very nice, and their rates were good. Great location to explore the area. You could walk/bike to the Garden of the Gods if so inclined. Access to the campground is a right hand turn off the main drag and then a VERY quick left (like 100' max) into their driveway. Be ready to make your left, and you'll be driving around the block like we did (which was no fun). We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

This review is about the Standard sites part of the park which we stayed in for 2 nights due to a short notice and full park. The back section is smaller back in sites sitting on red clay which gets into everything and is worse when wet. Site had concrete pad for picnic table...dirt for RV....go figure.
Wifi was pretty awful...bathrooms were reasonable and reasonably clean but not anything I'd brag about. Cable was only available at premium sites...just had a few over the air channels which didn't offer much variety. My first experience with a sewer hookup UNDER the coach. We left after 2 days and finding another place with room.
Now if you had booked one of the nice gravel pull through sites with 50 amps, cable and more throughput on the wifi...you might be a much happier camper...though somewhat poorer...so just take this as caution if you are thinking about a 30 amp standard site. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Of course GoG is right there and well worth your time. The highlight for us was the Pikes Peak Cog rail to the top...Stunning and worth every cent.
RESERVE in advance if you want to get on in the summer!

We stayed a month in this park with a 42 foot 5th wheel and that was a good value. However, the WiFi is very poor here and the back-in spaces are very tight. The interior roads are paved, however the sites were dirt/gravel for long stays. The good news was our site was very well shaded with trees which kept things cool most of the day. Electric is metered here but very reasonable @ $0.10/kwh. The personnel are very nice and helpful. Be aware this park was very crowded and had very high turnover daily, so vehicles are moving constantly. Based on other parks we saw in the area, this was the best looking by far. You could have a bonfire on your site as long as you had a fire pit w/wire cover so that was nice. Very nice front office with a general store. Also a lady was in the lobby to sign up folks for Jeep Tours if desired. A vendor cooked and sold fresh dinners five days a week right on site. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Garden of the Gods RV Resort is close to Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods Park and Colorado Springs with a lot of activities available in each. The towns of Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City have a homeless, hippy problem where people panhandle daily for money. There are a lot of great hiking opportunities in the Staresmore area near Helen Hunt Falls that are definitely worth doing.

This was a very nice, though very crowded and very busy, campground. The restrooms were very clean and well laid out with plenty of water pressure and hot water. There were also plenty of restrooms, which was good because of the number of campers. The sites were close together and for the most part, level. Our site required us to use leveling blocks on one side, but I didn't notice anyone else needing to do so. Thor had a nice size dog park and playground for the multitude of children. If you are looking for a quiet playground with few children, this is not your campground. We very much enjoyed it, though. Wi-Fi signal was strong and easy to connect to. However, bandwidth was way too small and we could not effectively use it. It was free, however. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were guided to our site upon arrival. There was a very nice sitting area in the main building and the laundry facilities looked excellent, even though we did not use them. There was an arcade and a pancake breakfast was an option. The campground was very convenient to Garden of the Gods and we should have planned more than one day just to visit that park, not to mention all of the other places to see on Colorado Springs. We will definitely stay here again when we return. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were in a standard site, which are extremely close together. Basically you park your tow vehicle between your trailer and your neighbor's trailer. The electric and water connections were as expected, but the sewer hookup was under the trailer, requiring me to crawl part way under the trailer to dump the tanks. Our site (and all the standard sites I noticed) were mostly dirt and in need of fresh gravel.

The park was completely full when we were there (over the 4th of July holiday weekend), and the bathrooms were not being cleaned as often as they needed to be. They were usable, but only just.

The sites were somewhat shaded, however, there were quite a few dead limbs in the trees which seemed would be a problem in a heavy wind storm.

I was never able to connect to WiFi and there was only intermittent AT&T cellular coverage (not the park's fault, but something to be aware of).

The Deluxe sites closer to the front of the park had more gravel and had a bit more room. The bathrooms and showers in the front of the park were also in better shape. If we stay at this park again, we will try to stay in one of those sites.

The staff was helpful at checkin and guiding us to our site and getting backed in.

The park is very convenient to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, Old Colorado City (good restaurants) and other area attractions. We might stay here again when in the area because of the location. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Manitou Springs is worth visiting and the Heart of Jerusalem middle eastern restaurant was exceptional. The Manitou Cliff Dwellings are interesting. Both Garden of the Gods park (make sure to walk the paved Central Garden Trails) and Pike's Peak are must-see.

Staff is friendly and helpful.
During our stay the park turned out to be a very busy and overcrowded place. Many families with (small) children, outnumbered only by the quantity of dogs, so you can definitely say the park is pet friendly. Two pools were not enough to accommodate all the swim enthusiasts.
The 'Standard' sites are fairly level but rather small. There are larger sites available (close to the road), with prices up to $60 a night. Traffic noise is very audible during the night. Speed limit in the park is apparently for guests only, not for (cleaning) staff.
Wi-Fi signal strength was fair, but the speed very slow. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit 'Paint Mines Interpretive Park'. The colors are incredible!

With the exception of a few spots, the spaces are horribly small for the price. They put us in a spot different than the one we reserved. We couldn't even park near our spot. And our hookups were on on the wrong side and in our neighbor's spot. No apologies no help...take it or leave it. Very claustrophobic feel... We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

DH and I had high hopes for this RVC resort, since we enjoyed the Hot Springs, AR, location. Unfortunately, the park was a huge disappointment. We had a 'deluxe' gravel site that backed up to a tree, with barely enough room to park our truck. The sites are very small and RVC packs everyone in like sardines. The main factor for my overall rating is how they handle personal mail. We are full-timers and use a mail service for our everyday mail. Other items, such as what we purchase online, are delivered directly to wherever we are staying. We received five parcels/envelopes during our stay; only once did we receive a phone call informing us of our mail. Our first package was opened up to the shipping label - either someone in the office began opening it, or they delivered it to the wrong person. We had been tracking one of the packages and saw that it had actually been delivered one day early - no phone call from the office. Instead, after having been at the park for more than two weeks, there was a note on the package that said, "Who is this?" Hmm, my thought is that if you receive a piece of mail, you check your reservation system to see if they are a guest. Must have been too difficult to do that. There are no stop signs in the park and lots of children. The speed limit is not followed and, from our site, we witnessed several close calls involving vehicles, rigs, and children on bikes or skateboards. One driver was texting while she was approaching the intersection and slammed on her brakes to avoid hitting a child on a bike. The best part about the park is its proximity to Garden of the Gods and downtown Manitou Springs. Other than that, a huge disappointment and we will not return. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in a 40'rv. The sites are tight. The WiFi was not good. The staff did not know a lot about the area due to being seasonal workers. We experienced a lot rain and the workers were great about clearing the dirt from the road. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great German deli/bakery. We had excellent bratwurst! Visited Manitou Springs, Gardens of the Gods.
