First off, this park is not in Colorado Springs. it is probably 10-15 miles Southwest of town. That being said, it is a really nice park out in a rural area. The entire park is crushed rock which leads to a small amount of dust. The Wi-Fi and cable TV was some of the best we've used. The staff were very accommodating. Rate was PA. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Price reflects the rate for one free night after staying seven nights. We have visited this campground previously and each time we come back improvements have been made. About half the sites have cable TV hookups at this time with the rest to be installed during the next year. Registration staff is very helpful and friendly as are all the staff. Owner is very involved with day to day operations. Sites are very spacious and level. Park is only 14 miles to nearest grocery store and Camping World is not much further. Centrally located to all the "must see" things in the Colo Springs area. Easy access for any size rig on well maintained roads. Abundant shade and wildlife are available at no extra charge! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park. This is our second visit and hopefully we will return. The ONLY reason we didn't give them a 10 was the lack of cable up on the hill and spotty Verizon service. Certainly not reason enough to keep us away. There was cable down in the main campground. The visits from wildlife were priceless and in our estimation what made it really special. The owners and staff were great. Laundry was clean and reasonable. Nice dog area. The sites are roomy and level. They don't pack you in like sardines. Just don't go there in great numbers in September as that is when we visit. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Extremely nice and friendly owner. Red gravel sites with non-existent grass. Nice wide sites with fire rings at each site along with full hookups. Voltage was adequate. Website states "clearly marked trail." No trail to be found as there was many big piles of dirt all over the place where the "trail" was supposed to be. The hot tub was VERY nice, but they drained it and cleaned it on Friday night, so it wasn't available all day/night for Friday, but we used it a lot on the weekend, and it was nice and clean. They were appologetic about the unannounced draining, and we appreciate that. The location is 18 miles from town, so bring what you need! Yes, they truck in water, so be considerate and not use too much in this arid part of Colorado. One of the better campgrounds in the Colorado Springs area, and we will be back! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A beautiful park with the largest and widest sights that we've ever seen. Deer and wild turkeys visit daily. Lots of shade. Hot tub was inviting. Verizon data and phone service not available at site, but was available at or near the office. Wi-fi at sight worked most of the time. There is also a free phone at office for your use. Laundry was inexpensive. Nice and quiet, and a friendly staff. We will stay here any time that we are in the area. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly office staff: they drove us around so we could pick out our site. Red rock gravel roads and RV sites which means no dust. Lots of evergreen trees for shade; very large sites with a picnic table & plenty of room for your tow vehicle. Clean showers/toilets; laundry with 4 washers and 4 dryers costing about $3 to wash&dry a load of clothes. They must truck in their water so the pressure is OK but not great at times. Wi-Fi was fair to good. They have a resident deer population which wandered the park at will begging handouts and head rubs. Our major complaint was the park is located 20 miles from Colorado Springs so groceries and restaurants were a long drive. We would stay here again! About a 30 minute drive south of downtown Colorado Springs, but unlike many of the RV parks here, you have a bit of breathing room between the sites, whereas some of the parks right in Colorado Springs have the rigs packed in like sardines. Full hookups, and sites were level. Bathrooms snug, but clean. Quite a few deer, including 3 young bucks, roaming the campground. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice little park about 16 miles South of Colorado Springs. Granite rock roads and sites, and it does a nice job keeping dust down. Sites were wide and long. Utilities were good. Not all sites have cable: numbers 1 through 52 do, 53 through 86 do not. It seems most come here for the season and are very friendly. We would come back if in the area. This is our 5th time to stay here. Large sites. All roads and sites have excellent (clean) coarsely crushed granite. Beautiful setting. Excellent dog walking available; also, fenced dog area available. No AT&T cellphone service, but we find that to be a plus; service is available nearby. Very good Internet service, so we rely on email and iPhone data/texting to stay in touch. Passport America rates available except on Friday and Saturday nights. Clean and very reasonably priced laundry facilities on site. Very friendly staff. Will continue to stay here whenever possible. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is outstanding!!! Clean, roads were perfect, wildlife was everywhere. We will be back next year for at least 2 weeks. The staff was outstanding, and if you want to know about Bears just ask them. It just does not get any better. This should be the standard for RV parks We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great place! Entire park is covered in pretty red gravel so very tidy. We saw a number of deer roaming through the campsites. Only drawback is that it is 18 miles from nearest store, but no worries as we just planned for it. Would stay there again anytime, just a really great place. The $20 rate is for a monthly rental and does not include an additional charge for electricity. I am hesitant to write this review for fear of not being able to find a spot the next time we want to visit. This place is what all RV Parks should be. We were parked in the best site we have ever had in a private park. Huge. No hassles. Level. Excellent hookups. The staff members were very friendly and extremely helpful. The enclosed dog park was big enough for our medium sized dogs to actually run. Lots of places to walk dogs on leashes. Our site, even with great shade, had a clear view of the southern sky so our satellite worked well. Our Verizon coverage was OK, but we did hook up our booster. The wildlife in the area wander through the campground every day. Such a great place to sit on a lawn chair and enjoy nature. Our huge site was on a terraced hill with beautiful landscaping. Our fire pit was actually a couple steps down from the site on a separate terrace. This is our favorite private campground from five years of RVing. We have already reserved a site for next year. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The nicest park we have stayed at so far. The entire park is graveled so there is not any dirt or mud. Sites are level and elevation changes between sites are attractively landscaped with rock walls. Lots of pine trees with good shade. However, we had sufficient sight line for our portable satellite. Restrooms and showers were individual rooms each with a shower, toilet, and sink and very clean. Nice laundry. Owners were very nice and friendly. Location was south of Colorado Springs and off the main road so it was very quiet. Drive to Colorado Springs only took 20 minutes to the southern edge which had good shopping and restaurants. Passport America rate was honored for entire stay (3 nights). Wished we had come here sooner and could have stayed longer. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We found this site after looking for the top 20 most beautiful RV sites in America. Mountaindale was in fact beautiful with deer and fawn roaming around daily. The sight of the herd of bucks was incredible and we got lots of video footage of deer that said good night each night. Our site was a pull through site with cable TV available. However, we did not bring a cable and the owner was quick to loan us one. He was by far the most friendly and helpful owner I've met and this world would be a happy place if all could imitate his customer service abilities. We were impressed to see him up late at night guiding new coming campers who arrived after dark to ensure they got into their campsites safely. (Who does that? Mountaindale management does!) We had our dogs with us and Mountaindale offers potty bags for their customers as well as a little play yard to let your pets run free. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub during our stay and utilized the washer and dryers. The facility was super clean and convenient. On Saturday night, the campground hosted an Ice Cream social with a variety of delicious flavors. With all the great things offered, I hate to even complain, but I feel is important to know. Some of the available campsites sit along a road that seems deserted enough until first thing in the morning comes along, and truck, after truck, after truck travels the road to haul rock. It's a non stop deal 7 days a week, with a little break on Sunday. I felt it was a distraction to the peace and quiet in the mornings. But, the noise would be less if we had been farther back in the campground. I personally could not stay connected to the Wi-Fi and would rather it not be available than struggle to hold a connection. But, I was one of the rare visitors who didn't have a problem using my cell phone to make calls. This campground is well kept and very beautiful, but I want to escape all evidence of being in the city when I am camping and the trucks deemed a disappointment to my R&R. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
