I spent 2 nights at this park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Given the size of the park, I was impressed that the staff always called me by name. My pull-thru site easily accommodated my motorhome and toad, and I had a nice view of the mountains. Another plus for me was the WiFi performance-- excellent for a park this size. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of hiking opportunities in the Rio Grande National Forest (see USFS ranger station in Creede.) Scenic drive through the old mining district, including the Last Chance Mine, was very interesting.

This is a wonderful park in one of the most interesting places in Colorado. The campground is close to the banks of the Rio Grande River. The campsites are level, the hookups all work and are modern. The sewer hookups in our site was a bit far from the RV, requiring and extra length of sewer hose. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Creede is an old mining town, but now is something of a resort town for hiking , sight seeing and 4-wheeling. There is a summer theater there.

Mountain View is just a short distance from Creede almost walking distance if you are fit enough for 8800 altitude. All the campsites are large with tables, gravel surface that are level, with full hookups. My only complaint would be that the sewer hook up was locatated near the back of the lot and required an extension for sewer drain. Our site was 128 and we had the afternoon sun (facing west) so the awning didn't help much, you might want to check and see if you can get a site that puts your awning and door facing East.

Great views from any spot in the park, no hiway noise. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Repatory Theatre in Creede has great shows. Drive around Bachelor's Loop Drive around the old mining sites is easy and takes about about an hour 17 miles, great views. Kip's Bar is good bar food and drinks on Main St.

The park is split between privately owned resort sites and a traditional rv park with some of the resort sites available for rental. Our stay began poorly with the less than friendly office staff and this negative sentiment stayed with us.
The park is clean with wide but not very long sites. They are back ins with not much space between the back of your rig and the back of the rig in the next row. There are a few pull thrus as well. The laundry room is large and clean. The restrooms and showers have seen better days but they are clean. The resort side has some nice water features and sculptures as well as some nicely landscaped sites.
Wi-fi comes in three levels, two of which are an additional fee (we did not use any) and there is a list of rules which must be signed regarding dogs (we have none so I am not sure what they entail). The park did not have a weekly rate. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Creede is a cute town to explore. There are lots and lots of both hiking and jeep trails nearby.

This is our second time here and it is a beautiful park with grass, water fountains, huge sites, and nice facilities. $41 a night is a little spendy for us but I know they have a very short season. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Our site was a wide, level, back in with excellent utilities and a terrific view of the mountains. Internet worked fine for our needs, but you can upgrade if you need more bandwidth. Satellite access was very good and the park is gated, with a code to enter. There are two parts to the park, one side that sites are privately owned and the other, daily and monthly. There is access to the Rio Grande River, which flows adjacent to the park. Creede is a short drive away, with all of the services you will need. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We love the Creede Rep Theater, with wonderful performances by very talented actors. The Best Little Doghouse has excellent burgers and dogs. The grocery in town is well stocked with excellent meats and all of the basics.

Monthy rate is $675.00 plus electric. Sites are spacious, park in great but too expensive in my opinion. Many things to do in and around the area. Beautiful mountains. Very nice people in office. Rained much of the time we were there. Great weather other than the rain. Cool at night. Would have rated better if price was cheaper. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

They must have fixed the WiFi as we got the free service and can easily download movies and do anything else we need to do. The park is beautiful with water fountains, green grass, and exceptional service. We will definitely stay here next year. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice, good quality, well maintained campground with two separate buildings with satellite TV available, BBQ grills, billiards / pool table, DVD player, Sunday church service, and more. However, they still do not have quality Wi-Fi despite their advertised new top of the line system! According to the disclosure one must sign to get their free Wi-Fi log in (for one device only) it describes the basic free service as only being able to log on to the Internet. (Not sure why they bother with the free since it even states very limited service). That is their bronze service. Next is Silver Wi-Fi which states will allow you to surf the net and check email. After the bronze (free) did nothing for us as its speed was too limited do do anything, we jumped up and paid for the Gold service which was advertised to allow streaming Netflix etc, yet it too was a dismal failure with no such capability or reliability. Until they get the bugs worked out and they pay their provider for real Internet accessibility, do not expect to have reliable Wi-Fi, not even if you are willing to pay extra for their reported best connection. Again, even if it worked as advertised, you would be limited to one device only unless you are willing to pay for each additional device access. Wi-Fi here is sadly still a dream (see older reviews - it has always been poor or worse). We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wow! This is truly heaven on earth. WE love this resort. We stayed on the Resort side and not the park side, but both were phenomenal. On the resort side its concrete pads, grills, cabanas, etc - as the sites are privately owned. Ours was a three level site that overlooked the pond and the Rio Grande. The park side has huge gravel lots that are level and clean. The views are breathtaking no matter where you are. Solid Internet on the park side. Spotty on the resort side as the owners have to get their own. Laundry was the best I have seen. The lodge is like out of a movie. Creede is off the beaten path, but easy access. Cool town. We liked this place so much we changed our travel plans so can some back for a month in July. Staff is among the best. Can't say enough good things about this place. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a beautiful area of Colorado. Sites and roads are gravel, long and level. Wi-Fi was terrible: unable to log on the week we were here. No service for Verizon Mi-Fi but ATT phone worked well. Half the park are owner sites that are very nice and people were friendly. No cable TV, the water pressure was good, the electric was good. Just a little over priced without cable and Wi-Fi. Would return again if in the area. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Terrible Wi-Fi: constantly in and out. The reservation system is either broken or poorly run. We were told that there was no availability on the resort side and two of the sites we requested were vacant the entire time we were here. Rules are posted everywhere but don't seem to be enforced. Dog owners are the major culprits. I observed one of the golf cart brigade pass by a dog and owner; the dog had just deposited and it was not bagged and nothing was said. This is a park that is in a beautiful, desirable location and critical comments will have little or no impact on occupancy. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.
