We enjoyed our monthly stay here. Our site was wide and level and utilities easily accessible. The park is well maintained. They have Sunday morning non denominational church services. There are other activities available. We camped on the resort side and the wifi there was very weak. I think it must be better on the park side as there were antennas at various places there. I also like that the park is gated and felt safe. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a small grocery store in town and lots of specialty shops. There are lots of four wheel drive trails in the area. North Clear Creek Falls, Bachelor Loop, Last Chance Mine, Alpine Loop in Lake City, are all a must see. MJ's is a great place to eat in Creede. Blue Creek Restaurant between Creede and South Fork is also a great place to eat. Freemons between Creede and Lake City is a good place for breakfast sandwiches and hamburgers.

This was our first trip to Creede, CO. We stumbled upon Mountain Views by accident and we are very glad we did. It is a beautiful park in a beautiful area. The owner is such a nice fellow with quite a vision for his RV Park and RV Resort. We stayed on the RV Resort side in site 258. I can't say enough positive things about this part - probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. The people there were extremely friendly (staff and other campers). The only compliant I have is that WiFi was screwed up and doesn't work well on the Resort side. The staff in the office doesn't explain the WiFi coverage area in the Resort very well during reservations. If you go to the laundry room area - the WiFi is fast and furious! Oh - the laundry room is huge with tons of machines. We will definitely stay there again. Oh - there is no T-Mobile service in Creede. Also you will need Satellite TV as there is no cable. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice RV Park. We stayed on the resort side. All gravel roads and site. Concrete pads with tables. Wonderful views of the mountains. Creede is a very interesting town. Old mining town. It is quite picturesque. ATVing seems to be the activity of choice. There are lots of roads and trails in the area requiring 4 wheel drive and/or ATV. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We had dinner at the Antlers Lodge right along the Rio Grande River. It was excellent atmosphere and cuisine. The headwaters of the Rio Grande River is about 25 miles north on the Silver Thread Scenic Highway. As we have been to Big Bend National Park and Brownsville, which is the terminus of the Rio Grande, we enjoyed seeing the headwaters.

This is a real gem of a park. It is divided in two sections one is a regular RV park mostly gravel sites, the other side is 40 year leases. We stayed on the lease side, it has concrete patios, and more landscaping. The Rio Grande River runs along the RV park. The laundry room is the nicest I have every seen, there are two lodges, and a stocked fishing pond. There is great fishing, hiking, and 4-wheeling in the area. Highly recommend this RV park. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Creede is a small mountain town, with several restaurants, and shops. There is some live music, and live theater. The bachelor loop is nice drive that can be done with out 4 wheel drive, lots of old mines. There is a lot of good fishing, and 4-wheeling in the area. Everyone we met at the park were very friendly, and welcoming.

This park was a huge surprise. The rv sites are huge and the views are amazing. Get up early to watch the sunrise and stay up late to watch the sunset. It was worth it. The office has a gift shop, which has a ton of RV supplies. The laundry room was extremely clean and the amenities were great. It is a very secure park and they have several rules so be sure to follow them. We like rules so if you don't, this may not be the park for you. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are not a ton of pull-throughs but if you can get one, they are awesome. Also, go eat at Kip's Grill as it was very good. It is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Great Sand Dune National Park. Also, Ramon's Mexican Restaurant in South Fork is great.

One of the cleanest, most well laid out and maintained RV parks I've ever stayed in. Stayed 4 nights. Site perfectly level. Only disappointment was they didn't have cable TV. Wi-Fi was poor............as it is in most RV parks. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A great place to get away from the cites, nice sized sites, good utilities, good Verizon, you can buy lots, rent from owners or rent from the park, we loved Creede but it's a small town with a small grocery store so if you stay for extended periods be prepared for a day trip for big shopping. Unless you own a site you can't use the gym which is probably my biggest ding on the park. The park is in 2 sections, a campground section and a class A section. We stayed in the Class A area but the campground is really very nice and cheaper. We talked about returning for a month next time. At a little over 9000ft it's great for summer. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very, Very nice park. Extra large sites, you could fit 2 motorhomes in one site. Nice people in the office, helpful. Half the park sites are owned and owners can landscape as they want other half is for rent. Fishing pond, you keep fish you catch, rainbow trout. $4.50 per fish. Good sized fish. This is a very nice park, large sites, good utilities. Lots of amenities and activities. Wifi was weak early in the day and limited later. We had a weak Verizon data signal. Our only complaint was that we had a site facing west so we had no shade in the afternoon. An east facing site would have been better. We would stay here again. Good views, close to town. I spent 4-days here in July 2016 and found this park to be very nice and welcoming. I didn't reserve in advance but called the morning of my arrival. I ended up in the "Resort" section in a site that was for sale but had not been sold. It was a beautiful site with a great view of the mountains, a water feature at the front of the site and a gravel walking trail at the front, as well.

The bathhouse is clean and nice but not up to the standards of the rest of the park. There is only one bathhouse and it's on the "RV Park" side, not the "Resort" side. The Laundry looked big and well laid out. It too is only on the RV Park side.

In reality there isn't much difference between the two sides. But the sites on the Resort side are available for 40-yr lease and are improved with pads, patios, outdoor dining/kitchens etc.

The wifi is pitiful. It drops all the time. I'm typing this in the park and I'll guess that the wifi will drop while writing. You can pay $3 a day to get better Wifi and I should have tried it. I just wasn't sure it would be any better than the free Wifi.

Cell service here is all 3G. My Verizon and ATT hotspots both show 3 bars and 3G service.

The sites are very large but unless you lease a lot for 40-yrs they are simply gravel with a picnic table, but plenty of room for your RV and tow vehicle/toad.

I'll be back that's for sure. It's a solid 8.5 to 9. Especially in this remote part of Colorado. Remote but absolutely beautiful. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy access from Hwy 149. The park roads in the Resort portion are gravel and sites are dirt and level. Road layout makes it easy maneuvering in a big rig. Sites are gigantic (40' x 80') and range in width, but more than adequate to park beside/behind the camper with fencing buffers. Every utility and connection is conveniently located and are up to spec. Facilities, grounds, recreations and luxuries were clean and maintained. Neighbors are friendly and helpful, staff is accommodating and escort you to your site. This is a destination park with gated access and some lots owned by campers. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects monthly, plus electric.

We were placed in the "owners" side of the park where most of the sites are developed with very nice amenities. Ours was an undeveloped gravel back in that was wide and deep-plenty of room. All utilities worked well and the sky was open for dish.

Plenty of resort activities available, including church on Sunday, pancake breakfasts and more.

The Rio Grande River runs along the edge of the park and there is a pay to fish pond on the property. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Creede is a wonderful small town with most everything you might need. A well stocked grocery, hardware and many good restaurants-Arp's, Kips and a short, scenic drive to Freemon's Ranch for amazing burgers and shakes.

The Creede Reperatory Theater is simply wonderfull!!! We always attend plays here and always enjoy them, what a treat.

I think this is the most beautiful campground I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous 360 degree views. Campground is well laid out; sites are roomy. Beautiful landscaping; lots of trees. Only negative is that the sewers are at the back of the sites and our sewer outlet is near the middle of our coach. Be sure you bring a long sewer hose! Staff are friendly. Laundry is excellent! Big washers. $2 to wash & $2 to dry. And the WiFi is great! We didn't upgrade the WiFi, just got what was free, and we've had no problems. The unpretentious town of Creede is delightful. The Kentucky Belle Market is a full service market and they don't gouge you with their prices. Pass on Smokin' Johnnys BBQ truck across the road from the RV park-he doesn't trim his brisket & everything was too salty!
