Our favorite place to camp, period. This year we had 5 RVs in our group camping at Mueller. We were all so very pleased with the sites, even though they only provide electric at each site. Water is easily accessible in every loop and at the dump station. Two of our campsites were in Revenuer's Ridge and three were in Conifer Loop. The rangers are friendly and helpful, the sites are clean and well maintained with pretty level paved parking, mostly pull-thru. Do be sure to watch length of RV when you reserve, a few aren't suitable for large units. The shower house and laundry room are clean and convenient. Part of our family stayed in the large Ponderosa Cabin, which was our first time using a cabin. Every one of our group loved Mueller's campsites and the cabin was perfect for gathering to eat and sit on the large deck to watch the deer and view Pike's Peak and surrounding beauty. We highly recommend this cabin. Large, comfortable and stunning views out the back windows. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mueller has 50 miles of hiking trails which are well marked. ( One of the trails is now open for pets on a trial basis). Grouse Mountain Overlook is not to be missed. The Wapiti Trail which begins at the Visitor Center is really nice and an easy .8 miles. The Crags is a fabulous place to hike outside the park, only 4 miles from Mueller. Eleven Mile Canyon is beautiful and a great place to picnic and fish and climb on rocks. Whitewater rafting is available about 1.25 hours away in Canon City

Easy to check in. Park Rangers very courteous. Park is very well maintained. Felt safe as the park was regularly patrolled. Many good hiking trails. Campsite was clean and provided electricity, paved parking for cars and trailers. Good picnic tables. Fire ring could use an adjustable grate for cooking. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park with lots of hiking trails and scenery. Electric on service at the camping sites, but water is available at central spigots throughout the camping area and there is a dump station near the entrance. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Travel Trailer.

One of our favorite sites. Stargazing is wonderful at Mueller on clear nights. On clear nights you can see the Milky Way. The trailer sites are spacious and there are mule deer. The hiking trails are good too. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Travel Trailer.

No full hookups. Elec only. Showers cost 25cents a min. With 4 min minimun. 28 a night plus 7$ a day just to access the colorado state parks. Unless u r colorado resident. Then u buy year pass. Clran restrooms. Beautiful area. But low cell reception. No wifi. No sewer or water. There is s Dump station in or out. Camp fees ought to include the park fee. 33 a night to nearly dry camp. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice place to stay. Park rangers were nice visitor center was fun to check out with great views. This place has great history Mr. Mueller gave it to the state park instead of having it developed by houses for all to enjoy. Great man.. Sites were level enough but not very big due to the steep terrain. Dump station was out. Could have been due to late season and cold weather. Lots to do in the area within 20 minutes away. I don't remember exactly what we paid per night but it was worth it, and we didn't want to stay around any town. Good walking trails to get some exercise. I would go back. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Travel Trailer.

An excellent RV park in the middle of the Rocky Mountains yet only about an hour from Colorado Springs and 20 minutes from Cripple Creek. Sites are all heavily treed, walking trails, abundant wildlife, excellent visitors center. Ideal for families. Each site has picnic table and fire ring. Electricity is available but no water or sewer. There is an easy access dump station. This state park is tucked away in the Colorado mountains. No road traffic to be concerned with. A very quiet park with multiple walking trails for hikers....some simple, others more extreme. Highly recommend Mueller State Park. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Motorhome.

I camped in site #89 (30 amp electric only). Water tank fill stations on road to campsite. Be sure to fill up your tank because there is no water at your site in this park. It's a beautiful park with great hiking and abundant wildlife. It is not dog friendly but pets are allowed. Due to the remote location outside contact is limited. I was unable to get phone, Internet, TV, or radio at my site. It's a nice place but a little too remote for me. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Motorhome.

We've camped here once or twice a year for several summers. It's a great place to spend time in the mountains. Campsites are electric only, but the water spigots are spaced conveniently throughout the park and we didn't run out of water in our 5th wheel for the entire week we were here.

We've stayed in every camping section and this time we were in Conifer Ridge. The sites are well spaced and level and the views of Pikes Peak in this loop are amazing. Verizon signal was excellent and we were able to get a few OTA TV stations also. Grouse Mountain loop has a few sites where Verizon is pretty decent, too.

The campground was full the entire week and it was still a wonderfully quiet and peaceful experience. We did several of the in-park hiking trails, and also did The Crags, which is awesome and the entrance to it is only 1 mile south of the entrance to Mueller. Plenty of opportunity to walk your dogs at Mueller just on the campground roads, even if you can't take them on the hiking trails in the park. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Divide has a small grocery store with good selection of supplies. More options for shopping in Woodland Park, 8 miles east. Eleven Mile Canyon, 8 miles to the west, is a really gorgeous place to picnic, wade in the water, take pictures, fish for trout.

This park was a little bit of a disappointment. Most of the campsites are along the main road or in the middle of the road when it splits. There are a couple of loops that are a little more private but the campsites are all very close together. It's very crowded. There are a ton of hiking trails and they are very easy to follow. The people in the Visitor Center were very helpful. The park had laundry facilities that were modern and clean. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
