The owners were very helpful and gracious. They took time to show us around, help us park and make sure every thing was to our liking. The sites are spacious with lots of room between sites. Some very open sites and some in trees. Our site was level. Power and water were great. AT&T signal was good. Activities include game night, yoga, and musical entertainment. We camped at Circle C RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The new owners are working hard to improve their site. The sites are nice size with newly planted trees, picnic tables, and fire pits on a cement block. Two bands practice there so you can listen. The owner took us to our site then made sure all was well. Later he came to introduce us to folks that wash and wax Rvs and trucks. The price was very fair so we had both done. You have a wonderful view of the mountains and close to Cortez which is a cute town. Sadly the Durango fire was burning up the forest so there was smoke in the valley. Lots of things to do in this area. We camped at Circle C RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mesa Verde National Park, Anasazi Visitors Center, Hovenweep, Cultural Center and much more. Our hosts gave us lots of information on the area. One of the best Indian restaurants we have ever been to, Marich Masala. Loungin Lizard is a fun bar with good food.

The staff was very helpful and gracious. Took time to show us around and help us park. Big spaces with lots of room between sites. Some very open sites and some in trees. Site was level and power and water were great. Verizon signal was strong. Very close to Dolores or Cortez for supplies. Easy in and out from the highway. Spent Labor Day weekend at this wonderful park. Sites were very spacious, quiet and private. Location was great for all we wanted to see in the area. The clubhouse offered a nice place to relax, play games, read or watch TV. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and will give you all the info you need to enjoy the local attractions. We camped at Circle C RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

New sites, level gravel, good utilities. Internet was acceptable. Only second season for the new owners, who are very nice and take good care of the campground. Pretty views of the mountains. Nice clubhouse, yoga lessons, music lessons, free laundry. We stayed 7 days. The rate was pay for 6 and get the 7th night free. We would stay here again. Note: it is easiest to stop at the first campsite and walk to the office. If you drive down to the office you may have to back up to your site.

Close to Dolores where their are several good restaurants and antique stores. About 9 miles to Cortez where there is ample shopping, Walmart, City Market, Ace Hardware, etc. 18 miles from Mesa Verde NP.

Hey, when you are roaming around southwestern Colorado you should check out and spend a few nights at Circle C RV Campground. This is a great small campground with a magnificent view of the Ute Mountain which is a peak within the Ute Mountains and the San Juan Mountains. This campground is located just off of Highway 145 about 2.5 miles south of Dolores, Colorado so is very quiet and easy to get to. The campground owners are very accommodating. There is a great clubhouse with a small store & pool table. Very nice doggie park. We camped at Circle C RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cortez, Colorado is only about 8 miles south on highway 145. The Four Corners region of the United States consists of the southwestern corner of Colorado, southeastern corner of Utah, northeastern corner of Arizona, and northwestern corner of New Mexico. The boundaries of the four states meet at approximately 37° north latitude with 109° 03' west longitude, and is marked by the "Four Corners Monument". The Four Corners region is part of a larger region known as the Colorado Plateau and is mostly rural, rugged, and arid. In addition to the monument, commonly visited areas within Four Corners include Monument Valley, Mesa Verde National Park, Chaco Canyon, and Canyon de Chelly National Monument.

The owners are so friendly! We loved meeting them and enjoying the park that they've built. We had spot 3, which is a back-in. We spent some time doing laundry (complimentary, but only one washer and dryer set), and hanging out in their clubhouse, which is very well appointed. The owners also give music lessons (flute, piano, and guitar). We camped at Circle C RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Brand new park. 5 level, graveled back-in sites with more long-term sites in wooded area. Large community building with game room, baths, showers, small store & book exchange. Small rental cabin. All sites with full utilities. Nearby town of Dolores with all services and Dolores River and Lake McPhee. Owners are most anxious to completely accommodate any request and happy to do so. I would be glad to return. We camped at Circle C RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Dolores is 5 miles up the road with all services and Cortez is 10 miles down Hwy. 145 with more services. Mesa Verdi National Park is 20 miles away as is many other ancient native american ruins. Dolores River and Lake McPhee are within 5 miles. Although no cable is currently available antenna service is excellent with Colorado Repeater Service offering over 30 channels. Bring your own WiFi Hot Spot.

The new owners are the nicest folks you'll ever meet.
