Our site was level with central hook ups. However, getting into the site was a challenge. The road was very narrow and uphill with limited turning space. The person who helped us back in was VERY helpful. This park is an older park and not a big rig friendly because of the hills and tight turns. There was no wifi at the site nor did AT &T work. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Fifth Wheel.

All Sites Back-In, My site was pretty level. No AT&T phone or data, Dish sat good, CG WIFI comes & goes. CG is on a steep hill & I was at the bottom next to the main road but noise was ok. I only stayed here because of it's close proximity to the Natl Park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Motorhome.

The park is just outside Estes Park which makes it convenient for visiting RM NP. The campground backs up onto the side of a hill and the sites are very close together. At our site, there was no over the air TV or radio. No cell phone reception except by walking to the end of the campground highest on the hill. No data service. Campground has wifi for accessing weather and Facebook only. Even that service was very slow and unreliable. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.

We needed 2 nights in the Estes Park area and this was the only facility that had an opening. Jellystone is geared for juveniles and they did have some programs. That said, this park seemed to have fewer things for kids than the Jellies I've been in. On the plus side, utilities worked and I had a great view of Southern sky for Dish reception. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Motorhome.

Campground is very easy to get to and we had a back-in site up front that was easy to get into. It's not well lit at night and easy to miss in the dark. All utilities worked well but no cable and we couldn't get any OTA channels. Wi-Fi was slow and we couldn't get much of a cell signal with Verizon but we didn't mind. It is only few miles from the National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Motorhome.

Although the sites for small campers/tents were mostly empty we were put in probably the most unlevel site they have. The wifi was decent for a campground but that might have to do with lack of users. The office closes at 5:00, not very convenient when you are off touristing all day. If I had it to do over again I would not stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Tent.

Rate of $37.38 per night is Passport America rate plus $5.00 extra adult. This rate and below reviews was the reason we selected this park. The RV parks with full hookups in the Estes Park area are all over priced in my opinion. Our site #67 was very short for our 35' motorhome and tow car, had to park perpendicular to the MH with the car and then we were right up on the narrow road. This campground is on a hill with paved narrow roads. Site pads are gravel & dirt with a little grass. The park design is very tight and sites congested. Other reviews echo our opinion and appear accurate. Staff is very friendly and do their best to accommodate. No one else mentioned the water being discolored, a yellow color, odorless. May have been unique to our site. This is a family oriented facility. We had reservations for two nights and decided to stay a 3rd night. We were told we would need to change sites for the 3rd night. We decided to change parks, effort to move 6 spots vs 6 miles is about the same. Moved to Spruce Lake RV, closer to town and more open. Only reason we would stay here again would be because of the discount Passport America discount, good for 2 days. We found the park too congested/tight for our comfort. First the good: The WiFi was excellent, reliable and fast. The escorts really do a good job in assisting RVers to backing into the sites.

Now the bad: The escorts have to be good as the sites are all back-ins and tend to be hilly, sometimes with odd angles to the interior roads. The interior roads are narrow and tend to have obstacles that impede the backing in process. Our road didn't have an alternate exit and traffic had to wait while we were backing in and unhitching, as the our site wasn't long enough to accommodate our 34' trailer and tow vehicle. We were blocking half the road. The site was level from side to side but ran uphill toward the back. The location of the fixed fire ring made it difficult to park my tow vehicle since it was close to the trailer and right where I wanted to park it. Care must be taken when driving on the roads since there are many children playing at this park. There was no cable or OTA TV available. The one laundry room did not have enough washers and dryers for a park this size. In my opinion this park is not worth the cost. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.

Rocky Mountain National Park is gorgeous but crowded. Visit early to find parking at the popular overlooks and the Alpine Visitor Center as they tend to fill up fast.

Great location for the Estes Park region. One thing I noticed that no one mentions in their reviews that there is no over the air TV or cable. So NO TV unless you have satellite. I guess this is normal while in the mountains but a surprise to our group that never encountered this before in our travels. We had a stream behind us near our fire ring/grill which was nice. We stayed 4 nights/ We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Motorhome.

Booked a last minute Mother's day stay at Jellystone. It was so much fun. Lots of activities for the kids and free breakfast on Sunday for Moms. The park was very nice, with streams and trees. Some of the sites were close, but others were nicely spaced. It is in the mountains, so the roads in the park are steep, be aware of that with your rig. They help you back in to your site and are really good at it so no problems there. All and all it was an awesome stay. Cute little mini golf course, flag raising with Yogi, Free Mother's Day gift Craft for the kids, Free movie rentals, Laser Tag, Ceramics, Parades with Yogi, playgrounds, pool, etc. LOTS to do. The Staff is excellent and really nice. It rained ALL day on Saturday, so they let people stay past check out to play Golf and do a scavenger hunt. Such a fun place. We wanted to stay near Estes Park, but still be in the mountains, and this park fits that description. There are lots of families, but they quiet down after sunset. Steep roads in the park, but it was good exercise to walk around. Spot 68 is great because you are tucked back next to a nice grassy area. The staff is super, and they work hard with a constant smile. It's not cheap, but nothing is cheap in this area. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly staff, both at check-in and after. We had picked our site earlier therefore it was easy in and out and good satellite access. Site was adequate and not too close to neighbor. Good Wi-Fi. No AT&T. Close enough to Estes Park (4.5 miles) to be convenient. We would stay here again. Rate reflects Passport America discount. This is a great campground for families with children. Tons of activities, including candy bar bingo, a dance party with Yogi, wagon rides, and a nice playground with pool. We didn't have small children with us so didn't use those amenities. Our friends did however and really liked them. The park was clean, including restrooms and grounds. It had great Wi-Fi, a nice cooked breakfast ($3) and nice staff. My only complaint would be the campground roads are rough, the park could do with a little maintenance, and some sites are quite small, not giving much privacy. We had a small site (68). Many of the sites are a decent size however. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.

This is our second visit to Jellystone Estes and I would highly reccomend it above any the other campgrounds in Estes! First off, for being on the entrance to RMNP (one of the most visited NPs in the country) Estes does not offer much in the way of modern campgrounds. We have stayed at nearly all the campgrounds in the area and Jellystone is the best pick of the bunch. The park is pretty, well kept and offers things to do besides park and sleep. It sits on a terraced, wooded hillside just outside Estes Park. There is a wide variety of sites to choose from and you can find a space for any type of rig. Not all spaces will fit all rigs! The smaller terraced sites farthest up are very, very scenic, but are for only pop ups! There are large sites closer to the entrance that will fit anything. All sites have a table and fire pit. Their "premium" sites are a bit bigger with patio mat, split-rail fence and an additional table/chairs on some sites. We were in full hookup site #65 with out 30 ft trailer with a large slideout. It looked a bit small, but the escort got us in on one try. Somewhat unlevel, but fixable. Once set-up, the site was great! The sites may not be as roomy as some state parks, but they are way nicer than anything else in Estes. The park fills up quickly, so advance reservations are a must! Hookups worked good with decent water pressure and a strong wi-fi signal. (Poor AT&T phone signal due to location probably. Not an issue.) Staff was very friendly! The heated pool was nice and there is a game room with pool table and arcade games. They remodeled their put-put golf course! fun! The park IS geared towards those with smaller children and their activities are age-appropriate. Although there were many children running about, it was not overly noisy and the nights were very quiet. Some reviews noted that the park os "far" from town. Nonsense. you are 6 minutes away from downtown Estes. It takes you longer to get into town having to go through traffic when staying at Elk Meadow Campground! A note on traffic: Estes is VERY crowded on the weekends and in-town parking is at a premium. Have patience. I mentioned some of the other campgrounds in Estes. Elk Meadow is close to RMNP entrance, but is an eyesore. That place is really going down hill. Estes KOA is nice, but is very, very small. You are literally on top of eachother. For the choices in Estes, Jellystone is your best bet! We will be back! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.
