This was our ninth season to camp at Falcon Meadow Campground. We're usually there from April to November but this year stayed until December. We always enjoy our stay. The owners and all their employees are fantastic! A prior post mentioned hundreds of rabbits - quite an exaggeration. There are bunnies (and other neat wildlife) which we enjoy watching along with the diversity of birds in the campground. With the good rains this year there was also an abundance of wildflowers on the property from spring to fall. They did have some trouble with the wifi over the summer, but the owners went to great trouble and expense to install a new system which works just great. We're already looking forward to next April to return for our tenth year at this lovely little campground. - retiredengineer
This is a very old RV park but it has its charm. The sites are mostly around a big circle and has a pretty easy drive thru and relatively level. Too near a noisy highway. Our biggest problem was the rabbits. Hundreds of them. We could not walk our dog without a major battle. All she wanted to do was pull to chase the bunnies. The staff are very friendly and helpful and even helped me get backed into a site when I was here alone. Showers were OK. Good water pressure and plenty of space. - User3482
The rate is based on a monthly rate. I had a site close to the office but was never able to connect to Wi-Fi. The owners are very nice but this campground is in serious need of updating/ fixing. Most of the sites surround a common area with a dilapidated playground and an overgrown horseshoe pit. There were thistles growing all around the playground area--I was concerned the kids would get "stung" by that plant. There wasn't much grass--but a whole lot of weeds. It is teeming with rabbits which makes for a challenging walk with a dog. The water is very, very hard. Highway noise is constant. There were a lot of long term residents who have added fencing and other add ons to their RVs. I would not stay here again except as an overnight stop. - Susan C.
