1 Park near Falcon, Colorado
Jun 2015 - $33.00
The pros and cons from prior reviewers are reasonably accurate. The park is old, has numerous permanent sites and isn't laid out well, but it more than met our needs. Our site was a pull-in and it faced Pikes Peak. Traffic noise is considerable, but tolerable. Traffic in the Denver/Colorado Springs area is horrific...reminds me of Atlanta...but what a lovely area of the country! If you have some time, visit Golden...wow! - DJanis
May 2015 - $33.00
Most of the campers are living there in tents and campers. The area to walk the dogs has lots of junk, old vehicles and lots and lots of rabbits. The park is quiet overall.
Has sewer, 30/50, water, and wifi was very weak. We were close to the office. - lolasmom
Dec 2014 - $19.00
This was our ninth season to camp at Falcon Meadow Campground. We're usually there from April to November but this year stayed until December. We always enjoy our stay. The owners and all their employees are fantastic! A prior post mentioned hundreds of rabbits - quite an exaggeration. There are bunnies (and other neat wildlife) which we enjoy watching along with the diversity of birds in the campground. With the good rains this year there was also an abundance of wildflowers on the property from spring to fall. They did have some trouble with the wifi over the summer, but the owners went to great trouble and expense to install a new system which works just great. We're already looking forward to next April to return for our tenth year at this lovely little campground. - retiredengineer
