Significant highway noise. Bathrooms marginal and not close to site. Manager was just delightful and very helpful and friendly. Cottontails everywhere, very cute. Would not likely stay here again. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very muddy with all of the rain. Lots of full time units set up for winter use. Wi-Fi worked great. Quiet and worked fine for us. We stayed 9 nights and would stay again. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is in the wide open spaces with a great view of Pikes Peak, all the shopping & restaurants you would want within 3-5 miles. Close to Garden of The Gods and Manitou Springs.

Two night stay there. Needed to be on the east side of Colorado Springs. Yes, the park is old. It's been around since 1959, but it's better than many others that have been around less time. It is laid out rather strangely, but is fairly easy to get around. Were originally given a back in spot that had the utilities on the opposite side from where they should be. We asked about another spot, a pull-thru, didn't have sewer, but did have water/electric. Utilities worked fine and were in the right place. Site was a fairly new one on the north end of the park near the dog walk field. LOTS of rabbits in the field and adjacent camp sites, but they weren't a bother -- rather fun to watch them. HUGE, ferocious rain storm the 2nd night, caused some flooding within the campgrounds and some tree damage, trees uprooted and limbs down, but no damage to campers that was visible. One poor soul in a tent probably got soaked! Staff there very friendly. It's a good choice if you need to be on the east side of the Springs, and it's easy to get to locations around town. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The pros and cons from prior reviewers are reasonably accurate. The park is old, has numerous permanent sites and isn't laid out well, but it more than met our needs. Our site was a pull-in and it faced Pikes Peak. Traffic noise is considerable, but tolerable. Traffic in the Denver/Colorado Springs area is horrific...reminds me of Atlanta...but what a lovely area of the country! If you have some time, visit Golden...wow! We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is plenty of shopping nearby. You don't have to worry about running out of something.

Pay attention! Drivers on I-25 think they're in a race and brake hard frequently. Maintain the proper interval for your unit. In 90 minutes we passed 2 serious accidents. One car had its entire front end, including the engine, pushed into the passenger compartment.

Most of the campers are living there in tents and campers. The area to walk the dogs has lots of junk, old vehicles and lots and lots of rabbits. The park is quiet overall.

Has sewer, 30/50, water, and wifi was very weak. We were close to the office. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It was a good 30 minute trip to get to Monument. Lots of traffic and the highway out front is very busy in the morning and afternoon.

Wal-Mart, Lowes, and lots of other stores just up the road.

At the park where we winter almost daily we throw something in the trash that will end up in a landfill and it reminds us that if we were at Falcon Meadow Campground many of these items would go in a recycle bin. In addition to the other reasons we love this campground, we wanted to give Falcon Meadow another thumbs up for their great recycle program!

We are looking forward to getting back there next month! We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our ninth season to camp at Falcon Meadow Campground. We're usually there from April to November but this year stayed until December. We always enjoy our stay. The owners and all their employees are fantastic! A prior post mentioned hundreds of rabbits - quite an exaggeration. There are bunnies (and other neat wildlife) which we enjoy watching along with the diversity of birds in the campground. With the good rains this year there was also an abundance of wildflowers on the property from spring to fall. They did have some trouble with the wifi over the summer, but the owners went to great trouble and expense to install a new system which works just great. We're already looking forward to next April to return for our tenth year at this lovely little campground. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very old RV park but it has its charm. The sites are mostly around a big circle and has a pretty easy drive thru and relatively level. Too near a noisy highway. Our biggest problem was the rabbits. Hundreds of them. We could not walk our dog without a major battle. All she wanted to do was pull to chase the bunnies. The staff are very friendly and helpful and even helped me get backed into a site when I was here alone. Showers were OK. Good water pressure and plenty of space. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The rate is based on a monthly rate. I had a site close to the office but was never able to connect to Wi-Fi. The owners are very nice but this campground is in serious need of updating/ fixing. Most of the sites surround a common area with a dilapidated playground and an overgrown horseshoe pit. There were thistles growing all around the playground area--I was concerned the kids would get "stung" by that plant. There wasn't much grass--but a whole lot of weeds. It is teeming with rabbits which makes for a challenging walk with a dog. The water is very, very hard. Highway noise is constant. There were a lot of long term residents who have added fencing and other add ons to their RVs. I would not stay here again except as an overnight stop. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Bares bones park close to Colorado Springs. Sites are dirt/gravel. Wi-fi was very slow, non-working at times. Water flow was sporadic and electric was good. This park is right next to a busy highway, but since all windows were closed not too bad. We have stayed in most of the parks in the Springs. The price for this park is very high for what you get, but it is convenient to the east side of C.S, so it is OK from that standpoint. RV parks are very limited in CS. This park is OK as a parking point. We would stay here again for convenience. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very old park like 53 years old and lots of the park is showing it's age. Restrooms are very antiquated and need updating. One of the commodes in the men's restroom has been out of order since we got here 3 weeks ago. Water pressure is OK most of the time, but slows down in the evening. Voltage is very good. We are fortunate to have one of the best sites in the park. It is a perfectly level pull through. Some of the sites are really jammed together. We are here for another week and it has served us OK. Management is very friendly and they have a nice little convenience store on site and other shopping including a fairly new Walmart Supercenter is within 2 miles. We probably won't come back in the area, but if we did, we would probably look elsewhere. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground on the west side of Colorado Springs. Quite a few long term and/or seasonal residents, but good pull through and back in sites were still available. You are close to your neighbors, but no problems getting your slides out. Campground WiFi was good and our Verizon card worked fairly well. Good views of Pikes Peak from some sites. The biggest drawback, and the reason I'm rating them lower, was the water, which was still muddy/murky looking after running through our water filter. Not sure what their water issue is, but it does deserve attention from the campground owners. Only 3 miles to a large shopping center with a super WalMart. No discounts offered, so we paid the daily rate for 3 nights. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Up until last week, we have used this campground for our RV propane fills. We live within 4 miles of this RV park. Unfortunately, we were evacuated from the Black Forest Fire...and are still are. They got us in, gave us a great 50 amp spot with plenty of parking, right next to the playground, which was great for our 6 year old. Our family has been to a lot of RV parks, and I have to say, I have never met a friendlier staff than here. They have gone out of their way to make our stay wonderful, given the dire circumstances when we arrived. I have spoken to other campers who were here with our same situation, and their experience was exactly the same as ours. They also have accommodated our schedule, which has been extended, considering we are still evacuated and aren't really sure when we can get home. Sites and restrooms are clean and are within quick walking distance from any site. No issues with water pressure or WI-FI access. Cell phone service is available from this campground (3G, 4G, 4G LTE were picked up from our iPads). Some sites have shade trees and some do not. Thanks to the host for your wonderful service to us evacuees! We really appreciate it and will not forget. This review is the least we can do. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.

For camping in December, this is a 10! The greeting was extremely friendly. I was asked of my plans in case I was needing directions or assistance. They escorted to my site and made sure my full hook-ups were to my satisfaction before they departed. That's service! My site was level and had easy access. My view was spectacular, the Wi-Fi was strong and I wasn't ever bumped off. The shop was a gem! Saved me from going to a grocery store. I also found some fun souvenirs. It's easy to overshoot their driveway, so be sure to slow down as you're approaching it on US24. Was very pleased to be able to fill up with LP before leaving (didn't need fuel, but they have pumps for that, too). We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.

My recommendation here is to call ahead and be really friendly with the staff. We called ahead and got a spot for three nights, looking right across the valley at Pike's Peak. Absolutely stunning views. Pronghorn deer were everywhere, rabbits in the park. The only reason I didn't rate it a 10 is that the WiFi didn't work for us. I assume it was because we were at the far end of the park. That doesn't matter for us as we use our Verizon Hotspot. Laundry facilities were good, dryers were a little slow. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Travel Trailer.
