This park is on the edge of Golden and sits among some busy roads (W. Colfax and I70). Noise is a constant thing, only the level and type changes; cars and motorcycles on Colfax, tractor trailers on I70, and dogs in the doggie daycare across the street. The sites are concrete and most are level. Room between sites varies throughout the park. The showers and restrooms are top notch. The laundry is acceptable, costing about $3 a load to wash and dry. Wi-Fi is iffy. There is a strong signal but is overloaded by the number of connections. Value for this park is low based on the cost. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is very clean, well manicured, and nicely landscaped. The restroom/showers are very nice and very clean. Overall, the park has a lot of visual appeal and is well maintained. The sites are very close together, short and very narrow for big rigs. Our truck had to be parked in a very substandard, muddy parking area away from our site. The site was also not level and had tree stumps that were a tripping hazard. The "dog walk" was more like a dog swamp, very muddy and had standing water. Staff not friendly nor helpful on check-in. We will skip this one if we're ever in the area again. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Friendly staff. Escort to sites. Level sites. Pool is small but very nice. Clean bath/shower rooms. Large, clean laundry ($1.50 washers, dryers $.25 for 15 minutes). We'd stay here again. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice campground with friendly and helpful staff. They escorted us to our site to be sure everything was in order when we set up. The campground is well maintained and clean. Good place to be close to many attractions in the area. Other campers were friendly and considerate. Our only negative is that some of the patio areas are not level but the concrete pads are very nice and level. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park on a ridge just outside of Golden. A little tightly packed and the paved sites could use repaving but all in all really nice. If they'd put in the effort to redo their paving I think it'd help a lot. Certainly I'd stay there again though. Verizon and ATT 4G very strong. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Golden 10 minutes away (at most). Big modern shopping area with all the restaurants you could ask for also little more than 5 minutes.

Denver (area) surprisingly, has few RV parks to choose from. This one is good, with the only down side being that it is right on a VERY busy road with plenty of road noise. No cable TV, but antenna will pick up several local stations. Only problem is that they (like other parks) use long term campers for office personnel, and some of them don't know what they are doing. Just be sure when you check in that you are being told everything correctly. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this campground 5 or 6 times over the past years and they continue to deliver a consistently excellent experience if you know what you come here for. This place is not cheap but the facilities are really very good. Very nice pool, spotless bathrooms and laundry facilities, clubhouse facility with lounge and tables and fitness room, free coffee daily and good wifi throughout. The campsites are almost all level and all are paved or concrete. This is not a back country experience but a perfect full service campground especially excellent for big rigs. Many large pull through sites. Don't come here for the countryside camping experience with a family of kids. Do come here for the proximity to lovely Golden and the foothills of the Rockies in a top notch facility. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

I stayed here two nights and will stay here again. Park was conveniently located. People were very friendly and helpful. Service was great. I stayed in a pull thru, and have a 30ft mobile home with a toad. I had full hookups with cable. Everything worked fine. Restrooms and showers were nice. I like to stay in RV parks that are rated 8 or higher. This exceeded my expectations. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great site with easy access from Interstate. Roads were a little narrow and sites were close together, but it was a great park. Lots of things to see and do in Golden. Pool was cleanest I have seen. WiFi was in and out. Will stay here anytime I am in this area. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures on their web site. This place is run down and badly in need of repair. Our concrete pad was unlevel, cracked, and uneven. It was difficult to level our big rig. Some of the asphalt pads were in the same condition. The roads are worn out and there are many pot holes. Also, the roads are very narrow, making access to the site difficult. There are no level places to connect or disconnect your toad. The grass is dead and brown. A rip-off for fifty dollars a night. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

I don't give very many 10's but this is an excellent park. They'd get a 10 1/2 if they had cable. Antenna pulls in an adequate number of stations. Wi-fi was good most of the time. Power and water pressure acceptable. Sites are paved, wide and the pull-thrus are long enough for big rigs and tow vehicles. Sparkling clean pool (temperature was perfect) and hot tub. Clean bathrooms/showers. Roomy laundromat with very reasonable prices. Lounge area with a pool table and an exercise room. Nice little hill to climb with a picnic area at the top. Extremely nice people in the office. Quiet at night. Convenient to highways (but far enough away to keep noise to a minimum) and to Golden. Two restaurants that you can walk to. Convenience store across the street. Cute little vintage amusement park just down the road ideal for children. Resident bunnies that came around every night to beg for carrots. Your trash is picked up every morning from your site. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.....there are not a lot of other choices in Golden. And, yes, they have a no-refund policy, but it's rare to find a park that doesn't. Park seems to fill up every night, so reservations are strongly recommended. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is Good Sam discounted. Excellent access to area. WiFi is acceptable (sometimes) and better than most parks. People are pleasant and helpful, but it's obvious management has been "abused" by some "campers" so have removed cable and mailing, etc. Third or fourth time here and would stay here again. Although a bit tight, staff guides lead you to site to minimize any tight turns. Very good facilities. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

An ok park but not my first choice. We find this park to be way over priced. We stayed here a month and wanted an end spot but they said they didn't have any available. Well all month long they were available. I think they put you where they want you not where you would like to stay. Even though I paid top dollar for this spot, we have a small trailer right next to us with screaming kids and mom and dad screaming at them, and I can't get an end spot. The sites are no more that ten feet apart and the doors meet each other which is not my favorite way to park. Our neighbor on the other side just sat down to use the restroom. Yes it's that close! The wifi is very poor. I never got a good signal right across from the office. I saw a person park there automobile behind there trailer as they were getting ready to pull out and they had a tire in the grass and the manager came over and got all over this guy. The man was very upset and I found it to be very unprofessional. As I said this is not my first choice while staying in Denver but as you will find there is not too much to choose from and I think they are ripping people off. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Everything about the location of this campground is great....Close to Denver, Golden, Mountains, Boulder, Colorado Springs. Inside the campground comes the disappointment. We were here for two weeks and found road noise, excessive noise from a manufacturing facility right next door..lots of beeping fork lifts. The sites are narrow and when it rains you step right onto mud and grass. The interior roads are crumpling and there are some spots that have potholes and raised asphalt. The sites are so close together we had a small section to put a chair out that was even level. In talking to our neighbors over the two weeks everyone had the same disappointment over the crowded conditions. Not worth the price for the cramped conditions. The owners need to do some serious upgrades to the roads. We stayed in a Motorhome and found leaving our site to be a challenge due to the closeness and overhang on other campers. We will not return nor recommend for any extended stay. We even witnessed a military member with an emergency where the Campground would not refund their four last nights. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

If your RV is under 25 feet, you are forced into certain spots regardless of cost or availability. Do not accept sites that back on to the factory that works 24/7; you get no peace . Dogs are allowed, but no pens, so if you want your dog outside you must sit with a leader . Overall not a bad place but not great. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.
