Still the great place it's always been (see my previous reviews). Recently lengthened, improved sites are attracting large, multimillion-dollar coaches which is nice to see. Everyone is nice and everything is clean & well maintained. Internet is still terrible from overuse. Bring your own. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA site a little SE out of town, but it's only 10 minute drive back to main street. Friendly staff, clean facilities, mostly shaded by trees. Gravel & dirt roads and walkways, with some grass between sites. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Well maintained park. Level roomy sites with nice grassy area in each. Big laundry room with reasonable rates. Many sites had shade. This park is on a busy road but isn't loud. Good park for dogs. We would happily return. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice enough KOA. Prettier than some. Very convenient if you are going down 50. We spent two nights. Park had trees but pull-through sites were easy to get into and very level. The park was full, even in early May so reservations recommended. Staff was great - friendly and helpful. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mesa Mall in Grand Junction has a Cabellas and REI. Good chain restaurants. Visited UNAWEEP Canyon which was beautiful.

Lady that led us to spot seem to hate her job and helping us

We had a premium site. That gave us some grass, table and unlevel pavers with gravel mostly for RV to sit on. Cable was not good but satellite worked. Doggie park was a ways to get too but there were 2 pens to use. This campground close to grocery store, restaurants, bank and right off Hwy 50. For us it was a place to stay not to sit and enjoy campground. So it worked just fine. Roads were gravel. Not easy to maneuver the 40 ft coach pulling jeep but doable. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go see Colorado National Monument. Beautiful park and really good dirt road or jeep trail up to Mesa top

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend since it was on the way to Moab. Good gravel, level, pull-through site. Campground was easy to get around. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

You have to spend a day and see the Colorado National Monument. Great ride through the park. Spectacular scenery.

Best. Staff. Ever. Well-gravelled, nearly-level, very long pull-through sites that were lengthened just last year, which is why the utilities seem to be strangely placed. Many mature shade trees. Constant, year-round maintenance keeps this place top-notch. Still, it's a bit overpriced which keeps it from getting a 9 (I never give out a ten). Next door to, and downwind of, a horse arena -- so there is dust, loudspeaker noise, and flies during the warm months. Also, Internet/wifi is worthless: bring your own. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many, many things to see and do in Grand Junction. I spent a whole winter and spring there and still didn't see it all. Colorado National Monument, more 4WD trails than you can imagine, backcountry hiking, red rock canyons, the list goes on and on.

We enjoyed our two stays at this park. We had a pull-through site that was long enough to keep the toad hooked up. We stayed for 4 nights total. The location is right off a main road close to a grocery store and right next to the fairgrounds. They have a small dog area but we liked walking the dig at the fairgrounds. The site was level and graveled. There was an area with pavers where there was a picnic table. The sites were spaced well. My only complaint is the utilities are oddly placed. They are way off to the side and toward the back of the site. We had to put an extension on the sewer connection. The cable TV was good and the Internet even worked well! The managers were very nice. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

You could not ask for a cleaner and better staff than this KOA provides. The place was spotless, sites were level. Water pressure was high; bring a regulator. Would stay here again We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

I'm not a great fan of KOA's but this was a good park. Pull-thru sites were just long and wide enough for big rigs. Some sites have paved patios and a little grass and some are shaded. Water and electric were strong. Pool, bathrooms and showers were clean. Good laundry. Very helpful people in office. Gravel roads and sites, a little dusty. Convenient to downtown Grand Junction and business district. Next to the fairgrounds, so there could be some noise from there when there is an event. Cable good; Wi-Fi adequate. Grocery store near. Fires are allowed. Two dog enclosures. Playground and miniature golf. The only thing I didn't like was that you can't turn left into or out of the park onto highway 50, so you have to do u-turns. We would stay there again. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped one night here when the campground was full except for a couple of small sites. Very clean and well organized. We had a large pull-through site that was great - gravel, but quite level; a grassy space for the dogs; a concrete paver patio with a picnic table; wood fire pit/BBQ; and full hookups including cable TV. Wi-Fi worked well though a little slow at times. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, check-in was quick and easy, and the yellow shirts were visible a lot around the grounds. Bathrooms were clean, though the showers could use a little updating. Also, they only clean and restock once a day at noon so by the following morning, a couple of the stalls were out of paper. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well kept. They offered a kids movie night when we were there (Saturday) which was popular. Despite being full, the grounds were very quiet with little road noise and almost no intrusive noise from fellow campers. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great park located between Grand Junction and Delta. Owners take pride in their campground. Even have grass between sites. Our pull-through was level and gravel with grass on the side. Staff was helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.

Price reflects KOA discount. We are at a deluxe pull-through. Excellent park, clean, easy on easy off Hwy 50. Quiet. Some shade. Will stay here again when in the area. Stayed 4 nights. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Motorhome.
