Nice grassy sites. A little tight but no more than other private campgrounds. We had an end pull through site, easy to get into but it is a busy park so lots of traffic being on the end. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Motorhome.

Quiet and nicely maintained. Staff was friendly. Laundry and shower facilities were clean. No cable TV but Wi-Fi was decent. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed a month to get the monthly rate. Under new ownership. It is a nice park, but like most of today's parks it could really use a face lift. Campsites are okay, with grassy areas and gravel for the trailer. We had water shut off a couple of times while here, and water pressure was inconsistent. The previous owners used to live here and had a photo gallery as part of their living quarters. Since their departure the building has gone to pot, and lawn mowers, and assorted other junk decorates the front and side. So attractive! The staff is friendly and responsive. I requested some limb trimming to avoid damage to our fifth wheel and so I could extend our awning, and both times the staff was there within minutes and solved the problem immediately. There is a brook running through the camp that is really an irrigation ditch pulling water from the nearby river. With all that moisture around the skeeters were incredibly bad starting at dusk. Bearable the rest of the time, I suppose. Good on the staff: the last three nights there, they had a mosquito spray truck come through to help keep those evil critters at bay. Great location. 5 minutes to Gunnison, which is a terrific town with many good restaurants. Also nice shops and galleries abound. Friendliest people we have ever experienced in 3 years on the road. 35 minutes from Crested Butte, another terrific town. Plenty of hiking, sight-seeing, boating, 4 wheeling, terrific fishing. Just around the corner is the giant reservoir. Easy to stay busy for a week or a month. Wi-Fi was actually pretty darn good as RV parks go. No complaints there other than the usual slowdown when too many on at once. But mainly it was fast and reliable. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Spend some time in Gunnison, great town and friendly people. Open Your Eyes photo gallery on Main Street highly recommended. Crested Butte is a must, as is the Ohio Pass Road just north of Gunnison Don't do: skip Garlic Mike's. Blandest food I have ever had in a restaurant and pricey. Blew $40 (without a drink) for nothing.

Very nice, well-maintained campground - - employees are always out on golf carts tending to any maintenance needs. Friendly, helpful staff. Sites are level, mostly back-ins, most are long enough for large rigs although toads/tow vehicles have to park crossways in front. Sites and roads are gravel with grass in between, not real wide but enough room for a picnic table. There are some premium sites that are wider and have concrete patios, some with private hot tubs. Wi Fi worked well. No cable TV, but we had satellite reception at our site, and all the major stations can be received over-the-air. There are many very large trees in the park which may hinder satellite reception in some sites. Nice laundry room. Restrooms/showers not real large. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate is for weekly rate. Staff was all great. Sites are level and gravel. Spacing was about what I would consider average. It was close, but at least there was a little space between rigs and your slides did not touch. Park was clean and neat. Would definately stay here again. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is under airport but there is noise every day. Town is about a 2 mile drive for food and supplies. If you are a ATVer you have to load your toy up and drive to trailhead. It's a average park; would stay at again. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are close together, but fairly level. Most sites are gravel, some have concrete patio. Very few pull-thrus. Very dusty. There are lots of semi-permanent residents. Office staff very helpful. Dog park is part of a ditch off to the side of a major hwy (US 50). No trash can to put doggy waste available nearby and only one dumpster in entire park. Excellent Wi-Fi available. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Shady, quiet when we were there. They used to have cable TV, but disconnected it the last time the cost went up. Lots of park models around the outside perimeter, so could be busy during the summer. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Park is OK but is way too pricey for an older park with mostly narrow back in sites, no pool, and Wi-Fi equivalent to dial up speed when it does connect (and I could see a Wi-Fi antenna from my rig's door). Price shown is for one of their very limited pull-throughs, which costs $5/night extra. Neither their web site or the prices posted outside the office show this premium for the pull-through. Published prices also do not include several dollars per night in additional taxes. The site was easy, long enough, and level. However, most of the sites are narrow, as was mine. My neighbor could almost touch my bedroom slide from his picnic table. Hosts were friendly, restrooms were clean if a bit dated, lots of shaded sites. However I will try one of the other parks in town the next time. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice place with a friendly reception staff. We stayed on a premium site with the hot tub on site. Wife loved that. The tub chlorine level was too much for us though. Site was very narrow because of the distance between the hook up side fence and the hot tub left us with just 5-6" of space from the slide outs on each side. We would return again, probably will look for a wider site though. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for here for 2 weeks and then extended on short notice for and additional 11 days. The nightly rate of $28.77 was based on 3 weekly rates plus 4 daily rates with a Good Sam discount including tax. Park is in excellent condition. Laundry facilities are very good. Owners and park host couples all were very helpful with any problems or questions. Park is between Gunnison and Blue Mesa Lake, so access to both is a short drive. Interior roads are gravel. RV spaces are very level. WiFi worked well. We had some outages, but problems were fixed quickly. TV reception is by antenna, unless you have satellite. The park has plenty of shade trees. We will definitely stay there again. We camped at Mesa Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We came to this park after leaving Creede Co, due to forest fires. What a great find! We showed up with no reservation and were pleased to be escorted to a very nice, long, wide, gravel site with grass and large trees. The sewer connection was actually low in the ground, Yea! The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Someone was always maintaining the landscape. Wi-Fi was fast and Verizon phone was good. Lots of fun stuff to do in the Gunnison area. There are enough stores of all kinds and plenty of restaurants as well. We will come back and stay longer! We camped at Mesa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
