2 Parks near La Veta, Colorado
Nov 2015 - $35.00
This Campground is a little out of the way for an overnight but it is great for a longer stay. We went for a premium site that was along the river for the extra 5.00 and it was very nice to hear the water running all the time. The campground is very neat and clean. They have a great common area that has a propane fire pit which is very nice to gather at night. The service was exceptional. The hosts were very easy going and helpful. We would definitely stay again given the opportunity to be in the area. - John Borajkiewicz
Oct 2015 - $26.00
The campground was very clean and neat looking. There were many shade trees and small stream running along one side of campground. Some nights they had a campfire for the entire camp. Very helpful if you needed help.
We stayed there for 10 days and hope to stay there again soon. Great WiFi.
One of the nicest parks we have stayed in . - mikt
Oct 2015 - $33.00
They have a very limited number of 50 amp spots, so check on that if you require that. We were there with a group & they were very accommodating to us all. Site was back-in & was pretty level.
Gravel - Dirt with a picnic table. - K Martin
Aug 2015 - $15.00
First time here. Sites are very close and tight. Wi Fi was broken more than worked and poor when working. Stayed a month, mid 80's during the day with a nice breeze. Office staff and owners very nice and helpful.
Would stay again but not for a month. Not that much to do in and around La Veta. - Robert and Monica
May 2013 - $28.00
What a nice little park. Nothing fancy about it at all, and the amenities are limited, but the owners are friendly as can be, the park itself is neat as a pin, and it's very quiet. The sites are somewhat smallish and lots of trees mean you'll have to be a little extra careful getting in/out of the sites, but I didn't see anyone have a serious problem, even with big rigs. The WiFi was strong and steady. The tiny village of La Veta has its charm, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. I'd come back in a heartbeat. - JohnTucson
Jun 2012 - $26.00
Charming little park made better by the owners and staff. They treat you like family the entire time you're there. The sites are tight if the park is full but while we were there, that only happened on the weekend. Nice mountain breezes so we didn't need to run our A/C. There is no 50 amp service at this park, so the breezes were appreciated. No OTA TV signal. Very poor Verizon signal but very good free Wi-Fi! The town is quaint and charming also. Many galleries and little shops. Much to see and do in the area. Highly recommend this park! - Gypsy Turtles
