2 Parks near La Veta, Colorado
Jun 2015 - $28.00
We stayed at this lovely small RV park two days in early June. The river front lots are shady, with grassy areas separating the spaces. We were in site 25, with nice afternoon shade.
The folks running the park were delightful and very helpful. The Park has very well kept landscaping. The Laundry and shower house are older but clean.
The office has a free on-your-honor DVD and book lending library, with several dozen recent titles. There is strong WiFi in most areas, except inside the shower house, oddly enough. - Llando88

We don"t usually care for private parks but this was an exception. The owners are very friendly and the park is well maintained. Nice large level sights. There are sites on the Cucharas river also. We liked the area so much we extended our stay. All the rain they had this year made everything lush. I would have given this park a 10 if I could have had a campfire. The town doesn"t allow fires. You can use propane or charcoal to cook on. - TEXASBOY

Price reflects weekly rate for 30 amps. The owners are Snowbird RVers, know what RVers want; and do everything they can to provide a great stay for their guests. Sites are easy to back into with level gravel surface. Each site has a well tended lawn with a picnic table and just the right amount of space between rigs. Local fire regulations prohibit individual fire pits, but there is a nice communal gas fire near the club house that the owners will let you use. Bathrooms and showers are kept spotless. Washers and dryers worked well with plenty of room for folding. The club house had lots of games and puzzles. They had one of the largest libraries I've seen for a park of their size; great for dropping off used books and picking up some new things to read. Verizon worked well, and we had a great view of the mountains to enjoy while we worked. - Rambling Registrar

What a nice little park. Nothing fancy about it at all, and the amenities are limited, but the owners are friendly as can be, the park itself is neat as a pin, and it's very quiet. The sites are somewhat smallish and lots of trees mean you'll have to be a little extra careful getting in/out of the sites, but I didn't see anyone have a serious problem, even with big rigs. The WiFi was strong and steady. The tiny village of La Veta has its charm, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. I'd come back in a heartbeat. - JohnTucson
Jun 2012 - $26.00
Charming little park made better by the owners and staff. They treat you like family the entire time you're there. The sites are tight if the park is full but while we were there, that only happened on the weekend. Nice mountain breezes so we didn't need to run our A/C. There is no 50 amp service at this park, so the breezes were appreciated. No OTA TV signal. Very poor Verizon signal but very good free Wi-Fi! The town is quaint and charming also. Many galleries and little shops. Much to see and do in the area. Highly recommend this park! - Gypsy Turtles

This is a great park with a friendly and helpful staff. The sites are gravel, many with grass and lots of shade trees. This is a great place to spend the summer! This price reflects the monthly rate. - hoppynme2
