Rate reflects cash discount. Very nice, clean park located just before you get into La Veta from HWY 160 west. The 50 amp sites back up directly to the Cuchara River, which was flowing swiftly while we were there. Big rig access is easy. Spaces are wide enough for comfort, long enough for our 37' with tow. Each site has a nice little picnic table. Electric was steady, water pressure good. The park WiFi worked very well, we experienced no drops or delays with it. The owners are present on site and are very pleasant to work with, check-in was easy and quick. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area and gives good advice on what to do and see. There is a washer/dryer room, showers, and a library. We didn't use the showers or restrooms, but everything in the building was clean and neat. There were two issues that kept us from giving this park a 10. First, just too many dogs off leash in the park and on the roads around the park. In one case, the owner did intervene and tell the owner they had to leash the dog, but of course, the minute her back was turned, the dog was off leash again. And second, there is no access to the river for those not in the 50 amp back-in sites, so people just cut throgh occupied spaces to get to the river. Other that those two things which annoyed us, it's a nice place to stay and we would probably stay here again while in the area. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great market, Charlies, has a good ice cream fountain. Visit the Fort Francisco Museum, very interesting. The drive along the Highway of Legends (CO12) is well worth the trip. Going west, visit the Fort Garland Museum. In Walsenburg, there is an old jail/prison that has been converted to a mining museum...small but well worth a visit. Interesting both as an old jail, and about mining in the area.

Stayed here for our motor home club rally. Super friendly owners and staff. Very clean. Full service with back-in spaces. On the river. Not our first and won't be our last stay here. Close to golf. No noise. Pet friendly. Book early. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Motorhome.

Super friendly, small, simple park but with plenty of options. We were the only "foreigners" there, so lots of friendly passers by coming along to chat to us! We had a back in site, level, easy access and everything working as it should. easy walk into the small town. There is a small DVD lending library and book swap, plus wildlife wandering through the park. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Motorhome.

Check their web site for access instructions. Our satnav at first wanted to take us along a dirt road and across a missing bridge. The main road in and out is just as quick and much easier.

This is a small park run by very friendly folks. It's a little out of the way for an overnight, but it was beautifully quiet and it had excellent WiFi. For us, the only thing that would have made it better would have been a hot tub or swimming pool. Also, the sites in the park are all backins. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a nice stay at this campground. The people are very friendly, as are the owners. Many of the 50 amp sites are booked for longer stays. We would definitely stay here again. Absolutely no road noise, easy access from the highway, and the ability to walk to the downtown area are huge pluses. Sites are just wide enough not to feel cramped. Excellent electricity. Rys Avenue Bakery was great as was the Paradise Coffee House. Beware--most restaurants are open only Thursday through Saturday or Sunday. This is a quiet corner of Colorado.

What a nice park. The owner is a great ambassador of the local chamber of commerce as she puts local events in her weekly newsletter. Spacious sites, good water pressure, new, stronger Wi-Fi. This is our second visit here and we'll come again next year. The other park across town is too tight, and the park across the road from this one isn't as nice, so this is the best RV park in town! We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Quaint little park at the end of a dirt road--very quiet, no road noises. Sites are long, level, gravel back in. Just a few 50 amp sites, which are mostly taken. Good wi fi, no TV at all. Excellent restrooms, laundry, community room with large lending library, and DVD lending library in office. Some shade. Owners are super. When my husband developed breathing problems after one night, our money was quickly refunded for the rest of our stay. Not many parks will do that! Would love to come back but probably can't because of the altitude. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a small park with mostly seasonal residents. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was occupied when we pulled in due to a misunderstanding. We had to wait 2 hours to set up. We were provided a shaded place to sit and ice cream bars. Staff checked on us several times. We found park to be very friendly. Residents were welcoming. Site was level with back shade. Laundry and restrooms were spotless. Park is within walking distance of downtown La Veta. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were there for 2 days, but did not spend much time at the campground. We went sight seeing and had a great time.

The campground is small. The people we met there come to spend the summer there. A nice place though a bit pricey. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our second time to stay here. One of the best little private parks I have stayed in. The owners are great and this facility is well kept. I normally don't like to stay in rv parks but this one is an exception. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean park. Well maintained, easy hook ups. Owners want all to feel welcome and happy. Should problems occur they will help or direct you to help. Laundry available. Small dog park. Stayed for a month electric was included. The best camping in area. Nice size spaces. Gravel pads and streets. A walk to town for ice cream @ Charlie's a must. Stock up before arriving on essentials. Town is mostly small art and gift shops. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here twice this month, first in early June and liked it so much we came back on our way home from Colorado Springs and Estes Park. Originally we made reservations for the second stay for two nights but extended it to five. Loved it so much we couldn't leave! First stay was in site #12 (back-in, 50 amp). Second time was in site #31 (back-in, 30 amp). For privacy, site 31 is excellent. Even though all the sites are back-in, we had plenty of maneuvering room. Park owners are very nice and know the meaning of customer service and hospitality. Only drawback is the limited availability of 50 amp sites. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Best park that we stayed at on this trip - one of the very best that we have ever stayed at for ambiance. Mountain views all around (7000 + ft altitude and small river in back of our rv). Just a small park but electric voltage and water pressure were good and wifi was excellent (small park). Staff and owners were super nice. Town is very small with little to do but relax so stock up with supplies before you come. We stayed here on our way further west and also on the return trip back east. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We found this place while looking for an overnight spot. We plan to go back for a weekend relax. Its a bit out of the way and very small. Back in only spots but super quaint and nice place. Along a river with plenty of trees and grass. The staff were super nice and I need time to explore the little shop and town which I did not have on this trip.
