Really not much more to say from what others have said. Sites are close. Gravel sites. Hookups convenient. Great place for an overnight stop. We will return. We camped at Limon KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a nice small town grocery store on Main Street. We didn't visit the liquor store (in Colorado, wine and liquor can only be sold in liquor stores). The history and railroad museum is worth a visit!

This was just a one night pass through stay. It had rained a lot and there were many pot holes. The park could use a good layer of new gravel. Our site was level and good sized. We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.

Only campground in the area and it was almost full both nights we stayed here. It can be very dusty if the wind kicks up and there is little shade. Sites are close but no more than most of the campgrounds we have stayed in. All services worked well. Getting in and out can be difficult when RV'S are checking in because of the one way sign. Not much around in the area and the town is rundown but still an okay stopover if you need a rest. We camped at Limon KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Only act in town, but it was ok for an overnight stay. Site was a pull thru and easy to get to and the utilities were accessible enough also. Satellite easy to set up, no obstructions to speak of. Pizza Hut right down the road, easy walk. Pretty expensive for what you get, but like I said, the only act in town! We camped at Limon KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Like others said, only act around. Park was good for overnight. Level packed gravel roads and sites. Wifi was OK at our site. Good Verizon and T-Mobile signal. Cable TV. FHU's good. Most sites satellite friendly. Park has tent and cabin sites. McDonald's in town has RV parking. Grass areas for rover. Pizza Hut nearby delivers/Hunt Brothers at campground also delivers to site. Staff friendly. We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is a good place to stop for the night. Our site was a little too narrow and short, but it was adequate for one night. It was fairly level. Interior roads were tight but navigable. The laundry was clean and large, and several of the machines looked very new. Staff was friendly. No dog park. Bring your fly swatter! Don't know if it's the time of year (September) or it's always this way, but there were a lot of flies. We camped at Limon KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here before and always had a pleasant experience. This last trip we stayed one night 9/23 on the way out west and again for one night 9/30 coming home. Both times we were in site #3 which is very long and wide. We are in a 44' motorhome and left car hooked up both times so this park is definitely big rig friendly. Only little knock is this park is gravel/dirt like most KOA's. They had received quite a bit of rain before our 9/30 visit and our site did not drain well. Had I remembered all the rain I would have just gone a little farther east to the KOA in Goodland or Wakeeney KS. Over all good stay and good job Limon KOA! We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Owners very friendly and the spaces were great. Lots of room for rig and tow vehicle. They even make pizza on site and deliver to your front door! Very nice after long day traveling through South Dakota and Nebraska. Would stay here again. We camped at Limon KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We full-time around U.S. in MH w/tow to sightsee, so we look for campgrounds with pull-thru sites satellite-friendly with 50 amp FHU. We usually stay only one or two nights. Campground clean and easy to navigate. The campsite was level and met all of our criteria. Also, it was only 1/2 mile off I-70 but we didn't notice any road noise. We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is a bit worn as is the pool area. The area surrounding the campground looks a bit run down. The pull through sites are close together all in all probably towards the bottom side of the KOA's I stayed at but not the worst. At $51 a night a bit $$$ and probably would not stay here again. Overall Rating:

Not exactly in a tourist area, but good for an overnighter. Decent facility, kept up clean and accommodating. Utilities well-placed and reliable. Gravel inner roads and pads, can be a bit dusty if the speedy ones zip through. Adjacent to I-70, but far enough away noise isn't a problem. You can get some pretty good pizza at the office. There's also some RV supplies and a small gift shop. We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a great and convenient to 70 place to stay. We stayed for the night. Very nice staff, lots of bunnies running around. Would definitely stay again. We tried to stop in Lamar first but terrible and scary campground there. Very glad we chose to come to the KOA in Limon. We camped at Limon KOA in a Motorhome.
