Stayed here a week and used Passport America for some of that. Really good deal. Located next to the River and they have River access and directly on it. Small water but cool. Lower set camp ground and a long way from the highway off route 34. You have to go thru town a ways to get here. There are others along the way. There is absolutely no verizon cell coverage. The wifi wasn;t bad but would not count on it. There is a small play ground and on the route to Estes Park. Nothing special but cheap and cheerful. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is on the Big Thompson River about 4 miles out of metropolitan area so it was nice and quiet. Landscape of park is basically all gravel. I wouldn't call it a parking lot because sites are laid out through the trees, etc. Some FHU sites back onto the river.

We booked online on their site and had to pay up front for both nights - not ideal. Most times when we have booked a park online, we've been charged for one(1) night as deposit.

When I checked in, I was assigned a site in the trees. I said that I had specifically picked the on-line option for a river site. The check-in clerk said he had no control over who got put where. I said I had selected the river site option, so what's the deal!? After a little effort, I was given a site backing onto the river.

The check-in person seemed to "turn-off" after I asked for a river site and he had to scramble to find me one. Not unfriendly, but not apologetic either. I would have appreciated a bit more customer service.

Wifi was typical of most parks when it's busy.

I don't think I would stay here again. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Rocky Mountain National Park - don't miss it! Take a tour with Rocky Mountain Rush Tours (www.rockymountainrush.com) - all seats face forward unlike some of their competitors. Absolutely the only way to see RMNP. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!

Estes Park is a neat place to explore - farmer's market was "on" the morning we left on our tour - all sorts of stuff available.

Interior roads and sites are level dirt with gravel. Many of the pull-through sites are side by side. Sites are close together but generously wide roads make maneuverability easy. Many mature trees provide a lot of shade. Electric and sewer were good, water pressure was low, wi-fi was frequently slow but functional, cable was basic but worked well, AT&T phones worked but there was no data service. The restrooms were clean, the laundry was worn but clean. Many sites are permanent and a lot of those are old, sprawling and unkempt. Office hours are rather limited but the staff was friendly and helpful. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites were short and rather narrow but we were able to use both slides and awning. Roads and sites were sand/gravel but level and in fairly good condition. All hook-ups worked well, including cable and wi-fi. Staff was friendly and helpful and we were escorted to our site and really appreciated the help getting backed into our site between trees. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is dirty. The road surfaces are dirt, and every time a vehicle comes or goes it kicks up a major dust storm. Your vehicle(s) will not stay clean here, and you can't sit outside for long without being assualted by a cloud of dust. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Conveniently located for seeing the national park and going into Loveland and Fort Collins. It was quiet but we we left Saturday morning so didn't experience the weekend. Staff is very nice. Sites are unevenly spaced because of the big trees so we were much too close to the neighbor on our only side with windows. Biggest negative is the horrendous amount of dust. Roads and sites need tons more gravel. Roads could be watered to keep the dust down. Cable didn't work but we got good over-air reception. Wifi was good on one of our laptops but not on the other. Verizon hotspot worked fine but had zero cell phone service. Had to drive into town to use the phone. Laundry was out of order for our whole stay. When we arrived they wanted to charge us $30 more than our two confirmation emails said we owed. They said we were quoted the wrong amount but it was finally worked out when another check-in person got involved. We would consider staying again except for the dust. Maybe that's the way everything is in this area but we found it very unpleasant. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 2 nights. It was somewhat level and a little close to the next door neighbors, but it was quiet. The trees and river made it so peaceful. Everyone was friendly and we'd stay again. We had full hook ups, free Wi-Fi. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 2 nights before Estes Park. Staff great, giving directions to a quick route to Ft. Collins, to a great hiking area nearby. Access to large grocery stores within 5 miles. Some odor problem with an overloaded septic field, but tolerable. Would stay again. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice RV park, situated along the Big Thompson river. There are many sites that back right up to the river bank. They have a nice park with swings and a jungle gym; plus ample grass to throw a football and play volleyball. There is usually weekend entertainment in the pavilion. The dog run is a good size and grassy. There is a nice walking trail that borders the park and follows the river. There are long term residents in the park. The free WiFi service from Tengo was so-so. AT&T had some cell service, but there was no data service. Verizon had cell service and occasional data service. We normally had to drive 3 or 4 miles into Loveland for cellular data service. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a great RV Park for the summertime. We stayed in a pretty average, interior space (not a river front one), but it wasn't an issue one way or the other. It was a bit difficult to back-in to the space but an employee helped us out. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. We found the grounds to be great for walking our dog every day and the river was calming. I'm not sure I'd want to be there when there's a major rainstorm, though. Some of the river frontage spaces looked pretty close if the river rose very much at all. The wi-fi and cable worked for the most part which was good, and can be a bit rare. All in all we enjoyed our stay and extended it for a few days to relax and do some house hunting. It's about 5 miles from the town of Loveland and interstate, and if you go in the opposite direction, you'll be in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park in no time. For that reason, we enjoyed the location of the park, even if it wasn't as close to town as others are. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Again, about 5 miles from Loveland and a few more to Fort Collins. It's about a 45-minute drive to Estes Park and you have to see the Stanley Hotel (the inspiration for Stephen King's hotel in The Shining). Estes Park is a cute little town on it's own and is about 15 more minutes to the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Even in June, there was snow and ice on the ground! Make sure to bring a jacket.

Sadly this park is NOT a nice RV park and we were super disappointed by what we found. It is nothing like the video on their website, it is sandy, muddy, and the WiFi is nonexistent unless you are close to office. The dog park is large but a sandy/dirty mess. It rained during our stay and our dogs were filthy.

I believe this place once was acceptable and it has 'potential' to be again but paving the lot & sites would be a VAST improvement, as well as grass instead of weeds.

The only good thing I can say is that it was close to Estes Park for us. We won't stay again. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground does not have their stuff together, to put it nicely. We stayed on a monthly basis and it was OK to begin with but quickly went downhill after a staff change. We had many days without water or water pressure, horrible Internet, incorrect billing issues, and even trouble getting our mail from the office. We were overcharged on several occasions, even billed for our neighbor's charges! They shut the office down in bad weather even though the staff live in the park. The bathrooms are nasty. I saw the same pubic hairs in the shower for weeks at a time! Many times we discovered our mail was forwarded when we hadn't asked it to be to an address we no longer lived at. There was so much change in staff it was impossible to know who you should talk to in the office, and a few of the ladies in there were not pleasant at all. However, some of the staff was friendly and very helpful. The cable is only 20 channels and several are news channels like C-SPAN, so it was very hard to find something to watch. The phone service is bad and the WiFi is a joke. If it's wet out it's like living in a big mud puddle. When dry it is a bumpy dust bowl. You can't see much at night there is hardly any lights even by the bathrooms. It stinks badly in one area of the park as well. They jack their rates in the summer by several hundred dollars and evict winter tenants instead of allowing them to rent summer spaces. Many old nasty campers are in back of this campground in the permanent area. There is no security and a lot of thefts and vandalism have occurred there, and some happened while we were camped there. Not a good feeling. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This used to be a decent park but not anymore! We needed a place to stay one night on the way home.

We were shocked at how bad it has gotten. Yes, I know they were flooded, but they have had time to clean it up. They have lots of very trashy units there! We had electric and water only and sites were not at all defined. No markers other than a post and you had no idea what was your site. Watched others coming in and they had no idea either.

We watched three rigs come in around us as late as 9:00 pm and they couldn't see their sites at all. Next morning it was almost comical to see how people parked in the dark.

Our site area had NO grass, just fine silt. Dog picked up lots of burrs while walking around park Lots of cigarette butts and other litter.

We couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. Won't be back!!! We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
