Pull thru sites are big in length but electric/sewer are every other lot so neighbors are close. WiFi good, satellite friendly, did not use cable. All roads are dirt so there is some dust, but not any worse than others with dirt roads. North of Estes and Rocky Mountain Nat. Park with a 22 mile/40 minute scenic drive. This campground is much more efficient than other reviews have suggested in my opinion. Fifty amp service, we have a 40' bus and ran two AC's much of the time with no issues. Water pressure was fine however we filled and used on board pressure pump. We've been out for 4 months and the last two in WY., UT., MT., and CO. We are satisfied, good bang for the buck. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Park is easy to get to and easy to get around in. All roads are dirt so lots of dust but they do have a water truck running during the day which helped a lot. All utilities worked will and Wi-Fi was average for a campground. It is on the river and some campers were fishing. They had a musical jam the weekend we were there and they were very good. Staff in office was very helpful and friendly. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is old and needs maintenance, the roads in the park are all dirt and anyone driving on them leaves a large dust cloud. The site we stayed in is very close to the neighbor, both their door and ours open on the same side and their picnic table is about 5' from our door. The fire ring is also about 5' from our rig. There is 50amp power but it is very weak. Started out at 115 volts on each leg and dropped when using power in the coach. So far it has not tripped my EMS. We definitely would look for another park to stay in if we return to this area. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

In nearly 6 years of full time RVing this is the worst RV Park we have stayed in. I don't usually write a bad review because I try to see both sides of the situation. Upon arrival we noticed low water pressure. I inquired at the office and was told they were on a cistern and we just had to wait for it to fill. We opted to operate off of our onboard system and fill it in the off hours. During the hot and crowded weekend low voltage tripped my EMS. The park's excuse was that we were the last site on the line and there was nothing they could do. No one else in the park seemed to be having any problems. On the morning before we were to leave we woke up to no water at all. Again an inquiry at the office produced the response about the cistern. Two hours later there is still no water and through an inquiry to a passing park employee we learned that he had been instructed to stop watering the grass because some guests didn't have water. Some guests implies that others did have water. So much for the cistern theory. By noon it was obvious that we were not going to get our water back so, we opted to leave a day early. We are now 260 miles down the road and everything is back to normal. At a rate that works out to nearly $50/day there is no way that this should have happened. Every excuse for the lack of water and poor electricity was delivered with a smile but, without empathy. There was no offer to move us to a working site even though it was midweek and there were plenty available. This is an old park in an obvious state of decline. The cable doesn't work and Wifi is nearly nonexistent. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Be careful entering and exiting this park. You must cross a bridge over the Big Thompson River that is only wide enough for one vehicle at a time. Justine's Pizza in Loveland has great pizza.

We have stayed here several times mainly because it is in the location we want. It is way too much money for what is there. The park has become very run down with several permanent residents. We used our half-price Passport America and still paid $48 a night. They won't take a reservation for PA so you just have to drive up. Then there are only certain PA sites that might be available. I would only stay here on the nights PA is available. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is dirty. The road surfaces are dirt, and every time a vehicle comes or goes it kicks up a major dust storm. Your vehicle(s) will not stay clean here, and you can't sit outside for long without being assualted by a cloud of dust. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a great RV Park for the summertime. We stayed in a pretty average, interior space (not a river front one), but it wasn't an issue one way or the other. It was a bit difficult to back-in to the space but an employee helped us out. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. We found the grounds to be great for walking our dog every day and the river was calming. I'm not sure I'd want to be there when there's a major rainstorm, though. Some of the river frontage spaces looked pretty close if the river rose very much at all. The wi-fi and cable worked for the most part which was good, and can be a bit rare. All in all we enjoyed our stay and extended it for a few days to relax and do some house hunting. It's about 5 miles from the town of Loveland and interstate, and if you go in the opposite direction, you'll be in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park in no time. For that reason, we enjoyed the location of the park, even if it wasn't as close to town as others are. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Again, about 5 miles from Loveland and a few more to Fort Collins. It's about a 45-minute drive to Estes Park and you have to see the Stanley Hotel (the inspiration for Stephen King's hotel in The Shining). Estes Park is a cute little town on it's own and is about 15 more minutes to the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Even in June, there was snow and ice on the ground! Make sure to bring a jacket.

Sadly this park is NOT a nice RV park and we were super disappointed by what we found. It is nothing like the video on their website, it is sandy, muddy, and the WiFi is nonexistent unless you are close to office. The dog park is large but a sandy/dirty mess. It rained during our stay and our dogs were filthy.

I believe this place once was acceptable and it has 'potential' to be again but paving the lot & sites would be a VAST improvement, as well as grass instead of weeds.

The only good thing I can say is that it was close to Estes Park for us. We won't stay again. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The Loveland/Estes Park area offers many interesting places of interest, shopping and the Rocky Mountain National Park, A must to see! The 'Dam Store' offered a variety of novel items, our tour of Art Castings of Colorado (a bronze statue foundry that creates beautiful art work) was absolutely wonderful! Loveland has many great places to dine as well! We enjoyed our "Rocky Mountain Experience"!

Dusty sandy roads, dirty dirt sites, unkept grounds, not maintained, junk yard for old, dilapidated motor homes and trailers, no visible security, no quality control or site control, very weak wifi except near the pavilion, snowy cable, very tight pull thru's-our slide was 10" from neighbors and 15+miles from freeway. This was a terrible mistake, but we were already pulled into office area and did not know where else to go...glad we were only here 1 night. I asked about river view spots Nd told all taken, even thou there were empty spots- poss the power and cable/ugh was broken. Staff drive very fast in golf carts around the park causing dust storms. Sites are sandy and dirty......glad we left after one night. This park is where you go if you are refused elsewhere.... We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Hard campground to rate. In a word: Fair. Not a whole lot to chose from near Estes Park and Rocky Mountain NP without driving up the mountain. First the positives: Good location, friendly staff, nice pavilion with grass area, entertainment on Friday night which was a nice touch, site on the river, was able to get satellite TV (site 17) but most sites covered with trees. Now the negative: really dusty road, weak water pressure (and the reason the other restrooms and bathhouse at the other end is not open, sites more of a parking lot type versus campsite. Looks like they have been working hard since the 2013 floods but have a long way to go. Washers/dryers good. Looks like place has a lot of help but they don't seem to be doing much. Sites close to each other and neighbor had to break a branch to open his slide. Way too many permanent residents in what looks like the slums -- old RVs and trailers and poorly maintained sites not conducive to a good looking campground. Only get once to make a first impression and we would not stay here again. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Very convenient to Estes Park & Loveland. Our site was a back in right up to the Big Thompson River. AT&T Internet was slow at best. Water pressure was poor and one day stopped completely without warning for repairs but was turned back on within 15 minutes. Park roads were dry & dusty until it rained and then became somewhat muddy in places. Very narrow bridge to park entry. Nice big playground area for kids and several cabins located close to it. The live-insurance seemed to be grouped together. We would stay again due to location. We had full hookups. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We were told by a regular camper that the park opted to expand in size after area flooding several years ago. Riverview can now accommodate more visiters to a popular spot, but the downside is that the park infrastructure cannot accomodate extra rigs. We were provided a fairly level gravel pad for our RV, but the small strip where the picnic table and fire ring were located was a dirt depression which accumulated water each time it rained during our two week stay. Our water pressure was frequently too low to perform daily household tasks such as washing dishes or flushing the toilet. We quickly learned to trickle fill our water tank and use our own water pump. Internet was provided free through Tengo, but barely worked. Cable TV was provided, but half the channels did not work. We were informed this was due to a lightning strike at some point in the past.. It appeared all campers were having trouble making and receiving phone calls -- even those that opted to sit under the picnic pavilion equipped with some type of signal booster. Our Verizon service didn't work at all unless directly clipped into our own signal booster. Staff members at the park were quite friendly, and were willing to loan out a landline phone in the office for emergency use. The park did offer some nice amenities, such as a Saturday morning pancake breakfast hosted as a fundraiser by the local Kiwanis club, and free Saturday night concerts under the picnic pavilion. The grassy playground, horseshoe pit and basketball net were all well utilized by resident campers. This park does recycle. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
