Facility was very clean and quiet even though we were right off the main highway. Laundry and propane were cheaper here than most places we have been. Resort had a swimming pool and hot tub. Did have ice and some souvenirs, but not much in the way of supplies. Area is mostly covered in loose rock so did not get the bicycles out. Difficulty getting level due to site sloping downhill. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The campground is beautiful and clean. The host was excellent and the campground is well organized. The bathrooms were clean and sufficient. Definitely would recommend and stay again. Campground accommodates larger trailers. Wonderful public fire pit. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is all rock, narrow site, picnic table under other sites, slideout not very level, no real good area for dogs, limited cell and wifi. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed six nights and loved it here. Very nice people, very clean bathrooms and showers, many washers and dryers and a nice pool. The only negative are that Wi-Fi really is not good, and only Verizon cell data works somewhat.

The large premium sites are excellent. The sites in the back have a nice view and are pretty quiet. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is practically right outside the national park. Clean. Nice shade trees. Gravel. The downside for us was our picnic table stayed in the sun so we didn't use it. Even putting out an awning wouldn't have given us a place to sit in shade. Unlucky draw of sites. Most sites had shaded tables though. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but some folks did and they looked nice. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We called and were booked the same day. The staff was very helpful and guided us to our site. No deposit was required to hold our site, we paid in full upon arrival. We would stay here again. They are located just outside Mesa Verde NP. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall this is a nice place, but when when an RV park calls itself a "resort", I expect excellence. The pool was nice and clean; the hot tub the same. The laundry room was very good as well. The part that kept me from giving the park higher than a 7 rating was that WiFi is advertised, but there's no throughput. You can connect to the WiFi, but significant data doesn't move...even late at night or near the office. The sites are also very close together. The sites (in the section that I was in) were so short that it was not possible to hitch up in a straight line with the trailer. Parking was interesting upon disconnection. I needed to use all of my leveling blocks in order to level the trailer and put down the stabilizers. Overall, the location is on a main road and has easy access to Mesa Verde Natl Park. If I went again I would pay for a premium site that is longer and flatter. But at a "resort" park, I expect all sites to be level and have enough room to disconnect and park easily. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice campground with gravel roads and pads. We had a premium pull-through site that was very long and wide. Our section had no tall trees to interfere with satellite, and the wifi worked well for us. The park is 5 minutes from the Mesa Verde National Park entrance, and it's about 8 miles from local shopping. We would stay here again if in the area. Restrooms and showers very clean. No cell service, and wifi does not work well, used my hotspot. No cable, but got several stations on our new super antenna. Gravel roads were noisy, but not a problem due to not much traffic around park. Staff was nice and helpful, but do close at 5. Sites fairly level, just had to use 1 or 2 blocks to level. Nice laundry room. Close enough to Durango to take Silverton train and shopping/dining. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Our site was in the rear of the campground and we had a nice view. We watched the cattle come in every evening. This campground is directly across from Mesa Verde and very convenient to Cortez, which has many shops and restaurants. The laundry facility was super clean. All the utilities worked fine. Okay place to stay and visit Mesa Verde. They have about 6 long gravel pretty level "premium" full hook up 50 amp sites, others are a little tighter and shaded. Has a pool and small store however they close at 5:00 ON THE DOT. Most campgrounds near National Parks are open more hours. Signs are not lit make finding it in the dark a trip. WIFI is non existent and no cell data service. Must have satellite for TV. No fires, again, this is for park visitors expecting to "camp". Probably stay somewhere else next time. We stayed in a the large pull through that could accommodate very large rigs (80 feet plus) with tow. They were terraced up a hillside, gravel, and very level. Several people were leaving the day we arrived after being there for several months. The sites down the hill were shaded and ample size as well. The park provided community grill site with heat units, two hot tubs, and a nice pool area. A small convenience store was on site. Wi Fi was being worked on when we were there. This park is 1/4 mile from the Visitor Center of Mesa Verde. The two towns on either side provide nice places to eat and shop. The park sits on a busy road and road noise can be heard, although it did not hinder our activities. This park was very clean. We will return. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pretty remote park. Closest town of any size is Cortez about 6 miles away. There really isn't anything in the town of Mancos. The bathrooms are NEW and VERY nice for an RV park. The biggest problem was the noise from any vehicles driving on the base rock surface that covers the entire park. No vehicles driving around, then it's nice and quiet. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 4 days in October. Staff was very nice. We were put in the back next to a large open area very suitable for exercising our dog. Sites are large, clean and seem to be level. We had a great time there being only 1 mile from the Mesa Verde visitor center, 6 miles from Cortez and 7 miles from Mancos. Near the end of our stay I tried to get morning news on the over air TV, but being between several shade trees we could only get one channel. If TV is important to you I would discuss it with the staff before you setup. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mesa Verde is the big draw in the area, but there are numerous archaeological sites, museums and galleries in the area. It's only 50 miles from the 4 corners, where New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona meet.
