This park was just a big gravel lot. Spaces are very close and our table was right next to the sewer connections of our neighbor. Everything in the park was nice and very well maintained. We paid for a premium space, but it wasn't all that much different than other spaces except for backing up to the river. There were many big rigs here because the driving areas are spacious and easy to maneuver around. Walking distance to the city so no car is necessary. There is a small restaurant on the grounds but we didn't go there. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Service, service, service. Clean restrooms, clean Park, great location! We messed up our reservation and they bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. Owners Jason and Amber are hands on and it shows in the details and customer service.

Our space was double wide against the river. Full service with 50 amp power, water and sewer. The entire park is crushed rock, minimal dust, and out site was level. Our space was against the river, but the view is obstructed by the mound behind the Airstream trailer. It might be better for larger RV's or 5th wheels

Check in was quick and east. My receipt was emailed and a paper copy provided as well. Jason directed us to our site and guided us into the space. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

My stay was a very good one, camp staff greeted me with professionalism and a warm welcome. They were always ready to assist and help me with any concerns I might have. The site was quiet at night with easy access to any of the facilities such as, restaurant, showers, bathroom, laundry room and rec-room. The town of Ouray is just a minute drive from the site with lots of activity and things to do for all ages... day or night. I recommend this campsite site for anyone because of it's family-friendly atmosphere. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Truck Camper.

We liked this park a lot. Easy to get around in our 41" MH. All gravel lot and our site was not very level. We had to use blocks to try and get level. Great views of the mountains!! The staff at the park is very friendly and helpful. The laundry room is huge with lots of big machines and very clean. Kinda close to your neighbor but there is enough room to set up a chair, bbq, etc. Nice 1.5 mile walk way around the creek behind the RV park. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed in this park. The pull-thru sites have plenty of space for big rig + tow. Accessibility for maneuvering is excellent. Very dog friendly. No dog park, but you can walk your dog on river walk right behind the park. Internet is fair to good (a little better than the average RV park). Having a restaurant right on the premises is an extra bonus. Only ate breakfast there, but the food was good and plentiful. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a path along the river right behind the RV park. You can walk that path all the way into town, if you like. We towed a Jeep Rubicon. You'll find some of the best Jeeping trails anywhere around Ouray.

This is one of the BEST RV parks that we have ever stayed in! The facilities are very clean, the laundry room is fantastic with new machines and the owners are AMAZING! Out of all of the places we ate in Ouray, the restaurant at the RV park had the best food by far. The newly remodeled game room offers families a chance to have good old fashioned fun together. We will be going back again soon. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Cabin was just as expected, staff was friendly and accommodating. Owners greeted us upon arrival, visited with us during dinner and were really caring about the property. We called before arrival to inquire if they had any air mattresses for our teenage boy. They did not, but phone reservationist offered to bring us her own from home. Upon check out we mentioned a loose step on the porch and maintenance immediately came to fix it. We suggested a light at the walkway to the cabin (other 3 cabins had one, but cabin A did not). Maintenance immediately called owner, who was at Home Depot, and requested he pick up a solar light for the walkway. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Cabin.

This RV Park is fabulous! Close to downtown. The owners are very involved & responsive. Sites are gravel, very level. The staff are very friendly & always ready to help! Park is very clean. Bathroom, showers are excellent! Laundry is great! The park also has a restaurant with really good food. This is the second year we have visited Ouray & stayed here. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Ouray! It was great to see the same staff this year. It was also great that the staff remembered us! Great location and amazing views from all around the park. Our site backed up to the river, but was a bit narrow when the neighbor showed up. There are wider riverfront sites which would be our preference for next time. Staff are extremely helpful and are genuinely interested in making sure you have a good time and your stay is fun. I was amazed that no matter the time you arrive, someone from the staff will come to greet you and show you to your site. Parking assistance is available should you need/want it. The onsite cafe is great and the city's hot springs pool complex is a short riverfront walk away. I only wish the park were a bit more than just gravel. There are a few trees on south side of the park. However, the rest is open and all gravel. Upside is that maneuvering is easy, even for the largest of rigs. We will definitely come back. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Very nice park for our 3-day stay. No water available at sites during April but a full station is available which we utilized. Close to downtown Ouray and within walking distance of the Hot Springs - about 1/4 mile walk along the Uncomprahgre River. It was still the off-season so there were only a few campers. Onsite restaurant is open Friday thru Sunday. The views from the park are amazing!! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again if we're back this way. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy drives to both Silverton and Ridgway. Being April, most shops and stores are still closed but pubs and restaurants are open. The Hot Spring in Ouray is something you have to do. Five large pools of varying temps make it easy to pick one you like and you can stay all day if you like. Very beautiful area to spend a week or longer.

Tips for other Campers:

This RV park does not have an air compressor on site. One would think with all the off road vehicles that stay here they would offer a simple air compressor for airing up of tires Some may think this is minor but this is something I expect and surprised it was not there.

We arrived late and found our papers in the box on the front of the office with a map highlighting our site. Getting to our site in the dark was a little challenging but we had enough room to back in. We had reserved a premium riverside site, we were glad we did, our site wasnt big but we had more space than the other sites did. The town river trail runs behind the rv park, it was nice having access to it, our grands that were with us, used it everyday. Campfires arent allowed in this park which was disappointing. The campsites are gravel with a picnic table only. Each utility post has a light on it (which weren't working the night we pulled in) we had to cover our windows at night to keep the bright light out. We didn't use any of the facilities during our stay. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

This is a great park if you want to be very close to Ouray. The best thing going for the park is its location, just a mile from the main part of town. It's a quick drive to get there, or you can walk along the riverwalk trail which runs right along the RV Park. The park is also right along the Uncompahgre River. The views from the park are wonderful, though the tall mountains to the east mean that you won't see the sun until two hours later than official sunrise! The free WiFi worked quite well, Verizon worked well, but AT&T data was very slow. The park is on the expensive side (we paid $54/night after tax), and is mostly just a gravel lot with hookups with very little in the way of landscaping. It's also fairly noisy since it's right on Highway 550. We might stay again, but would try to find something a little less expensive nearby first. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.
