Gravel sites, very close together. Our site 34, had no shade or tree(s). Laundry fees were outrageous- $8 to wash/dry 2 loads and no folding table. Hot tub was only available to motel guests. Good location and quiet. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park and the staff was diligently working throughout our visit. They were picking up pine cones, mowing the grass, and very attentive to our needs, although we didn't have any big ones. Every night, the deer would roam through the north-side of the park. It was relatively quiet. We had 4G/LTE on AT&T, which was good since the wifi was quite poor. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to get a spot in the 20's that backs to open space. That is where the deer are during the morning and evening. It provides a lot of privacy. Also, do the four mile creek falls hike. And, if you plan to trail run or mountain bike, Turkey Springs trail system is just a few minutes away.

WE really enjoyed this quite wooded RV park. The campground was immaculate, the showers, laundry, restrooms were spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. Most site had partial shade, a few did not not. The sites were spacious and most were long, easily handling the largest rigs. Downtown Pagosa was minutes away and all stores were also minutes away. We were here in the later part of May and he weather was perfect. I would definitely return to this RV park again. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were blown away by the wildlife that we could see out our back window at the Mountain Landings Suites and RV Park in Pagosa Springs Colorado. Both GPS devices brought us right to the park. The gal at checkin was friendly and had a great recommendation for food at Marconi's which we tried that night and once more for lunch. The park roads and sites are gravel. We had a backin this time and shock of all shocks we did it like champs. The hookups were convenient. The Verizon phone coverage was pretty good but the Verizon 4g was very spotty and slow most of the times with frequent shifts to 3g. We found that to be the case in town also. The park wifi was a little better than the Verizon 4g so we used that most of the week. Although there were trees we had called ahead to make sure we got a satellite friendly site and we ended up with a great line of sight for our roof mounted dish. We had a so so week weather wise but the wildlife out our back window more than made up of that. Pagosa Springs is such a great area we would probably visit again. If we did we would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I don't recall if the price included a discount, but we thought it was a bit expensive. This park closes at the end of October for the season. The park is big rig friendly, easy in/out. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Sites are nicely spaced and large, and there are spaces that would accommodate the largest rig. Interior roads and sites are hard packed gravel. There are pine trees throughout the park, but they don't interfere with parking. Our site was level. There are a couple of shelves near the storage facility that have leveling blocks available, if they're needed. There is a fenced dog area. It was nice to see deer roaming through the park. It was a slow time when we were there, but we did notice that when other RVs arrived they weren't assigned a space right next to another RV. Although the sites are nicely spaced, it was nice to have sites around us empty so that we could enjoy the view. We didn't check out the restrooms or laundry. There was a picnic table at each site, but no fire rings since the park is in the city limits and fires are not allowed. There is a car/RV wash in town. Verizon data was extremely slow. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflects a monthly rate of $600 plus about $70 for electricity (.15/kwh). I think this is the absolute best rv park in Pagosa Springs. The sites are really spacious with large pine trees scattered throughout the park. And the restrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen...absolutely pristine. We stayed in site #2 which was ideal with a large tree for afternoon shade yet open enough for satellite reception. The site was also huge. This park is located on the west side of town near Walmart, City Market and lots of restaurants. It is maybe 1/3 of a mile from Hwy. 160, so the location can't be beat. For those of you who have a dog you need to walk late at night/early in the morning: watch out for skunks. I saw one almost every night and three together on one occasion. One more thing: the sites are big and plenty long; however, they could be a little more level. Also the hookups are pretty far forward. But overall this is an excellent rv park that I highly recommend. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park, wide road and sites very easy for any size rig to maneuver. Many of the sites are taken in the summer by seasonal visitors so for June-August early reservations are a must, although a few sites are always left open for stopovers.

The only RV park in Pagosa Springs that is not directly on US 160, which is a very busy highway.

Due to local law no open fires are allowed anywhere within Pagosa Springs town limits. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park, no special amenities, but easy to get to and easy to get around in with nice wide roads. The spaces are well sized and have good separation from each other with plenty of room for our 33' TT and the truck. All the spaces appeared to be back in, but the roads are so wide that there was plenty of room to make it easy. Kind of expensive, but such a nice park that we would plan on staying here again, if we were to come back to the area. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were a little surprised how nice this campground was. I think that many of their sites are being used by seasonal people leaving only a few sites for those who want to stay a couple of days.

The interior roads and sites were on crushed gravel. Some of the sites were level while others were not. The utilities were situated on the correct side. The electrical box contained 20/30/50 amp service. The voltage was a little low - hovering around 117. Every site had a picnic table but no fire rings (as per city ordainments).

They have (3) "dry" sites. Their terminology for "dry" was very confusing. According to the park manager "dry" means water and electric but no sewer. This is not what most RVer's would call "dry". There is a dump station located at the entrance to the park.

There were two bathrooms - one at the entrance and the other in the back. The one in the front had one very large shower per gender. The one the back had 3 showers per gender. Both bathrooms were very clean and appealing.

This campground had WiFi but we did not use it. Verizon air card and cell phone reception was good.

There was a Jacuzzi but it was not working during our stay. Coin operated laundry @ $2 for washer and $2 for the dryer was available.

Pagosa Springs was about 2 miles away. It was very quiet and peaceful at night.

Mountain Landing RV was pricey but this is a tourist town.

We would come back this park if we were in the area. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice quiet small park, however they have a rec. room and a swim spa which can only be used for cabin rentals. The manager told us the rec. room and spa are to small to be used by both. The rv park is small and the cabin rentals even smaller. The five days we were their we never saw anyone using the swim spa or rec. room.We were very disappointed and will not return. Wide spaces in the back row. Quiet, friendly guests. All gravel with a few grassy areas in between. Backs up to meadow with occasional deer. Bathrooms very clean, but the one in back didn't have private changing areas in the showers. Rarely used by others- mostly big rigs here. Great location near town. Wifi didn't work well in back spaces. No campfires allowed since in city. Nice place to stay for nearby adventures but not a "destination" campground. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Price a little steep at $45 with taxes, but pretty nice newer park with many sites having quite a bit of space...well, for an RV park. They were doing construction on a new recreation building making a lot of noise from 8-5. (We were right next to it, so other areas might not have been that bad.) Otherwise, very quiet. It's about 1/2 mile from the main hwy, so very little street noise. About a few miles to the old town, but the newer part of town is right down the street, with restaurants, grocery store, etc. We had a little trouble getting our 3 satellites with our Dish Network, since there are scattered large pine trees around. Wi-Fi was fast, but we were the closest site to the repeater. Verizon signal strong. Lots of big rigs here and several seasonals. Everyone was very nice. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very expensive for a basic electric pitch with sewer for 2 people. Poor wifi signal and no cab;e TV which I would expect at this price. Surprised to see that they change an extra $10 for every extra person aged over 6yrs. That really would make this an expensive place to stay! Nicely laid out and deer walk through the park, although it is a bit muddy. Park is about 2 mile from the center of Pagosa Springs where the main 'hot spring' resorts are. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a new park. It might be a work in progress or at least we hope it is. The positive points are: Friendly desk attendant, excellent laundry, showers, small rec room plus an indoor exercise pool, all new and clean. Excellent Wi-Fi too. The park was muddy and most spaces had ruts from ATVs and rain. Little upkeep seemed too be going on. We would not stay here again unless the road to the spaces and the spaces receive a better surface. We stayed two nights. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
