We stayed for a week in this great national forest campground. It is a solid 20 miles north of Pagosa Springs, the first 10 is very bumpy on pavement. Once you leave the pavement it is much easier traveling. If you love being out of touch, but close enough to town you will love this campground. Sportsman campground about halfway had a great store and helpful info on local fishing hotspots. This is a dry camp situation with potable water in site. The camp host was awesome and took great care of the camp and open pit toilets. We camped at Teal - Williams Creek Reservoir in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
