Super all around EXCEPT gravel sites in wet snow created mucho mud which is a pain. Staff very pleasant. Close to great BBQ and True Value hardware(1.5 miles) We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

BBQ and Pueblo!

The staff were very friendly and we even got a choice of a cookie when we checked in. We were escorted to our spot and the escort was very helpful while we best located our trailer in the spot. A little mowing was in order but they may not have been able to if there was recent rains. Frankly, I would have rated this park much higher had it not been for an obviously long term park resident. I would post a picture if I could. There was a Hitchhiker parked behind us that would surprise me if it was road worthy. It was covered in mold stains, the front compartment door was rotted out, there were no fender skirts on the wheels. In short it was an EYESORE! It spoiled an otherwise awesome view of beautiful Colorado mountains. Were I to stay there again I think I would look at my spot before accepting it. Had I done that and not had the view we had, I may have enjoyed it more. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We always stay here overnight going north and south. Very good sites, great staff, good wi-fi and good BBQ in walking distance. The gas station by the BBQ has very reasonable gas and diesel (cheaper than the "big" guys). Call ahead or reserve this year - they are busier than usual. If you have KOA Rewards be sure to tell them when you reserve - their system would not accept them when I arrived because I had already paid for the night in advance. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Easy on/off I-25N. Big rig gas station with diesel and a great BBQ restaurant/bar at the corner within easy walking distance if you don't want to unhook. There's two fenced Kamp K9 areas, clean and secure, spaces long and fairly level, Wi-Fi is so so. Pool and adults-only enclosed hot tub we didn't use. Office staff very friendly with warm cookies on check in. The store is well stocked with necessities and souvenirs. There's mini golf, a nice playground, and lots of green space. We would return here again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We only overnighted here but this could be a great destination for a few days. Great view of the mountains to the west.

Sites are just long enough for big rig and good width with grass. Although not the most level, level enough. Utilities worked but water pressure only at 30 psi. Easy in/out off of I25. Friendly, helpful, flexible staff. Very nice facility. Fuel just up the street. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Fuel just up the street. BBQ restaurant just up the street has good food and cheap beer.

Of all the KOA's we have visited scross the country this is our favorite. Unlike many KOA's, this one is clean, neat, pleasantly situated and reasonably priced. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. Because we do not usually unhook the toad, they even drive us up the road to get BBQ (you can also walk in good weather..not far). Good satellite and WiFi. And slightly cheaper rates "off-season". We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Very good BBQ just back up the road across from the service station. They do not deliver.

Just stayed overnight on a trip up 25 due to the convenience and decent reviews. This is actually a bit distant from Pueblo so if your desire is to explore there...I'd find someplace closer. If just a layover it is a fine stop especially with kids and the cable choices and wifi are excellent. Staff was welcoming and efficient and the park is clean and well cared for. Would stop here again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Really nice for a KOA. The main access road is asphalt with good width. Interior roads are gravel. Gravel sites somewhat on the narrow side, but mostly level. Lots of trees and grass with nice places to sit in the shade. Campground appears to be well maintained. There was slight highway noise. Power ok (but did not load it), did not use water or sewer - campground claimed 40psi on water. Wifi was annoying - repeated logons required in some cases multiple times in an hour. Adequate speed in the day, usual crawl in the evening. Verizon was 3g with 3 bars and sluggish speed. Satellite access is iffy for fixed dishes. No recycle on site. We would probably stay here again, but not for an extended time. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were offered welcome cookies and were told if we wanted a ride to the restaurant up the street, they would drive us, so we didn't have to unhook. Just stayed overnight and it was a good location, however, it is not that close to Pueblo as you might think by the name. Very well kept property. Open enough for satellite but trees too. Our dog loved the grass dog park. There are 2 but one had dogs the other was empty. Thought it was a little overpriced for the location and amenities but that's KOA. Would stay here again overnight. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA has a breathtaking view! Easy entrance/exit, interior dirt/gravel roads wide and easy to drive. Spaces are long and adequately wide, with grass in-between. WiFi and cable both very good, sat setup good. The main thing, though, is that view. It's incredible. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice grassy pull thru so we did't have to unhook, with all utilities in good order. Clear sky for sat and nice spacing. Not too far from I25, but no road noise. The staff was very friendly and we were escorted to the site. The office staff gave us fresh cookies upon arrival. Beautiful view of the still snow covered mountains to the east. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first visit to the park. The travel book indicates a "10" rating across the board. The park is very clean and the staff was great. The sites are semi-level gravel and too narrow for my taste. The view of the valley from our site was great. There are two restaurants and a golf course within five minutes of the park. We did not try the Wi-Fi, cable, or satellite signal. Oh, one more item. They have bull SNAKES in the park. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Our group camped here for 3 days. Staff and owners go out of their way to be helpful. Excellent campground with level sites. Fantastic rec hall for group use which is important to our group as we eat meals together. We had to change dates unexpectedly, and the owners worked with us and were very accommodating. We plan to return again next year. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

The CG is very easy to access on and off the highway. The owner was working in the office the day we arrived and he could not have been nicer or more friendly. We even got a complementary cookie because it was our first stay and then he escorted us to our site and helped us get parked. Internal roads and sites are gravel with grass between and for the most part level, there is a comfortable amount of space between sites Hook-ups are well located and easy to access, Wi-fi was a bit slow and cable was fine. We drive a 44ft MH with a tow and were able to fit into the pull-through with car attached. Although the park seems close to the road, it was quiet and scenic. Nice little dog area - not huge but enough to let our dog wander around a bit. We would stay here again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.
