We stayed here a week. Very nice campground. Satellite friendly sites and treed sites. Very good wifi. Park has cable. Sites level. Interior road easy for class A. Tent sites and cabins. FHU's in good order mid-rear of site. Sites are level, packed gravel, as are the roads. Good Verizon and T-Mobile signals. Park personnel very nice and efficient. Escort to site. Small well stocked camp store with food. Very quiet park. Far enough off interstate not to hear the noise, but easy to find. Good gas station with RV gas/diesel pump on road to campground. Many grass areas for rover. Nice pool and hot tub. Playground, horseshoes etc. Would consider reservations here. Rear sites are the longest. Only minus would be there is only one trash container near office. Would stay here again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Our biggest issue is the park claiming they are in South Pueblo. This park is in Colorado City, which is 20 miles south of the southern part of Pueblo. They really need to take "Pueblo South" out of their name. This park is very easy to get to from the highway and would be a great overnight stop. We stayed there for 4 nights. The roads are easy to navigate. There are long pull through sites in the right back part of the park. The sites are open and easy in and out. They have great satellite reception. The wifi was good. They have a very nice pool. There is also a hot tub that we did not try. They have a miniature golf course that you can play for a small fee. They have a fences in dog run with some agility equipment in it. Colorado City is a small town. We enjoyed running/walking around a lake that is about 4 miles from the park. We would come back for an overnight stay but if visiting Pueblo, we would look for a place that is closer. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Another hidden gem. Everyone was cheerful and is very conscientious of the park. Nice level pull thru with easy hookups. Grassy strip and picnic table. Park has putt-putt golf, horseshoes, children's play area, dog park, pool, gym, nice camp store and laundry. WiFi is very strong. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here before and will do so again when we are in the area. Our 50amp pull thru was level, long and all utilities worked well. Although you can see I25, there is little road noise and is quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and escorted us to our site. There is grass between sites and a picnic table. The park is located south of Pueblo, but fuel and restaurants are available near the park. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We were at Pueblo South KOA for an NRVIA Advanced RV Inspectors Training class. We stayed a week at a group rate. The owner and office manager were most helpful in making our stay enjoyable for us and our fellow inspectors! We had a site on the end of a row with a beautiful view of the southwest view of the mountain range. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Park was neat and clean. Staff was efficient and helpful. $50 for a barely adequate pull through and 30 amp service seemed high. Park was relatively quiet with a little bit of freeway noise. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

There are expectations when you stay in a KOA and this one met them all. Friendly folks at check in (even gave me free cookies), good utilities including cable and WiFi, plenty of activities like playgrounds, pool, mini golf, a fish pond where you can feed the Koi. Gravel roads and pads in good shape, decent spacing between with some grass between sites, easy access and plenty of room for maneuvering. Quiet at night despite being close to the highway. There are roomy gas stations at the highway exit and a barbecue restaurant if you don't feel like cooking. Can't ask for more. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This KOA is right off I-25 at exit 74 on the eastside of the interstate. It is incredibly quiet (no freeway noise) even though you can see the freeway. The views are spectacular. We were in E-4 and sat outside our 5'er and soaked in the views of rolling hills and majestic mountains to the west. The entrance is paved up until the interior roads which are gravel and wide enough to get big rigs around. Fairly new small stone interior roads (no dust) and sites. Sites are long, wide, though not terribly spacious, but the key here is GRASS (real grass, not weeds). Hookups are well positioned, modern. Cable TV is excellent with lots of channels and for once, lots of digital channels as well. WiFi is EXCELLENT - which is a rarity. This is a quiet park, not a lot of noise. Staff is very present. In fact, one staffer was weed eating around the hookups and graciously asked if he was disturbing us (he wasn't). One thing he noticed is that our neighbors sewer hookup was a bit askew and as he continued weed eating, he FIXED the sewer connection! Touches like this make a RV park well worth the visit again and again. Check-in staff was very friendly and you get cookies! They weren't quite ready when we checked, so she told us to come back - we did, they were great! Offered us the local paper, and local food options close-by. This is again a nice park and one we would visit again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We are not loyal to KOA's, but this is by far the best we've found even for their standard and near the top of all of our camping experiences. But first just the facts. Easy off and on I-25. The park roads and sites are paved/gravel and level with some concrete patios. Road layout makes it easy maneuvering in a big rig. Sites range in width, but most are adequate to park beside the camper and grass buffers. Every utility and connection is conveniently located and are up to spec. Everything worked! No surprises and lots of entertainment for kids. Facilities, grounds, recreations and luxuries were clean and maintained. Neighbors were friendly, but the staff was beyond exceptional.

The owner, lives on site and should be proud of his park. He moved us into a cabin, kept our food refrigerated and generally gave us confidence when we had mechanical problems with our camper. All other staff were just as friendly and accommodating and escort you to your site. Park fills nightly and stays about 1/2 full. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Motorhome.

Great campground, friendly staff we were escorted to site by owner and he made sure we were happy with site and offered any assistance we may need. We had an easy pull thru site with full hook up, cable TV and great WIFI. The sites are level, gravel and plenty of room to park our truck. We camped in a 39' 5th wheel. Would definitely come back if we were in this area. The views of the mountains from the campground is fantastic. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
