If you’re looking for the gang, this RV park is for you. You won’t have to look far because the next trailer will be within a few inches of your front door. No lie, I measured from the edge of my awning to the sewer drain of the next pad and it was 30 inches. I didn’t drive to the mountains just to pack like a sardine into a park space so tight that I could pass the soap to the person in the next RV. The front desk folks were nice enough and check in was painless. They gave me no instructions as to where the dumpster was located or how to get down to the only attraction (the river), but they did tell me to keep it quiet after 10 p.m. and to check out the live band (that went well beyond 10 p.m.!) at the lounge. This place is for sale (no surprise there) and I’m not sure what they’ll do with the hordes of permanent residents. If the new owner is smart he’ll class up the place by moving all of the skirted heaps off the property and doubling the size of the spaces. Great location, trashy park. We camped at Glen Echo Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
