We stayed in this campground fall of 2018 in a 40ft 5th wheel and satellite+plenty of space for tow; full hook up with free hot showers and coin laundry on site. Was offered free WiFi voucher but cell signal was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful - will be back if passing by on 70 again. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped for an overnight. The park is small but we had enough space. However, it is located near agricultural driers and they ran the driers overnight and they were very loud. I thought it was a train at first but it just kept roaring - like a jet engine. I did not get a good night's sleep. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice, clean, small park, gravel sites, in a quiet small town neighborhood. It is divided in half by the office, so full timers (only a few) are separate from short stay campers. Owners are friendly, very helpful, and very appreciative of us "choosing to stay with them"! No dog park, but the surrounding area conducive to dog walking. It is close to I-70, can hear traffic with windows closed (August so AC in use), but we don't mind it. There is not a lot of traffic in that area anyway. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Hard working young couple new owners of this small park. Town is almost a ghost town. Weird hook up locations - water on one side, electric on the other side. Sewer hook-up hard to see. Long pull-thrus - fairly level. Wifi worked good but no cable and no over the air TV. A hail storm had come thru the town the night before we arrived and everyone was working hard to clean up the park and the streets of debris. Sites not numbered! We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Just off I-70, Seibert is a tiny town with a railroad and grain elevators. The bridge connecting it to I-70 is presently being rebuilt so going West to East, you have to go East to the next cross over bridge and return West. Leaving Seibert take US 24 just North out of town going east and at Vona return to I-70 to go East. Shady Grove is a small but very neat well kept CG run by a pleasant young couple. The sites were gravel with chip wood paths between, and a small white very clean bathhouse with hot shower and laundry, and their nice house, separating a south transient section and a north long stay area. Lots of trees. This is a very nice overnite CG along the great plains of Colorado. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Thank you for the kind review! The bridge is now fixed so the detour is no longer necessary, which will make it a lot easier next time you visit! :)

New owners are young, (how rare) and nice and more helpful than almost any park I have been to. They help everyone park. Stay here. No frills just nice clean park with all pull throughs!? Full hookups and professional, nice hosts who are learning and improving. And they have a goat to mow the grass! We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

The owners go out of their way to keep their place nice and RVers happy. The sites have a nice coat of gravel and they are level. Utilities were good. Most sites have nice shade and we got satellite reception. This is a very small town (approximately 200 people), and the campground is in a neighborhood which makes it unique. It is a short distance from interstate but no road noise. The normal Eastbound exit is down due to bridge reconstruction. However, just take the next exit and loop back. BTW a nice 50's style diner is 1 exit west (I-70 Diner). The food was pretty good and a nice experience. The $30 included tax and a GS discount. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a perfect overnight stay campground. Full hookups, pretty level sites and plenty of room between sites. The WiFi is free and works pretty good, a little drop out but hey, it's free! And the rate is 27 dollars with the Good Sam discount. I do not think you will find a better value. It is not a week long stay campground, but is perfect for an overnight. The owners were both helpful and friendly. There is a long term section which is separated from the short stay area by the office buildings. I like that. We would stay here again. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Definitely NOT a 4 STAR. Two stars maybe. Gravel pads barely wide enough for RV, using shared electric and water pedestals, so every other vehicle is head to toe. I asked for a level site and was given an unlevel one at the back of the park next to a busy dirt and gravel road. No WiFi coverage. Got moved to a closer one we chose, it was level. Wifi came and went. No over the air TV, no cable TV. Only one shower each for men and women which included the only toilet for each. No, it was not quiet, lots of road noise. Dump pipes are covered with a brick, not a cap. Are the owners nice? You bet very nice, but that by itself does not get you a 4 star rating. All that said, would we stay again, yes, just know that it is a 2 star park. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

What a nice RV park. Owners have done a fantastic job of renovating this park into a great place to stay, perfect for an overnight or longer. Quiet and clean. Large, level 50 amp pull throughs, water and sewer and a picnic table! $30 with Good Sam discount, weekly and monthly rates too. Very nice owners, free wifi!!! Perfect stopover. We camped in a 42ft 5th wheel toyhauler. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a smaller, older park in an old farm town. Arrive with everything you need. The owners live onsite and are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! There are some tight turns and spots, so use your senses and mirrors! This is a great spot to camp in eastern Colorado! Water, sewer, and electrical are well located. The only complaint - it seems that travelers and long-termers are not asked to pick up their "dog poo". There seemed to be quite a bit in the sites and along the walk areas. The owners seem to be quite young and are trying to do a wonderful job! Just give them some time! We will definitely return! We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Seibert is an old farm town that is slowly dying. There is a small grocery store, but try to arrive with everything you will need during your stay. Everyone is very friendly. There is a C-store and gas station across I-70.

This is our kind of park - no amenities that we don't need but everything we do and all for a very reasonable price. Sites are very level gravel with either grass or well-maintained wood chips between them. We didn't have room to park in front of the camper but had plenty of space beside it. All utilities worked well and we paid $3 extra for 50-amp service. Owner lives on-site and couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. They gave us the option of an open site for better wi-fi or a shady spot and we chose the open space and the wi-fi worked well. There is no cable and we weren't able to pull in any channels through the antenna but that's why we carry DVDs. There were a couple of semi-permanent camps that could have used some TLC but they weren't awful. The laundry only had one washer and dryer and looked clean. It's far enough off the interstate that we didn't notice any traffic noise. The dirt/gravel road going to the park was rather rough, but it was only a couple of hundred yards long so wasn't an issue. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a small convenience store/restaurant across the interstate that has very good and very reasonable food plus great fuel prices. We ate there several times and can highly recommend it. Other than this, it's either 30 minutes east or 45 minutes west for food.

Close to interstate but far enough away not to hear noise 2 blocks off paved road but smooth gravel roads. Passport America require a 2 night stay which we only needed one overnight but they recognized GS. The owners were very nice and showed us to our site. FHUs 50 amp & good wifi, on level site for our 40' MH with some shade but not crowded and we did not unhook our toad. This is what we desire for a overnight with a reasonable price. Easy pull in and out We would come back. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.
