Neat small park with many group activities and good people, both staff and guests. Super clean and well cared for. The only drawback is the sites are a little close and not near enough shade trees. The rate quoted is a monthly rate. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a large gravel parking lot. There are a few shaded spaces but they are taken by the regulars that come here every year. The wifi did not work most of the time. No OTA or cable tv. One reviewer said that there was a store. There is nothing there that resembles a store. The office is a 10 X 10 building that sells t-shirts. The new owners are trying to improve the park but the day to day activities in the park appear to be dictated by the long term guests. Good place for an overnight stop. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for a month which is why it is $12. The power is really great and so is the water pressure. WiFi was good most of the time. Pretty level spots. There was dinners lots of time in the rec hall which was good and nice. Bring your dish to share. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good park for a base camp. Convenient to the 2 area highways. Utilities worked fine although some are inconvenient (had to lead water hose under trailer). WiFi was very good. Site was level. Many seasonals from Texas and Oklahoma who have come year after year. Activities and potlucks. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearest Walmart are 40-50 miles. Local grocery story has a good selection and, as expected, higher prices. One fuel station. Restaurants are OK unless you see hamburgers as gourmet food. Ramon's has mildly spiced Mexican fare. Many forest service roads to drive into the mountains.

This was our first time in South Fork Colorado. We have been through here when we stay at Creede. This is a nice park easy to get to right off of 149. The spaces are well laid out. When you back into your site you must put your passenger side tires on the line. This designates your site. By doing this you should have plenty of room for your slides and awning. The views are not as grandeur as Creede's are but there are mountain views from some of the spaces. The WIFI here is awesome! There is no over the air TV. This is a good destination park. Price indicates monthly stay with our son. We will return when coming to this area. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fishing on the Rio Grande is great. Bachelor loop in Creede is a nice drive. If you like to 4 wheel there are many trails up here.

Great group of people. Many seasonal campers have been here many years. Cookouts and cowboy breakfast. Walking distance to local church. Quiet and comfortable. Recent new owners have made many improvements. Greta base-camp for sightseeing or off-road atv, etc. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of things to do. Hunters in the fall, atv riding with the group all summer , and narrow gauge train rides not too far away. Nearest Walmart 35 miles, with local food and hardware stores right in town. I give this park an A+++++ rating.

Ultra friendly hosts. Good wifi. Was able to stream shows without too much lag. Very few RVers so that might have something to do with the good wifi speeds. Good water pressure. Back in sites are about 45' long and wide enough to park my truck next to my coach. Park is right on Rt 149, but the road didn't have much use during our stay so it was pretty quiet. No fenced dog run, but there is a quiet neighborhood across the tracks to walk dogs on a leash. Remember your plastic bags, please. Zero over the air tv. The beautiful mountains must block the tv signals. All the RV parks in South Fork look pretty much the same (gravel lots). Considering this is the only park in South Fork that has no Passport America restrictions, I would stay here if staying in South Fork again. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A ride on the Denver and Rio Grande Scenic Rail Road made for a relaxing day. The train station is within walking distance of the park. It is a one-car "bus", not a train car Take a blanket if it is cold. Rt 160 and Rt 149 into the mountains are very good motorcycling roads. Most of the forest service roads were still closed at the end of May so Jeeping was off the table. Looks like it would have been a lot of fun to rent one from one of the two local outfits.

We were somewhat disappointed in this place. It needed some minor attention in a lot of areas and some major attention elsewhere. I don't think the owners were ever rv'ers. Our site was not level and required a lot of boards. The electric box required some shaking before it was willing to respond. This did make us somewhat nervous but seemed to work ok afterwards. Go figure. We use DirecTV and Verizon so I can't comment on local reception. The other residents seemed ok but remember we only stayed 4 days and were off the property most of the daylight hours. I don't think in all honestly that we would visit here again unless push came to shove. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Aspen Ridge is an older park that was purchased by new owners. It is a work in progress, and the dedication into making Aspen Ridge a 1st class park is very evident. There are many RV parks to choose from in the South Fork area and most cater to long term summer visitors. Aspen Ridge is no different. The reason we would come back here is because of the wonderful people that run it. We camped at Aspen Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
