Arrived late afternoon without a reservation. Was greeted by a friendly receptionist working alone. The park is behind the Casino and it's actual name is "Sleeping Ute RV Park." I had not had time to research on Google maps, so missed the first entry because all signage is for the casino not the park.

All RV sites are pull through and ours was easy to enter. It is not particularly level. My front wheels are almost off the ground. Hookups are located near the back of the site and I needed to be at the very front of the site to get my car off the road. I had no problem hooking up, although it was a stretch to reach the sewer. We were not disturbed by any noise during the night.

Could not use satellite as I was facing south and there was a tree shading the front of the coach. Cable would have provided the TV we watch, when we watch. I did not hook it up. Did not use their WiFi. Used my own with excellent Verizon signal. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Just behind the Ute Mtn. casino and about 20 miles away from Mesa Verde. Was planning to spend a couple of nights here, but cut it short when we found the casino to be dark, dingy and hot. Was not a nice place to gamble, so we saw the park then left after that.

Nice park next to casino. Most sites level, some will need a little help. WIFI sporadic at best. Cable tv channels not sharp. Security coming thru a couple times a day a plus. Verizon data and cell excellent. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Behind the Ute Mountain Casino Hotel and Resort is a very nice quiet campground with lots of trees called Sleeping Ute RV Park. They have 50amp full hookup pull-thrus suitable for big rigs with level gravel sites and an easily navigated road around the park. With the trees between each site, the pull-thrus facing North West will give you the best open sky to the South for your satellite. Each site comes with a picnic table and garbage can. There is a little grass and room for your slides and awning. Grounds were well kept and the bathrooms, showers and laundry were all very clean. Free WIFI worked well. We did not have any Sprint coverage in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. This park is only open from April thru October. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

We needed a good place to park it for a month. This park was in good proximity to so many different things that it was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night security was also a welcoming sight. The amenities all worked perfectly. Electric, water, sewer, cable, and wifi were all included. The pool and sauna were a nice addition as well. The bonus was the $5 free play at the casino for each night booked. My only gripe would be the sand burrs. We punctured 6 bike tires during our time there and had multiple burrs make it through the soles of our sandals. Other then that though, if we return to the area, we would happily select this campground again. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly & helpful staff. Grass/dirt sites mostly level but not always, some trees to try to shield the sun. The cable and wifi are good. We stayed here to visit Four Corners and Mesa Verde National Park. They gave us $5 a day to use in the casino, we used their money and came out with $16, so it was a good time! We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay if close to the four corners (probably the closest one). Plenty of sites, fairly clean, great customer service. Little tight in a few sites for big rigs. Stayed two nights to go see Cortez, nice little town. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Showers were some of the best I have seen, very modern. Indoor outdoor pool. Short walk to casino. No road noise. Level sites . some sites need attention to weeds.

I would stay here again. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff, great location for access to 4 corners and Mesa Verda Park. Located 10 miles south of Cortez. Stayed 5 nights here, enjoyed the casino, Ute Tribal culture and tribal park. Pool is an indoor pool. Pool and showers close when office closes as you need key for showers. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice price with Passport America. Elect and water pressure is good. Gravel roads and park sites. Could be leveled a bit better. Staff is very nice and helpful. There is an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna room, picnic tables, a playground, and a garbage can at each site. The grounds are well kept with some trees. Cable TV works well but internet signal is weak. Campground is patrolled. As a perk you will be given $5. Came here to see Mesa Verde National Park. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. The roads coming in from the south are all tore up with road repair so except delays. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This price reflects Passport America rate. The campground is very nice and is flanked by lovely mountains. There is an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna room, picnic tables, gravel sites, a playground, and a garbage can at each site. The grounds are well kept and there is shade available for many sites. The campground has a dog walking area, a nice laundry, clean bathrooms, and a covered group picnic area. Cable TV works well but internet signal is weak away from registration office. I had to use a hot box. Staff is professional and friendly. Campground is patrolled. As a perk you will be given $5 in credits for each day of stay for use at the casino which is a part of the complex. At this writing there is a seafood/prime rib buffet on Friday night for $19.00 which is good. The nearby UTE gas station has the lowest prices around. You will have easy access off Rt. 160. The nearest grocery store is in Cortez which is about 11 miles away. Campground is close to many tourist attractions including one of our favorites, Mesa Verde National Park. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

It was nice to see patches of grass and trees between sites. The gravel sites were extremely unlevel. Utility connections were good, Wi-Fi was good. Office staff was often confused. Prepare for strong downslope winds overnight. Rate reflects weekly stay. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

LOVE this RV park! End sites have large grassy areas, interior sites are small, mostly gravel, with a small patch of grass and one tree, a picnic table, and a garbage can. Located 10 miles south of Cortez, right behind the Ute Mountain Casino. There is a small playground that needs new sand, an indoor heated pool, hot tub, and sauna right across the hall from the laundry room, bathrooms, and showers, which were all impeccably clean and large. This park is very well maintained, cleaned, water tested, and patrolled by security. Cable was a little fuzzy but worked and wifi worked great the closer you are to the front desk. We were as far away as you can get (site #19) and still got decent wifi. We got the weekly rate and will likely be back to stay for a month or longer at some point in our journey. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff. Good place to camp for a few days to visit Capitol Reef and Cortez. You get a $5 gift to play in the casino (we gambled and won our first night stay back!). We camped on the Passport America rate so 50% off. They allow you to stay on this rate as long as you want, the only thing you have to pay every day, no problem for us. Big pull-throughs, large trees, little grass (needs some TLC). Pool and restrooms where still closed. Free Wi-Fi, weak but at the office it worked fine for us. Cable so-so. We will come back. We camped at Ute Mountain Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
