2 night stay for $79.01. Location makes this place. Gravel throughout. Close to neighbors. Quiet. Not shady. Staff are great. Hookups not convenient; ran electric and water under RV; 2 hoses needed for water; didn't have to add another power cord; it was a stretch. Sewer alright. Water pressure 90psi. 7 Individual shower/bathrooms. Older but clean. Good shower head pressure. But no hand sanitizer or soap or paper towels. Hand sanitizer is the best option; as noted in toilet vaults in forest service areas. Can't imagine why they use a key for bathrooms more so when not locked in 3 of 4 bathroom times I used bathroom. Laundry just great; price and set up user friendly. I wish all RV camps had similar. We parked our tow on side of RV camp and not far from RV. Not a lot of choices close to centralDenver with reasonable reviews. We will stay here in future. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

Colorado Rockies. Close to Costco for gas etc as well as shopping. Two car washes north on Ward Avenue within 2 miles; on right. One a block away to self/hand wash. We had a kayak uptop! Other was a service station drive through. Prospect Park adjacent/behind RV camp. Great walk/ hike

Very close spaces but we were there to see Denver and Boulder so worked for us. Right next to a beautiful park with plenty of grass for walking the dog. No grass in the RV park except a small dog area behind the office. Friendly staff. Washer and dryers reasonably priced. Clean laundry room and bathroom/showers. Every other site the water and power are on the wrong side. They provide adapters to go from 50 to 30 amp if you don't have one. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is very close to Denver for access to the various attractions there and just west of the city. The staff is very friendly, and bathrooms/showers are very clean and private. A couple things kept me from giving it a 9 or 10 across the board. We never could get connected to the WiFi, and the spaces were very tight. We had a pull-through space and had to move the neighbor's picnic table in order to pull out. There's a beautiful park accessible from the pet walk area with trails, lakes, Clear Creek and the usual park items. We were just here for one night and would definitely stay again. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed overnight and were pleased with the quality of the park. Our site was extremely quiet and overlooked the park next door. Our only complaint WiFi did not work as advertised. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

Left Cherry Creek State Park to stay here while visiting some friends in the Denver area. I only stayed in this park because of the location. Staff was so very nice on the phone but park needs major update. Large gravel rv park, very dusty, with no markings for sites. Poles rise up for the ground with a number on them. My sewer cover was a rock. Mostly full timers who park their trucks, cars and tow vehicles in the driveway There is no room for your tow vehicle. I was very lucky that after my second day, the rv in front of me left, giving me a way out. Otherwise I would have had to go to the office to get people to move their vehicles. I will NOT stay here again. Overpriced for what you get but the location was good for my stay. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very easy access to I-70. Very close to mountains. Excellent showers were actually individual restrooms with plenty of room and privacy. Excellent washers/dryers. Lovely ladies in the office. Park is located next door to a park that has playground equipment and a lake. Gate between RV park and park is open 24/7. Excellent trails for biking and walking pets. The absolute only negative note is that wifi was very very poor. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is just 6 miles from Golden, CO, straight out west on 44th street which becomes 10th street in Golden. No need to get on interstate. Golden is a quaint town with Clear Creek running through it & blocks of old town type shopping. The free Coors Brewery was disappointing. A "must see" is Red Rocks Amphitheater. Please note the nearest Walmart showing on Google is actually closed but east on 44th street 3 miles is a Walmart super center.

As a base camp, the park is fine. Washrooms and laundry are excellent. Management is accomodating. However, if Wi-Fi is important, then this is not the park to stay at. Wi-Fi is non-existant at the camp site. I finally had to go to the office to check email and during the process, lost connection 3 or more times. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight. We had a pull-in site. The power was good. The water pressure was high; the manager loaned me a pressure reducer.
The interior roads were crushed stone. The park is a couple of blocks from I-70 but is easy to get to the park. The management is helpful. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nicely hidden in a residential/commercial area, but convenient to major highways. Not many amenities (pool, rec room, etc.) but a good "base camp" for exploring the Denver area.

Lots of semi-permanent residents (relocating to the area and looking for housing, but also some who make the RV park their home). We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were wanting to stay near Denver and lucked out to get a reservation at Prospect RV Park. The park is in a great location about 15 miles from the 16th Street Mall. The owners are very welcoming and the park is clean. Sites are fairly close together, but hookups are positioned well. Wifi was not great but we were about as far from the office as you could get. And the office advised that the wifi was for light surfing and not streaming. Lot is gravel and our site was level. The laundry facility was nice and clean. No frills, but the location can't be beat for visiting downtown Denver. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Needed a place for 2 nights near Denver. This park looked okay from previous reviews and due to lack of parks in the Denver area and very poor reviews on nearly all parks we chose to stay at Prospect. The park was fully booked, most units were permanent or seasonal. It was 95 degrees. We had site 10, an end site. The electric power was supposedly 50 amp but output was insufficient for our coach. On leg was 112 and other fluctuated between 105 to 107 causing pulsating surge. Park claimed they hadn't experienced issue before but later admitted they had previous issues with sites at the end of service line. However, another RV owner in a Prevost was also in the office reporting he had the same electrical issues for several days. We had to use our generator during the day but would not be allowed to run it at night. We were able to use a 20 amp outlet on pedestal to run an extension cord through a window to power an electric fan. Since we could not locate any other parks in area and that the TravelAmerica Center 2 blocks away and the Walmart would not permit overnight RV parking we were stuck. The owner did advise the park was built in 1988 on a "shoe string budget" and has outdated aluminum wiring. She willingly accepted my proposal for us to stay for 2 nights and only charge for 1 night. If you have a newer model RV and require minimal electrical to power your unit be aware that this park may not fit your needs. The park is otherwise okay but no frills. Location is good for access to I-70 and is quiet. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

The best part of this park is its location. It is close to Downtown Denver and all of Denver attractions just off of I-70. It is also right on a walking/biking path along Clear Creek that runs for miles with 4 small lakes that you can fish as well. It is also near great shopping. The park itself is all gravel with pull-thrus, back-ins and pull-ins. The sites have a split rail fence seperating each site. Kind of cute. They also have a concrete pad for a picnic table. No fire pit but you can use a propane fire pit. They do offer free wi-fi. No pool. They have a restroom with showers and a laundry room. It is a very popular park so make reservations. The rate we paid was a weekly rate. There is a 14.5% room tax on top of that! We have stayed here several times before and would deffinitely return. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 1 week in the park. The excellent rating is a results of the staffs hospitality and accommodation's of our needs. We had to be in the area for a family memorial service and needed the extra help. Thank you.........the park is not a luxury resort but has all the amenities an rver needs. Easy on/off, great dog friendly public park access, convenient to Denver, mountain day trips and sports outing. RV parks in Denver are limited, reservations recommended. We would easily return. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
