We were disappointed in the fact that since this was Columbus day weekend, this park did not even allow the Good Sam discount even though we arrived on a Sunday. The cost seemed unreasonable. WiFi good, and spaces roomy. They needed a charge card to take reservation, but required payment in check or cash. Very inconvenient to say the least. We were shown our spot on a map, but no one escorted us and it seemed that no one really was interested in helping us. We will not be staying here again. This is a very lovely smaller RV park. We picked it because it is opened year round and therefore later into the fall season. At 68 per night, it's not inexpensive but it had very good cable and wifi. We also paid for the more expensive waterfront site and really appreciated the view. This is a pet friendly RV park and there were a lot of dogs but my husband brought to my attention for all the dogs we saw - there was no obnoxious barking. It was so quiet! The park advertises itself as a "luxury" RV park. Not quite sure what that means but I definitely would not use that statement to describe it. There really weren't any amenities that I would consider to be luxurious. But it was clean and laid out nicely and there were fun places to walk around. The park is in great proximity to casinos and a lot of other activities in the CT area. I would highly recommend for those who like to camp a little off season - a great option! Way overpriced. We tend to run into a lot of this in the eastern part of the country so I guess it is just supply and demand. Sites were level but very gritty with some odd limestone that tracked in very bad. Very dusty. Young girls in the office were very disinterested in their job and commented on the prices that they weren't going down soon and I could take it or leave it. Did use the laundry which was in a type of dungeon and were not in the best of shape. This campground definitely needs some serious competition. Don't want to stay here again, but might as they are very close to a relatives house. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Sites are large and level. All utilities work very well. The Wi-Fi has vastly improved over the past year. Park provides passes for the local town beaches on the sound. We found the staff, adults and young adults, to be friendly and helpful. There are a reasonable number of seasonals without all the "seasonal junk" all over their sites. We enjoy this campground very much. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very quiet, laid back campground. The sites are very wide and dead level. All utilities worked well, but the Wi-Fi was weak. The entire place was very clean and well maintained. Friends of ours rented one of their cabins and it was very nice also. I would definitely camp there again. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Price increase does not reflect quality of service. Stayed here over 1 month and until 4 July crowd the restrooms/showers were not cleaned. Toilets frequently stopped up and full of waste. Had to bring our own bathroom tissue. Showers are pay as you go ($.25). WiFi was impossible until last few days. Many RVers don't clean up after their dogs. Staff is argumentative about problems. The ground up gravel on the sites gets into everything. On the positive side, sites are spacious and level. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Newer, more spacious RV park, with long wide sites. Usurious $25 fee for 50 amp service, charged upon arrival, NOT on their web site. Asked for late check in and they forgot us. Had to call when we pulled in. Very poor customer service and attitude toward the RV consumer. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $50.00
Good check in, lots are level, spaced out good, roads good, utilities could be better spaced, but OK. Overall a good park, pool looked good. Fire rings and table at each lot. Quiet and easy access from I-95 about 3+ miles. Small playground, park better suited for adults. Some longer term residents, but all units well kept. We will return if in the area again. Stayed 4 nights. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

The site was level, all utilities worked, and the area and restrooms were extremely clean. The only bad thing about this campground is its staff. They were very unhelpful and rather rude. We will look for another place next time in CT. The Pequot Museum in Mashantucket is a must see while in this area. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Very nice park. I agree there is limited activities for kids. I would have rated it a 10, but was never able to log into the Wi-Fi as the signal was too weak. We plan to return. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Clean & convenient-- yes, but nothing to do. We spent two nights in middle August with two children (10 & 8). No activities at all. There is a pool, but it is freezing - even in middle August? It is small and is in desperate need of a heater. Seems to clear out during the day. Adults will enjoy the campground if they want quiet, but families will struggle to keep their children entertained. We will not be back. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This was our second stay here, I consider it a park, not a campground. The park has received major awards in the past two years. It is quiet, and while there is a playground and pool, it seems to primarily cater to adults. The sites are wide, level and well maintained. It is hard to not give it a 10. BUT..I had major problems with Wi-Fi, and totally gave up the last day; there were major problems with cable that we should not have had, and needed up having to attach a special box. Park personnel were less than helpful, in fact surly is a better description in dealing with these issues. I do not understand the rationale for $ showers to begin with, these showers have no hooks or shelves, to avoid putting your belongings on the wet floor you must place a plastic stacking chair in an already small space. You have 7 minutes (maybe) to adjust the water temperature and shower before the water runs out. I was willing to overlook much of this and go with a ten until I had to use the laundry. It is stuck in the walk ot basement of the owners house/office. It is dirty and the machines are not in good repair. I expect the ARVC park of the year to be a 10 in all areas. Advertised as a "luxury resort". This is a basic, acceptable campground but not a resort, in any way. The roads are not paved and dusty; there are some tree issues for large rigs; the pool is not heated; the restrooms are not air conditioned; the staff is not friendly (often posted about) and the laundry facilities are not in good repair. In addition, you have to pay to use the showers. The positives are it is off the road, so it is quiet, no train or plane noise and close to sightseeing, shopping, etc. The sights are of good length, but the back section is not completely level. This big rig friendly park has hard gravel roads leading to level gravel/grass sites. There are no sharp turns or low branches in this park, making it easy to get to any campsite. The trees do cast some shade, but none should affect your satellite reception. Most pull-through sites are very long and wide, we had plenty of room setting up our 40ft class A with 4 slides and awning in a 50 amp full hookup spot. There was also lots of room left for parking our toad as well. Our sprint 3G phone and hotspot worked well. Bathrooms, showers (coin operated) and laundry were clean as well as the pool and pond swimming area. Long term residents’ sites were also kept tidy. This is a very quiet park with no road noise. There is a prox card security gate at the entrance. We camped at Aces High RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
