The rate reflects both off-season and Good Sam discounts. This park has been significantly improved since being taken over by Sun Resorts, but it still has a ways to go to be first rate. The roads are much better with compacted gravel, but they can very dusty in dry weather. The sites are fairly large and level, with the electric and water hookups well placed. There are no sewer hookups, but a no-charge pump out service is available. The free cable TV and free TengonetInternet Wi-Fi services both worked quite well, as did out Verizon voice and data services. There are some trees throughout the park, but not enough to interfere with satellite reception on most sites. The bathrooms were immaculate despite the park being quite full. With a little more investment and work, this park could easily be a '10'. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
Large park with paved and gravel roads and level gravel sites with grass between. The standard sites are long and triple wide with 30 amp and water, and the premium pull-throughs have 50 amp. Each has table and fire ring. Some sites have trees for shade and others are open for good satellite signal. Strong and free Wi-Fi signal and cables at sites. No sites have sewer but free pump out service available. Heated pool, nice playground and rec center. Park well maintained and professional. The staff was friendly and helpful. Passport America discount only good for first 2 nights. Rate listed is the average for 4 nights. Don’t follow the GPS directions to take exit 90 off of I-95, city roads lead to steep off angle 170 degree turn. If coming from the north take exit 92 turn right and follow 27 north to 184 and turn right. If coming from the south take exit 86 and take 184 to park. We stayed here in a 42' RV. There were no sewer hookups available but they provided one free pump out. Free Wi-Fi connection was great. Free cable. Friendly staff, beautifully kept park. Would definitely go back. Great proximity for day trips to Newport, RI, Groton, CT, etc. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate is daily part of in-season weekly rate. This CG is in a typical New England tourist town offering a wide variety of things to do, maybe more historic than cultural. Rate seemed very reasonable for the amenities. The hospitality was first rate. Staff that handle the reservations have considerable experience and bend over backward to get the customer the best available rate and assist with everything needed and then some. Park accepts the usual affiliations for discount. Campground is pet friendly with ample dog walk. Wi-Fi (TengoInternet) is free but very slow to unavailable and there is good cellular reception. Cable TV was ample for us but we don’t watch much. There is a catch and release fishing pond on the property and plenty of nice roads for biking. Kayaking is very popular on the nearby river. Fire rings are provided and the picnic tables are excellent (we have been at three different sites this summer). Shade trees are on many sites but are young and not very helpful yet. Sites are level; sometimes I don’t deploy any jacks. Facilites staff are very responsive to needs. They are constantly improving the grounds, such as the newly installed mini-golf course. The pool is lovely and brand new this year. Bathrooms/showers are clean. While there is no on-site septic, there are pump-outs at your site twice a week and that staff accommodates whatever flushing you need. The sites are big. In the back they are huge. The low area can get very wet in a heavy storm and should be avoided if possible. The roads are dirt and can get very dusty. While we were there campers seemed sensitive to that and kept speeds down. They are trying to resolve that problem. Sites have gravel “drives”. Warning: You do have to be careful not to approach the campground from The Impossible Turn. Call the campground for directions or take exit 86 from I-95 N onto Rt 184 and follow east about 6.2 miles to campground on left. If going south on I-95, take exit 92; go straight at light to Rt 2. Turn right onto Rt 2 and follow to Rt 184 rotary. Follow around three fourths and go left (west) onto Rt 184 for about 5.1 miles to campground on right. This park rating would be a ten if the roads were less dusty and the Wi-Fi better. We hope to spend more time there this summer or fall. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Group rate for a 30 amp grass back-in site. Cable was real bad when we first hooked up, but the problem had already been reported and was quickly resolved. The earlier 'not level' comment is misleading. All sites are basically level, but some are 'lumpy'. You simply need to position your rig properly. The sites are large enough for this and we had no problems leveling. Lots of kids here on the weekend. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

The rate reflects our Good Sam discount. Lots of improvements since our last visit especially to the entrance and the check-in area. Our pull thru was great and level. The water pressure was good as was the WiFi. The honey wagon came as scheduled. We left that compartment unlocked and when we came home, we were empty. The only issue I had was the gravel roads and the speeds of the vehicles going in and out. We will stop here the next time we come this way We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Park has some nice sites and some not so nice. The older unimproved section was extremely wet, sites were not level, and hookups in odd spaces. There were many muddy ruts from previous campers. The pull throughs are nice, gravel, and very long, with good hookups. Restrooms and shower houses have been remodeled. Pool is new and very nice. Front desk personnel very friendly andk accommodating. No sewer sites but honey wagon available six days a week. Wi-fi undependable. Tried several spots throughout campground during 8 day stay and none were consistent. Cable worked well. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This is a very nice park. Large sites, very good cable and wifi, friendly staff. I called for a honey wagon and they were there that day to pump me out. No extra charge. Let me wash my rig before leaving. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $39.00
We arrived the day they opened for the season. Many improvements to the park since Sun Properties has purchased it. Sites are all in a line but roads are easily traversed. Pull thru sites are long and laid out nicely. No sewer but two dump stations and free pump-outs twice a week if needed. New paving at entrance, new sod, new pool, new bocce court, etc. If in the area we would return as it is convenient to the area attractions. Rate is for off season - a bit pricey but it is a nice park. Staff was fabulous!!!! We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00
Well located park just a short drive away from most of the area attractions. Although many of the sites are occupied by long-term residents or used as vacation get-aways, everyone was friendly and helpful. Sites are large and the office staff was friendly. What more could we want? Well, maybe a sewer hookup! We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

When we first pulled into the area we wondered what we had gotten ourselves into, but this was due to the shambles of a business you pass on the way to the campground. Once you enter the campground property things are extremely clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The lots were large with full hook ups and good strong internet. Things were quiet at night and the location is convenient for seeing the sights nearby. We full-time in our RV with two cats. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $48.00
We had a wonderful August weekend at Seaport RV! The new owners are wonderful and are working hard to create a fabulous campground. Don't consider any of the reviews for the previous owners; it is completely different now. Everything looks brand new. Beautiful landscaping; everything is very clean. The bathrooms are clean and have great showers. Everyone that works there is pleasant and accommodating. They are working on the pool - which will be heated; they expect to have it ready before the end of the season. There was not a shortage of things for the kids to do. Bounce house, waterslides, Disco party, games, crafts--they were thrilled. This is a smaller campground which we loved. Active enough for the kids, but quiet enough for Mommy & Daddy. Will visit again often. Will also give a perfect 10 when the pool is ready. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Rate reflects 25% discount via calling the parent company Sun, not using their online system, so you may want to call. The campground, recently purchased and being renovated, has lots of potential. Sites are electric/water only - no sewer. They will send a honeywagon (no charge) twice a week. People in office are nice enough. Convenient location to Mystic, where there is good area information at their Visitor's Center. Verizon 3G was spotty. We would say here again. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $29.00
The rate shown includes a 25% pre-season discount. This park is immaculate and very quiet. The new owners, Sun RV Resorts, are doing a complete remake of the buildings and roads. Most of the roads already have a well compacted base course of gravel and stone dust, in preparation for finish paving. Work is also underway to pave each site driveway, with most of the pull-throughs already having the base in place. The restrooms and showers are all new, and the new main building/office is nearly completed. An all new playground is also nearing completion, and work on a new pool is underway. All of the sites are quite large with fire rings and new picnic tables on most. The pull-through sites are long enough for the biggest rigs and the longest tows. The cable TV system offers a good assortment of channels, and works perfectly. The CampLink ($) WiFi service is excellent, with good speed and a solid signal throughout the park at reasonable rates. The Verizon cell signal is on the weak side, showing only one or two bars, but that of course, is not something the park management controls. The sites are water and electric only, but the park does have a couple of dump stations, and is currently offering on-site pump out service at no charge. A site survey is currently in progress to determine the requirements for FHU sewer service. This park is improving daily, and will surely be a "10" when completed. We will absolutely visit here again should we be in the area. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

While this only received an 8: it is a great CG. Pull through sites must be 75' at least. Power is good. Water: a tad on the low side at 40psi. Nicely treed. Side by side sites provide a ton of space between coaches on the passenger side of both. Newly graveled: compact, tight. Soon to be paved. Pool being worked on. Office area being built. New owners. Looks like a kid section being built. Only downside: no sewers. But a great place. Put in the sewer and wait for the paving and this gets a rare 10 from me.
