Squeaky clean campground! We had a back-in site that was very level. Utilities easy to hook up to. No sewer, but we used their showers as they were very nice. 30 amp power a bit low. We used our auto-former to get the voltage we needed. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice. We will stay here again! We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice RV park. The sites are large and level, adequate for a class "A" & toad, and wide enough for multiple slideouts. OK, they're gravel / stone but I didn't need any leveling blocks for set-up. Yes, there are seasonal campers but the rigs are nice and well maintained, not trashed-out and tarp covered as in some cg's we've stayed at. The only reason this doesn't get a "10" is the lack of sewer hookups. But it's a minor issue since the cg has a pump-out service every 3 days. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is the closest campground to Mystic. Must-sees are Mystic Seaport, the Aquarium, Submarine Museum, and downtown Mystic. Lattitudes at Mystic Seaport is good for lunch. Parking in downtown Mystic can be tight, one day even the municipal lot was full.

Very nice Sun Communities cg with lots to do for families. There are some very well maintained permanent sites and rental units. While there are no fhu (which I was not told about when making the reservation) they do come to pump you out 2x in a weeks stay. There is plenty of room for a nice dog park but they don't have one. It's a shame as so many folks have dogs here of all sizes. One night there was a group of extremely noisy campers. I learned the next day that someone had called the after hours service who failed to call the manager. He was not happy with the after hours people but did deal with the campers asap. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Don't miss Mystic Seaport Village. It is not a shopping place but an educational experience about life in a fishing village. Several old ships there including a whaler. The shipyard is very operational as they restore wooden boats. All of the employees were friendly, helpful, and informative. We were invited in to the one of the wood working buildings for an in depth discussions about the tools. Husband loved it.

We stayed 7 nights. Paid $384 total for an average of $54.86/night. No tax. Reservation process was easy. They collected a 50% deposit upfront with the balance due at check in. I can't swear to it but I believe I was told we would have full hook-ups. Come to find out they don't have sewer but offer free honey wagon service every three days (not on departure day). They also have a very accessible dump station. Check-in was fast and efficient. Allowed us to receive packages which we appreciated. Park wifi was hit or miss. Received DirecTV sat signal. Verizon cell and Verizon Mifi were weak but functional. There were a few quirky things about this park. First - the entrance has a somewhat narrow gate. They habitually park a golf cart in front of the office which prevents you from lining up straight to pass through the gate. Furthermore there is a planter just inside the gate on the right side that you risk hitting because you're angling to the right to avoid the golf cart. The planter is low to the ground so you can't see it. Argh. Second - one morning I was using their shower at approx 8:30am. A cleaning lady called out to me telling me she needed to clean and for me to go to the other bathhouse (during my shower?!). Third - we had significant power issues. It was warm (not crazy hot) and the park was somewhat full (weekend). We noticed our a/c stopped working. Fortunately we were home. We checked and saw our voltage was low. We called the office. A very nice gentleman came promptly and explained their power company only provides a certain power level and that was that. He suggested we remove our surge protector and that would solve the problem. Uh - No - Not an option. We have a cat and obviously won't leave the coach if there is a climate control issue. As such, we had to forfeit plans and stay home one day in order to monitor the situation. For $55/night that's frustrating and unacceptable. If we return to Mystic, we will look for another place to stay. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We received good service for a slide issue from Arlington RV approx 30 miles North off I95. We scheduled the appt a month in advance. Downtown Mystic is charming especially the drawbridge. Mystic Pizza has ok pizza but it was fun to eat there. Nuclear Submarine Museum and Coast Guard Academy/Museum are free and and wonderful. We had hoped Mystic Seaport would be more like Colonial Williamsburg with lots of period characters and activities but it wasn't so a little disappointing.

Some of the pull thru's had side by side hookups. In the area we were in we had large sites but 2 of the seasonals were parked parallel with the road so the transient rv's and those seasonals were close together at a 90 degree angle. Some of the gravel interior roads have holes in them and are dusty. There are no sewer sites but there is cable tv and the site was level. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects a military/l.e. discount on a week stay. It would get a top rating if it had sewer hook up. But they do have honey wagon service, free on the weekly stay. Level, grass and gravel sites. Weekends do get family crowds. Nice pool area, mini golf, a laser tag yard, playground for kids, horseshoes, and dump site in campground. Sites have good spacing. The office has a small store for incidentals. Nice staff. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a nice enough park. The sites are big enough for our 43ft. RV and tow vehicle. When we arrived at was not crowded at all, but by the weekend it was packed and full of kids. That made it less than ideal. For the dogs, it was very nice and big enough to walk them around the park for a decent walk. There is no sewer hookups here because it is a wetland, they they offer a pump out one time if you are there for a week. If you need more you can pay $14 per pump out. That is all fine and dandy, except they forgot to pump us out, even though they give you a form to fill out and drop off at the office. Thankfully someone was still in the office, so they could call the guy and get us pumped out. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to Copps Park/dog park just down the road a few miles, with 2 off leash fenced areas. One for large dogs and one for small dogs. There are also some nice path through the woods for dogs that aren't into dog parks. Dogs need to be under voice control, but can be off leash on the trails.

The rate reflect both the off-season rate and the two night Passport America savings where we paid for two nights, but stayed three. This was our third visit to Seaport, and each time it has been better than the last one. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable, and the back-in site we were assigned to (#12) was very large, with plenty of room for our coach and parking for our toad. There was at about 100' between us and our neighbors, and the view across the street was of a heavily treed area instead of another row of RV's. The 50 amp electric and water hook ups were easy to reach and worked well. As has been said, there are no sewer hook ups here due to a wetland designation, but there are two dump stations and the park offers a free pump out once every three days during your stay. Other pump outs are available at a nominal fee. Our part of the park was very quiet day and night during our weekday stay, in part because several of the RV's near us were on seasonal sites that are apparently only used on weekends. Our AT&T hotspot cell service was strong here, but Verizon was on the weak side, although still usable. We didn't use the park WiFi service. The free analog cable service has a good assortment of channels, and our site was open enough to use our satellite dish. Nearby Mystic has many stores and restaurants to choose from, along with the Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium, both well worth several hours of your time. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We found the Mystic Diner and Frank's Gourmet Grill to be excellent places for low to mid range priced meals, and both had excellent food and service. For breakfast, we liked "Somewhere In Time", a unique small breakfast/lunch restaurant just a mile or so from the park. Mystic Diner also serves an excellent breakfast.

Entrance is clean and nicely manicured. When I made reservations in January 2017, I requested FULL hookups. Was never told by anyone that there was no sewer available. There was a honey wagon available free with 3 nights stay otherwise it cost $20.00. Some of the cable channels were snowy. WiFi was totally useless. Pull-throughs were gravel and not really level. I had to block up. Overall, this park is way over priced for the amenities offered. I stayed in 10/10/10 parks that were cheaper, nicer and everything worked. Also, there were lots of bugs in the showers and the bath house was not vented. Water pressure was low. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here using Passport America. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a pull thru site. It was very long as most of the sites were. The campground had some open areas and some shaded areas. They had a nice pool that was heated (very warm). It was easy to get to from I-95. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground has been upgraded with many new amenities since our last visit. There are no sewer hookups in the facility, but free pump out is provided on day you select. (Not available Sunday or on day of departure). Water/electric/cable were very good. Free WiFi is reliable but would not play anything that the system apparently considered "streaming." including some some pictures in e-mails. There was a lot of rain prior to and during our visit. Our site simply did not drain. Pad was gravel but the rest was grassy with mud. The 50 amp sites seemed much better. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice RV park very close to Mystic, CT. Interior roads are wide gravel and sites are very spacious mostly level gravel with grass between sites and a picnic table. Pull through sites are very long well more than my 45 ft MH and tow. Security gates with card key provided. Grounds clean and well maintained but dumpsters were over flowing when I visited. There are trees on each site but was able to access satellite. Cable and WiFi were OK. Site given was not level but fortunately park was not full and they allowed me to move to another site. Main issue is no sewer connections at site and they require full payment upon reservation. Dump station at exit. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Passport America rate is honored for two days, so you get one day free. Stayed for four and but paid for three. The campground was very nice, enjoyed the stay in Mystic. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Some sites slope and will cause either front or rear wheels to be off the ground some, but was able to level. Will stay again. This place is pretty quiet, not near any trains or highways. The lack of full hookups is a negative. There was no fenced dog area. The internet didn't work in spaces 1 or 2; apparently, we were too far from the router. Back in spaces (at least ours, 1 and 2) were huge; we didn't have to disconnect.
