Pulled through on my way home from Maine. Owner was a real nice fella and I enjoyed our conversation. Camp site is not an RV park with many amenities, but a great place to stay for wooded sites. Kids enjoyed swimming and fishing in pond. Saw a guy pull in a big largemouth bass. Would consider coming back to fish and have fun. Facilities were clean. This is a private campground that we thought we'd try. Sites are pretty close together; wooded/shaded and roomy enough but closer than we would have preferred. It seems like most of the campers are seasonal or year round. The roads are sand and gravel. Cable dost an extra $5 per day. Karaoke is offered on weekends. Restrooms and showers are clean. The downside for us was that there was not much to do. We were here during a few rainy days. There's a small beach on the lake, fishing is possible and they have boat rentals. No trails for walking. So this is more of a destination place for some quiet time and it is successful at that. The new owners are helpful, pleasant and keep up a good campground. Shaded and sunny sites. Lake swimming. Gray water dump at each site. Good Verizon voice & data. Very poor air TV. 1/2 price for PA except weekends. Stayed 4 days. We camped at Chamberlain Lake Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

We camped here one night in a motor home. Paid $20 on Passport America (reg rate is $40). Park roads and sites are primarily a sandy gravel that was very clean to drive on even in a downpour. There are sites in heavily shaded trees, as well as sites in an open grassy field. Most sites are seriously out of level. We camped in the field and had to use thick wood blocks under our tires. Getting level here is a problem. No Wi-Fi. Our cell worked OK. The park has a nice 50 acre lake that is large enough to kayak. It looks like a great bass pond, but we only stayed the night and I didn't fish it. The park is on a small country road which had more traffic noise than expected: nothing like an interstate, but not quiet either. We camped at Chamberlain Lake Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Small secluded campground with friendly staff. Very quiet being well away from any major highways or communities. Clean sites and well maintained bathrooms. Gray water drains only, with dump station in middle of campground. Small beach and lake are nice. Will stay there again when the opportunity arises.
