1 Park near Alachua, Florida
May 2016 - $32.00
YOU MUST PAY IN CASH and it doesn't say it anywhere. Plan ahead. We stopped here for an overnight with our travel trailer in mid-May. The pool was closed yet which was a disappointment because it was a hot, steamy day. The transient RV spots are laid out a little differently, in that, there are long rows of seven sites in a row. The office tries to place you in a row where people are leaving at the same time you are. It was really not a problem with leaving if you let the office know. Most sites have some shade and all have a picnic table. They have some animals as part of the "farm" that were nice to see. The grounds were well-kept and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our overnight here very much. We would come back again. - Florida Bob

This is a an OK campground. They have these strange head to tail long pull thru sites that allow big rigs to stay hooked up. There are cross over spots so not usually a problem in the AM. They have 50 Amp FHU available. The park is older but clean and tidy. ATT & Verizon work well. Some trees so ask if need satellite set up. Restrooms are dated but clean.
No train but some Hwy noise especially up in monthly area. Free Tengo WiFi worked Ok. Internal roads and pads are hard packed with narrow grass between. Really only an over nighter unless you get one of the outer road sites (I think it was E row). As they say watch the speed bumps. Would stay again. - TedandJan

The management has a good routine to make sure the campers get to the sites quickly and provided a helper to make sure the electric and other hookups were working. The layout of the sites for the over night campers was unusual but very satisfactory. The sites could be called pull through sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. The noise from the interstate highway was a bit disturbing but not bad. We stayed there one night. - Steve77
