This is a large, busy RV Resort with mostly very well kept long term back-in sites. There are 18 long, level, FHU, pull-through sites in the front for short term stays. There is some road noise and occasional loud train noise. The bathrooms/showers, laundry and meeting rooms are clean and nice. There is a pool, 2 small dog parks, pickle ball, and lots of other activities. A good place for a short or long term stay. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

There is nothing I can say that's bad about this park. Right now they are installing 4 pickle ball courts. The ladies in the office are great and very helpful. The park is supplying a complete Thanksgiving dinner for $10 per person. Large laundry facility, great satellite and good Verizon phone signals. We would definitely come back to this park if in the area. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our fourth year staying at Paradise Oaks. This year we stayed for 6 months. It is a wonderful park! All the buildings are spotless. The maintenance crew keeps the grounds in excellent shape. Anything you need, they are there to help you. The people working in the office are all very nice and helpful. It's a great group of women that workcamp and couldn't be nicer. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Yes, there is a train track across the road, but after a couple nights you get used to it. It is not bad at all. My husband and I can't say enough good about this park! We will continue to camp at Paradise Oaks! We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very noisy. Can hear train whistles all the time especially all night. They gave away our site even though paid well in advance. Staff didn't even notify us, didn't offer an apology and were very defensive saying we don't guarantee any site. Came with another party and we both wanted to be near each other so changed to site with no cable or available stations. We did get a $5.00 refund. Will not book there again. Overall Rating:

This park is truly friendly (I know, they all say that but everyone here is quite friendly from staff to residents). This was our first winter here and if we were returning to Florida next year, we would choose this park, hands down. Very well kept grounds, reasonable price, owners that care. We were on a grass site which wasn't much of an issue because the park drains very well. Tons of activities if you're into that. You can throw a rock and hit the Winn Dixie, so convenient. Trains are frequent and are just across the street is the only negative. I would def recommend this park but would recommend a site in the back new section (away from trains). We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our second trip to this campground. It had been a couple of years since we were last there, they have expanded to nearly double the size and made a lot of improvements. The staff does their job. If you need a map, you have to ask for it, they do not volunteer any information. The grounds were very well kept, and it's a very pleasant looking park. I didn't know there was a dog run, until I read about it in here. A lot of snow birds, and there were plenty of people enjoying the heated pool. A nice, new billiard room with, what looked like, 2 new tables. A lot of activities going on all the time. However, the big drawback for me is the trains. They run day and night and if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Maybe if you were further back in the park, it wouldn't be as bad, but we were up front and the train horns were very annoying. Good paved interior roads and concrete patios. No picnic tables. Decent free wifi, and they allow 2 devices per password. Shuffleboard, horseshoes also available. The people staying here were all very nice and friendly. We were in the very front, used for short timers and the hookups for water/sewer/elec. for the next site, are right next to your patio. Our neighbor's slide was actually a little over on our patio. Not sure I would stay here again, unless I was in the very back of the park, away from the constant noise from the trains. They go by nearly every hour. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 8 days. Trains going by. Nice concrete patio.Trains going by. Super clean park, lovely laundry. Trains going by. Don't be late for Bingo because you can't play at all if you are late. Trains going by. Head of maintenance has an issue with tow dollies. Trains going by. The lady checking us in said we could have our dolly on our lot but Mister Maintenance Head guy didn't like it and let us know it. My husband witnessed an old lady at the front desk treat a customer horribly. She was just asking about staying next year the same 2 months. She just asked about the rate and the old lady at the desk was really nasty. The CUSTOMER apologized and left. Nobody told us where anything was. I had no idea there was a dog run. I did see some people come back from the pool, so I guess there was one there. Did I mention trains going by. The staff could use a little brush up on customer service. We have a few power mad elderly using their power in the wrong way. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I absolutely loved Paradise Oaks! From our first visit, when we were showed around the campground by a camp host to him knocking on our door and picking us up to get our rental golf cart, the service was above par. This was definitely the friendliest campground we've ever been to. We stayed there to see the Tampa RV Show and actually met the campground owners there. They took time to talk to us and were super friendly. Plenty of amenities and special events. They have golf cart rentals at a super price - $80 a week. It was fun to drive around and visit with everyone - seasonal and transient visitors. The only thing that would prevent me from staying here for an entire season is that Bushnell doesn't have a lot to offer. Yes, The Villages are 30 minutes away, Tampa is a good hour away, and that was the only issue. Everything was at least an hour away. I would go stir crazy here if I stayed for months. Other than that, our stay was fantastic and we look forward to going back. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice newer park. Concrete pull thru near the front for short term and grass back in for longer term. All sites spacious and level. FHU, cable and wi-fi. Park is very clean with great amenities. Off leash dog park. Concrete patio with all sites. Catch and release pond. This park would be a 10+ except for two things; no cable and a nearby train track! This is a clean and neat park. Very well maintained. The sites are long enough for coach and toad. No tables, but level sites. Some of the pull through sites can be a bit close. Our neighbors awning was less than a foot from our window. But I didn't notice anyone else with that issue. There is no "golf course", no putting greens. Just a chipping course. The trains run day and night. By the third night you get kind of used to it, the 3:30 AM train woke me up every night, but the husband slept through it. We were with a rally, and they were very good about keeping us parked as a group in nearby sites. The kitchen was very nice and clean, as were the restrooms. The do sell propane, but no other supplies. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. Paved roads, large cement pads on the site. Friendly people. However they advertise it as a golf and RV resort. Simply put there is no golf course. This is disappointing as that is why we go to Florida. They do have a spot that goes around the park that they call a golf course, however there are no greens, just flags stuck in the ground. We ended up leaving a week early to go to a park with a golf course. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't called a few times to ask about the golf and was told it was a small chip and putt course. All in all not a very good experience. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Trains, trains, trains all day and night. If you play golf do not come here. The golf course does not have real greens. This campground needs some landscaping between sites for privacy purposes. This should not be classified as a resort. They advertise Wi-Fi but it is nonexistent. You can't even connect at most public buildings. Pluses are the buildings and grounds are kept very well. This is a clean and level park with cement patios, a nice pool and clubhouse and free Wi-Fi. That being said, we will never stay here again because it is almost on top of busy train tracks. The trains ran both north and south as frequently as every 45 minutes including all night long. As each train approached, they blasted the horns until they were well past the campground. Non-stop, disruptive noise. It is also odd that there is free Wi-Fi, but no cable. The "golf course" has no greens, just regular grass and runs along the edge the campground. Don't pick a site in that location if there are golfers around. The "golf course" doesn't look anything like the one pictured on their brochures. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were here with a motor home group rally and we got a reduced rate. This is a very nice park, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Immaculate landscaping and well kept. Wife used the heated pool and spa and said it was "thoroughly refreshing". Sites are very large, we had a pull through over 55 feet long. Great clubhouse and planned activities. Yes, a train runs through Bushnell and its route is only about 1/4 mile from the park. It is not unusual for parks to be next to railroads or under the airway for jetliners. We definitely will return to this park. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
