2 Parks near Cape Canaveral, Florida
Mar 2015 - $27.00
Very peaceful, small campground but each campsite was a good size. Beautiful sunsets from the camp's pier. Hosts were very helpful and attentive. Lots to do in the area so did not miss other amenities like swimming pool, gym or games areas. Will stay again when we are next in the area. - Louise King

This park is part of the Cape Canaveral Port Auth. It is located within sight of the shipping channel serving the Port. Cruise ships, Casino ships, tugs and container ships can be seen from the campground. Some water only sites are very close to the channel and have an unobstructed view. However, most of those sites slope quite a bit. This area also has a nice playground and picnic area. It is outside of the fenced in campground.
Our site was within the main fenced campground. It was not level front to back. Required 8"+ of leveling blocks for each front wheel. Electric and sewer were on the driver's side and water was 50'+ away on passenger's side. We were fine once setup. Other sites are more level. Some sites have concrete pads.
We were quite surprised how quiet the park and ship traffic was most of the time. We were near the public boat ramp into the channel.
Price is tiered to favor county residents.
We would consider staying here again if we needed to be in this specific area as was the case this time. - B D HOWie

We stayed at Jetty Park during the month of February and thoroughly enjoyed it. For this park, it's all about location; it's close to good restaurants and it's within close distance to the beach (less than 1/4 mile).
The park is also close to the cruise ship terminal; it's fun to go to the inlet and watch the cruise ships come and go. Plus, the submarine port is just across the inlet; it's interesting to watch them as well.
Our site (spot 311) was barely able to accommodate our 40' class A. It was difficult to find space in the spot to park the "toad" but it was manageable. Again, it's all about location, location, location. The site size problems were insignificant compared to the amenities of both the park and nearby things to do.
The staff at the office are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped with making future reservations as well as helping us with an medical emergency. Can't say enough about Salli Rink!!! - Maddog11

A very nice location and a nice park with many amenities that most parks wish they had. Walking distance from the beach, great bike trails, great security and a friendly staff. We hope to come here again for a longer stay. Not many bad things can be said, but to be picky, the grounds had a lot of dead leaves all around that should be raked up, the laundry room really needs an update bad, not much to found in the camp store as far as groceries, and really tight lots. The pluses outweigh the negatives but there is always room for improvement. Everyone is treated equally and fairly, not like some snooty campgrounds that treat people without class A motorhomes like second class citizens. Would I go again? In a heart beat. Would I recommend to friends? Absolutely. - Ernie_56
