This was our third time to stay at Jetty Park. One of the reasons we keep coming back is location, location, location. Jetty Park is close to the beach, fishing pier, cruise terminal and some very good places to eat; all within walking or biking distance of the campground. Our campsite consisted of a concrete pad for the MH to be placed on and a sand/grass area for the "patio" area. Some shade but we were close to our neighbors. Several good places to eat nearby: Fishlips, Grills, and a new found local watering hole by the name of "Sandbar." Some of the locals recommended it. Possibly some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. It's about 1 block east of Ron Jons right on the beach. The other reason we return is because of the incredibly helpful office staff. They were also an immense help when it came time to making reservations. My hat is off to them! We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

watch the cruise ships depart between 4 and 5 PM, ride bicycles to Manatee park (about 7 miles round trip), ride bicycles to Fishlips or Grills for lunch/dinner (about 2 miles roundtrip) and ride your bicycle to the Cocoa Beach pier. (about 8 miles roundtrip). It's all flat with no hills.

Loved it and returning in May 2017. The site we were in was not optimal but it was our first time here and just did not know the layout. This park is a short walk to the beach which is fantastic. The jetty has cruise ships in and out almost every day that you can watch. Also fishing at the jetty and off the pier once it reopens. Lots of good places close by to eat on Merritt Island - Cocoa Beach (Ron Jon's Surf Shop too). Be sure to go to Old Town Cocoa. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping in Cocoa, gambling on the ship daily if that is your thing, fishing, boating, beach. Easy to get in and out.Very well maintained. But watch out for the sand spurs - leave your shoes outside. Storms can be sudden and harsh so I pulled the awning in when not there and at night even though it was tied down.

Loved this campground! The location is fantastic; we have come to this beach for years but never stayed here before. What a treat! We came a few weeks after they reopened after Hurricane Matthew, and I suspect it's probably better than ever. The playground is brand new; they were still fixing the fishing pier. Short walk to the best beach on the East coast, IMO, and a few nice trails through the park as well. Great views of cruise ships coming and going through the port. We just missed a rocket launch during our stay; it would be a GREAT location for that.

As for the campground itself, the spaces are adequately sized, but you are definitely conscious of your neighbors. Many towards the beach are shaded, but not all. Our particular spot was a bit of a high-traffic area right next to the bathrooms, which wasn't ideal but not that much of a problem for us. The bathrooms & showers are probably the cleanest I've ever seen.

We will certainly be back in the future! We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

If you like the sound of the ocean and peace and quiet the rest of the time, you'll love this place. Spacious sites. 50% are shade and the rest sunny. Good phone and satellite coverage. NO Cable but antenna service was acceptable. Many concrete padded site. The rest are grass and sandy but firm. Access roads are wide and paved. Will stay a week next time. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful area. Plenty of shopping and water sports available. Close to cruise ship docks so you can watch large ships come and go.

Large state park play ground and picnic area next door but no one was there during our stay. Beach is walking distance and has restrooms, snack bar, inside eating and life guards on duty. Beach is white (sugar sand). Kennedy Space Center 12 mile area. Good for all day trip.

We stayed here with 2 grandkids. Great place for kids. Enjoyed the beach and pier. Office staff was friendly for the most part. Forget getting anyone to answer the phone. Had to move 5 times in one week so make your reservations months in advance. Limited 50 amp service that is essential in our 45 foot coach in 100 degree temperature. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a waterfront site. It did not have any utilities and generators were not allowed to run at night (though this was not posted in the area of the sites). Great area to watch cruise ships in/out of Port Canaveral or a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. Area is also open to the public visiting the park, so, lock up if you are heading over to the beach or pier and expect lots of others around, especially during summer. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beach and fishing pier are within walking distance. There is a camp store in the main campground (a good hike from the waterfront spaces) and a bait shop in the Port area, which warrants a drive or a bicycle at the least. Grills restaurant in the Port does have a nice Sunday brunch.

This park is part of the Cape Canaveral Port Auth. It is located within sight of the shipping channel serving the Port. Cruise ships, Casino ships, tugs and container ships can be seen from the campground. Some water only sites are very close to the channel and have an unobstructed view. However, most of those sites slope quite a bit. This area also has a nice playground and picnic area. It is outside of the fenced in campground.
Our site was within the main fenced campground. It was not level front to back. Required 8"+ of leveling blocks for each front wheel. Electric and sewer were on the driver's side and water was 50'+ away on passenger's side. We were fine once setup. Other sites are more level. Some sites have concrete pads.
We were quite surprised how quiet the park and ship traffic was most of the time. We were near the public boat ramp into the channel.
Price is tiered to favor county residents.
We would consider staying here again if we needed to be in this specific area as was the case this time. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Jetty Park during the month of February and thoroughly enjoyed it. For this park, it's all about location; it's close to good restaurants and it's within close distance to the beach (less than 1/4 mile).
The park is also close to the cruise ship terminal; it's fun to go to the inlet and watch the cruise ships come and go. Plus, the submarine port is just across the inlet; it's interesting to watch them as well.

Our site (spot 311) was barely able to accommodate our 40' class A. It was difficult to find space in the spot to park the "toad" but it was manageable. Again, it's all about location, location, location. The site size problems were insignificant compared to the amenities of both the park and nearby things to do.

The staff at the office are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped with making future reservations as well as helping us with an medical emergency. Can't say enough about Salli Rink!!! We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

For good seafood, both Fishlips and Grills are good choices. There was also a "Seafood Festival" during the weekend we were there. Many many choices of local seafood were available.

We live just about 10 minutes away from Jetty Park but love to go here as often as we can. The staff is very accommodating and the campground itself is beautiful. All sites are very easy to back in and set up, all have power and 30 amps, and most have sewer as well. The beach speaks for itself, and the fishing pier is a great place to go and either fish, or watch the cruise ships go by. If you can plan your trip around a rocket launch I highly recommend going to Jetty Park to watch it! We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Okay park that is right off the coast. You have access to a free fishing pier and beach. There are very few 50 amp or sewer sites available. Most are 30 amp w/water only concrete back-in sites. Water faucets are on wrong side every other space. Some are spacious (ours 119) and some are tight. Very little parking for toad. Nice people and store. Dump station and free good wifi. Will stay here again even though rather expensive for what you get. Its location can't be beat! We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

A very nice location and a nice park with many amenities that most parks wish they had. Walking distance from the beach, great bike trails, great security and a friendly staff. We hope to come here again for a longer stay. Not many bad things can be said, but to be picky, the grounds had a lot of dead leaves all around that should be raked up, the laundry room really needs an update bad, not much to found in the camp store as far as groceries, and really tight lots. The pluses outweigh the negatives but there is always room for improvement. Everyone is treated equally and fairly, not like some snooty campgrounds that treat people without class A motorhomes like second class citizens. Would I go again? In a heart beat. Would I recommend to friends? Absolutely. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay when seeing friends or family off on a cruise. It is right next to the exit to the Atlantic and you get quite a view of the ship coming through the canal heading out to sea. The park is nice, concrete pad, we had a large tree dragging the roof of the rv and would not allow the antenna to go up or turn, without a trimming. Friendly staff and accommodating us with a better site than one that was too short for our rig. We enjoyed our stay here and will return again. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground was "very nice" or a little better than "OK". We decided to stay here in order to visit NASA KSC and explore the National Seashore Park area. Given there is no camper parking within the National Seashore (which contains Kennedy Space Center), Jetty Park was a close enough alternative. Jetty Park's beach is very very nice and everything within the campground itself was clean and tidy and landscaped well. The campground was tight and small, however. Overall the campground is a decent base camp for other activities but in if itself is a little lower on the scale as a destination. I would not be returning unless visiting NASA or the National Seashore area. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

While the park was "OK" I wasn't particularly thrilled with Cape Canaveral area south of the park, nor the immediate towns in close proximity. I didn't find the cruise ship terminals which you drive through to get to Jetty Park as an attraction. The area simply felt very industrial nearly like an industrial port.

NASA's Kennedy Space Center and Canaveral National Seashore are very close, just across the channel. But don't be fooled by a map. You must drive to the open areas of locations as much of the areas are governmental restricted. NASA was an incredible visit and the National Seashore a perfect 10 natal area beach unlike any other i have ever visited.

This campground is OK....not great. IMO its poorly designed with the fact that after you check-in at the office you must drive around the dump station to get to any sites. So if someone is using the dump station you must wait. Roads are all One Way and pad angles don't match with traffic flow. You need to circle around and go against the one way to be able to line up and back into your site. Roads are dusty and tight and sites are small. Cabins and RV sites are all mixed together. Utilities are properly located ( most sites ) and adequate. Camp store is lightly stocked and hosts are all friendly. We where woke up at 6am 2 mornings by barking dogs and guests could care less if their dogs are annoying. If we do visit this area again we will probably stay again because there is no other local campgrounds. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.
