Spots are head in at 90 degrees to very narrow road. Have to unhook tow vehicle just to maneuver roads. Large rigs had trouble getting in spots. Pad was not flat, could not get fully level without blocks under the jacks so we just lived with it. Wi-Fi unusable even when I went to laundry/rec room. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV park's main selling point is that it's a great location to a wonderful sandy beach. You can walk right across the road to the beach and bonus, the beach is dog friendly (on leash). The landscaping was nice, and the staff kept things in perfect shape, but these are very tight spots. I would not want to have a 45ft rig in 1 of their pull in sites. The pull thrus would be fine for larger rigs. The sites were pretty slanted which I don't usually expect for a higher priced private park but we were able to get leveled. The laundry was really nice with 5 double sized front loaders and 5 double sized dryers. They are very new and in great condition. The price was also affordable for $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry. There's a fenced in dog run and lots of good walking areas for dogs. They have a good sized store and all of the buildings were in good condition and clean. The bathrooms and showers were excellent. Strong 50 amp with cable. Park Wifi was very slow to the point of not really being usable. We used our hotspots. Verizon was 5.5 d/l and ATT was 25 d/l unboosted. Didn't try T mobile. Grocery shopping was not great. There's a small IGA nearby which was overpriced and not much else. No Walmart. So stock up. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For activities check out St George Island and Apalachicola is not to be missed. Great stores and restaurants and it's very quirky. The Oysters @ Hole in the Wall Oyster Bar were fantastic.

This is our second time staying here on a trip from the West Coast to East. We reserved and got a spot on end of a row facing the beach and US 98. Although there is traffic, it quiets down and night and the easy access to the beach far outweighs any issue the highway. The location of the park is great for access to the Forgotten Coast. We love the area with its feel of the Old South. There are NO HIGH RISE condos!!! We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have have camped here many years and enjoyed it. The park is pretty and appears well taken care of, but the lots are pretty tight and hard to maneuver through the streets and turns. Park doesn't have any shade from the hot summer sun. Restroom facilities are dated, but appear clean and well maintained. The pool is the best part, but this year we experienced something at the pool and will never return. This park is suppose to be kid friendly, but they allow smoking around their pool and kids play area. I do not want to be around smoke while swimming and I certainly don't want my kids to be around smoke EVER. I also witnessed an altercation between a young family and a rude smoker that was very unfortunate. I think smokers can take a break away from the pool area when they need to smoke and then return. We will not be back. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We really enjoyed this campground. It was a little tight to maneuver but our site was a drivethru and had plenty of parking room with a swing and picnic table. Landscaping was nice and everything was very neat. For $10 you can wash your motorhome, and we did. Small fenced dog park but sufficient. Across Hwy 98 to beach and during our visit, there were very few people. Beach is dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. Laundry takes credit cards which is helpful. Quiet little town, grocery 2 miles. Pool area was nice and large screened porch adjacent to laundry for visiting while waiting. Office staff friendly. We would definitely come back here. Tips for other Campers:

After registering and being assigned a site walk to it prior to driving to it. The ends of the loops were very tight for a 40' motor home. I was instructed as to how to get to our site but had I taken a different route it would have been easier to negotiate.

The camp store has RV supplies, some food, wine, beer, and candy. Pool was nice but not heated, no hot tub. Very close walk to the beach.

This park has two sections. The main section (west side) contains many pull-thrus, which are very close to each other and somewhat unlevel. The pads are too short to park your car or truck, so there were many vehicles in the street when we arrived at dusk on Friday night. We opted to stay in the new section (east side) in a concrete back-in site, which was very level and easy for our coach to fit. There was an additional parking pad for the car. They have some beach-feel landscaping that I had to work around to hook up connections. (It was really just in the way and not needed.) The laundry room was unlocked at night; there didn't appear to be a code in use. The washers and dryers will take either coins or credit card. There aren't many options for level concrete sites in the FL gulf coast area, so we were happy to find this park. Hopefully, we will have time to stay longer next time. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park location is fabulous--across the street from a white sandy beach that is dog friendly. The worst aspect is some of the palm trees are located right at site entrances and make it difficult to swing a big rig into a site, especially if a car is parked across from the lot. But it's a nice park, clean with concrete pads and a picnic table. If you are unfortunate enough to be assigned a spot in the adjacent park across from the entrance, it is not nearly as nice (no landscaping). We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We visit this campground 2010 when everything was new, now it was the second time to stay here.

What can I say, they build new cottages and some new sites but they didn't renew anything of the "old" part of the campground.

The restrooms and showers are old and not nice anymore (sometimes it's a good idea to change a restroom door or the shower curtains or fix some issues).

I was very unsatisfied to see this campground after 6 years again and I be sure, it is the last time.

To close the showers and restrooms between 9:30 and 11 am for cleaning (check out time is also 11 am) is an absolute NO-GO!!! We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy walk across one road for uncrowded and unspoiled beach. Lots of marine life to see--dolphins, rays, starfish, crabs, small sharks.

Carrabelle is close and has a neat little museum. St. George island worth a drive to the 9 miles of unspoiled beach in the park. Appalachicola, light houses nearby. Lots of "old Florida" to explore. Family friendly April-October and I hear mostly snowbirds Nov to March. We were here in October and it was very quiet.

A beautiful rv park in all ways: Landscaping, great concrete sites, picnic table, terrific pool with canopied areas with comfy seating, showers and restrooms very nice and accessible from all sites. Very nice sand beach just across the street, covered picnic areas there also. Easily the nicest and best rv facility in this stretch (Carrabelle to Apalachicola area). Just be aware that Carrabelle doesn't have a big choice of restaurants close by ---PLEASE NOTE: We were scheduled for a week but the park closed and we had to leave because of Hurricane Hermine. Only negative was the staff was confused as to status but we had to leave anyway.

If you go, stay there, eat at Red Pirate in Eastpoint and definitely Blue Parrot on St. George Island (assuming it's still there). Don't go into Harry's Package Liquor Store --- scary.

Nice park with paved pad. Ours was a little out of level side to side but easy enough to set up. Roads can be a little tight when there is a crowd. Nice pool and observation deck. Utilities were easy to hook up and worked well. Park is across the road from Carrabelle Beach (within easy walking distance) and very nice for family. Great pull-through site, and their reservation software let me pick my site 6 months out. Staff was super helpful and the local area for dining and relaxing was perfect. Lot of regulars at this camp, all very friendly. We are going back next year. We spend the morning at the beach and the afternoons around the pool and evenings in the shade enjoying the gulf breeze. Watch out for the yellow flies and no-see-ums in the evening. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Grab a quick hamburger in town at the Marathon service station. Buy ice across from marina at the cheap ice machine $2 for 20 lbs. I think a screen tent would be most useful in the summer and an outdoor fan.
