This was an overnight for us. You go to this park to get away. It's very quiet, a couple miles off I-10. Roads are 2-lane nicely paved until you get to the campground loop, where they are a little more than single-lane paved and old. Trees are trimmed high. We had gravel pullthru #19, which had the utilities too far forward to leave the truck in front of the camper without interfering with the P/T next to us. VERY shady and sites are roomy. There is a playground and a swim pond and pavilion. Some hiking, fishing and a waterfall. Ranger was terrific and fair connection to VzW (no WiFi). We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Small campground in the pines. Unfortunately they had just had a controlled burn in the park so it looked charred. Not much to do. Couple of short hikes to waterfall into sinkhole, which varies according to rainfall. It was only a trickle while I was there. There is a lake which has a small swimming beach. Nice picnic areas. No sewer, no Wifi, cell 2 bars on ATT. Site itself (16) was designated a pull through but not enough room to get my 36 foot MH in with out scrapping the sides with brush. Very tight space. This park is better designed for small RVs. Early departure ended with me stuck at the front gate with the gate arm malfunction. Finally called the park Manager who came down and activated the gate....said it always malfunctions with MH's.... Wish there had been advance notice of this issue. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on an overnight stop. It is very handy for that, since it is not far off Interstate 10. It appears to be in a somewhat small area/preserve in a region that is seeing some development. I reserved this site through Reserve America, which gives length information. The "Big Rig Access" to this site on the database is somewhat of a misnomer, at least for a trailer. My pull through site may have been appropriate for a big motorhome but was not for a long fifth wheel trailer. It wrapped around trees and we could only use it by carefully pulling straight in, staying hooked up and carefully backing out the next morning. I only saw one other site I would have been comfortable using, a back in. Motorhomes would probably not have the same problem. The staff at check in was very friendly. One of the young rangers came by to check on us soon after we came in, realizing we might be challenged by the site. The site itself was a real nice concrete pad with a fence on the back side. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, relaxing, small park. Well maintained park. Facilities are good. Most of the "hiking" is on boardwalks or concrete paths. Some optional short dirt trail hiking..easy. Biking is a workout. Hills. Nice well kept lake, beach and playground area. Mostly shaded sites. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

Don't miss the falls. Best in morning. Second is the sinkhole trail. Very interesting landscape. Chipley, a small town about 2 miles away is interesting. Plenty of shops.

Nice small campground in the pines. Not much to do. Couple of short hikes to waterfall into pothole sinkhole, which varies according to rainfall. There is a lake which has a small swimming beach. Nice picnic areas. No sewer, no wifi, cell 1-2 bars on ATT. Site itself (8) nicely situated, backing up to woods. Plenty long enough for 36ft MH and jeep. Chipley closest town, lots of fast food and a Walmart. Nice area just to relax in th e woods. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

Rainy day so we didn't walk to the falls. This is a very nice State park. Our only problem was our site which was a pull thru that was wrapped around some trees. The hump in the middle wouldn't let us use our levelers so we had to drive around and set up with electric and water on the wrong side. This was just an overnight stop and we would come back again. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

The park ranger called us while we were in transit to ensure that we knew how to get into the park after hours. We made it before the main gate closed, he was very nice and informative. This is a small park with a RV and tent section. The first 5 or 6 sites had concrete pads. The "falls" were dry due to a lack of recent rain. The park was beautiful with easy trails to the sink holes and falls. We would stay there again. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

Most sites looked level, ours was narrow and uneven. Nice boardwalk to the falls & swimming area, good trails. The roads were paved and gravel sites, a lot of trees so no satellite, ATT worked well. Not far off of I-10. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice small clean campground and park, but a lot to see. Level sandy, shady sites. Showers/restrooms clean. Some construction going on, but still enough hiking trails to satisfy. Asphalt roads to bike on. Hilly. Interesting sink holes and some local history. Good signage. It rained hard one day, but campsites drained well. Great staff. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for one night. Watch for low branches on the drive to the park entrance. Checking-in was easy because we had reserved online, extra fee of $6.70. Since it was a little distance from the check-in area back to the campground we inquired if we needed to unhook the car. She said "yes, there is no room back there." We thought that she should have told us that automatically. We were in #2 so had to drive around the whole campground loop to get to our back-in site. We were there during some bad storms so did not get to hike or see the waterfall. There is no sewer but a dump is available. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

This park is located on a hill. We have a 38 ft RV and even though we stayed in a pull through, we had difficulty getting in and out because of the narrow roads. We did not see the falls because of the dry conditions. This was our second time at this park, but our previous stay was in a 31 ft class C. We had no issues with that rig.

we probably won't stay here again because of the narrow roads. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park was clean and just finished some upgrades and repairs prior to our arrival. Some construction barricades still exist but posed no real interference to daily camping life. Our gravel site was a little un-level, we added 3 and 1/2 inches to the entry side and it was camp on! The park was pet friendly except for the swimming area. We enjoyed the friendly service from all and in the evenings the park was quite. We stayed here with our two beagles and would stop here again. This is a quiet campground, convenient to Route 10. Sites are mostly gravel and some are small and difficult to back into. If you have a big rig, I suggest you call the campground to discuss site sizes before booking online. Bathrooms and showers, while not huge, are clean. The playground inside the campground is no longer there. However there is a beautiful playground and picnic area in the public portion of the park which also has a small swimming lake. There are nice, woodsy trails to the falls and sinkhole areas. Good for a few days stop. Rangers and staff are all quite nice. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Small convenient park off I-10. Perfect for a short stay but would not be a destination park for me. Bathrooms were spotless every time I went in. Sites vary in size and privacy. Some looked very level, others required some extra help. Nice trail system to stretch the legs but not a challenge. Water fall was flowing and worth the walk. Chipley is a small town but has basic amenities and just a short drive down the road. I would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.
