2 Parks near Chokoloskee Island, Florida
Feb 2013 - $45.00
We stayed here during the Everglades City Seafood Festival, so the park was full. The prior management had messed up our reservation and had us arriving and leaving a day earlier. The new management went above and beyond to make sure that we were not inconvenienced and found a resolution. The lots are small and very close, most are pretty dusty. That said, we really enjoyed our time here. Our neighbors were friendly and fun. The views are amazing and the sunsets simply gorgeous. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Although there aren't many trees, the management has recently added some plantings to help the overall appearance of the park. Although we enjoyed our stay and plan to return, this park isn't for everyone. It is pretty basic. But, the location is great and we really enjoyed our stay. - KnKFR
Sep 2012 - $49.00
Quaint, charming campground. Sites are small, but the charm and the people make up for it. Great managers, some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. We go there often. If you love to fish, you will love this campground. - sugarsmom

Jan 2016 - $60.00
The park is very quiet and well maintained by the owners. We camped in our 32 ft. motorhome for the month of January. The bike riding is very good. The fishing was good. While we were there we had seven inches of sea water come flowing through our campsite and had the threat of the same thing happening a week later. The owner said it was a rare event but other owners said it happens but usually only in the summer. Because of this flooding possibility we will not return again. - pbhb
Jan 2016 - $79.00
Park is nice, staff/manager not. Maybe they don't like walk in's or it was because of New Year, but we didn't feel welcome. The manager couldn't hardly say "hello". But the main reason for my rating is the price of $ 79, which is $10 higher than posted on their web page. We've been told that there was a price increase before Christmas but they forgot to change it on the web.
Beside that, the campground is very good, offers a boat ramp as well as boat rentals.
Bathrooms are a clean and well maintained. Site have concrete pads with double water connections, 30/50 amp and sewer. You have some privacy as they are build like tropical gardens with surrounding palm trees.
We would not return. - GermanTraveller

Each site appears different in size, parking surface and landscaping. Our site was totally paved for parking both 5th wheel and truck, on a corner, across the street from the water, and had lawn. The roads are very narrow and the turns very tight and we were just able to navigate our 34 foot 5th wheel without hitting trees or fences. A $20 cash deposit is required for the gate card. We used our satellite but we were offered a cable box. The resort entrance is up the highway from the registration office which has no place to park when you register. We made the mistake of pulling in next to the office and then had to back up onto the highway. No one escorted us to our site and the map was not easy to follow. - BandPS
