I love this park! We discovered it last fall when we were driving home from a race and wanted a place to stop for the night. We had a DP pulling a 32ft enclosed trailer. They were able to find us a site without us unhooking. We became fans on that day. We spent New Years here and go for the occasional weekend so we have a good feel for the different times of the year in this park.
Rustic meets modern is a good word to describe it. This is a safe place with lots of trees, winding dirt roads and plenty of room to work around it. Easy in and out off the main road.
The park is a mishmash of woods and charm mixed with sheds, outbuildings and some older campers. Throw in a few Airstreams and huge late model busses. If you are looking for upscale beauty this may not be the place for you. We love it for the old Florida feel. A good number of the folks are full timers and we have found them to be friendly and welcoming. The park is very quiet at night. Around 8:00am people start to stir, talk outside, trash is picked up. It is not super noisy, but it is worth noting.
Sites have 50amp with good water pressure. The ground is grass or hard gravel. The trees are kept trimmed. We have never had an issue leveling.
The game room has a huge TV, sofa's, pool table, games etc.
Bathrooms are spotless.
We have a 41ft DP and have plenty of room to put out all four slides. We have, on occasion had issues getting our satellite to work because of all the trees. They do advertise WIFI but we bring our own hotspot.
The office hours are very short. They have open sites after hours. You drive up to registration and they have slips with what sites are available. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Motorhome.
The surrounding area has a few museums and a reptile zoo.

Pretty roomy sites, however all dirt or grass, all roads dirt. There are a few spots here and there with a concrete patio available. No fire pit and a small picnic table. Low water pressure. The hosts seem nice enough, however they work very limited hours so you hardly see them. The office is only open 0900-1:00pm. No store but they do have a small kitchen that they sell some food items. This place would get a ten except for potholes and with rain it can get soggy at the campsites. People have complained about the water taste and smell and I did not have that experience at all!! The staff was very nice and helpful and the restrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen. Great over the air TV and didn't use my satellite. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Rate reflects summer rate and includes tax. First time here. We enjoyed our stay. Nice folks and well maintained. Nice pool. Went to the nearby Orlando Wetlands several times and walked and biked the many trails. Great for bird watching. Didn't notice the water being too bad, but we always drink bottled water. It's definitely a snowbird park with many unoccupied trailers "parked" at sites for the summer, but wasn't a problem. It's under new management and I hope they keep the park just as nice. We will return. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Visited for a quick overnight stop. The campground is close to a river and we could hear airboats in the distance until dark. Not a problem, just an observation as we don't hear airboats often. Later in the night, I heard a whippoorwill for the first time in years. The park is older catering to longer term visitors, but offered us all we needed for a quick stay. Staff is friendly, grounds are clean, and we only saw a few visitors (a family and 2 couples). Everyone was nice and it was very quiet even though close to a highway. We would stay here again. The rate reflects a winter monthly rate per night. The friendliest people in the world frequent this park as snowbirds. Many activities available if you wish to participate. The six rating is due to unpaved interior roads and an archaic water system which will not change anytime soon. The sulfur smell in the water is overwhelming at times. We triple filter our water when here and buy drinking water in nearby Titusville. Two laundries are available on site; however, clothes come out smelling like the water. This park is convenient to the Space Coast , air boat rides, and Orlando Wetlands park. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Concur with most of the previous comments. What makes this park great is the friendly guests who come for the winter. We stayed here for several months and had a terrific time, met lots of great folks, and participated in those activities we enjoy. The staff is wonderful as well. Things I would like to see changed: more days that the pool is open and kept at a warmer temp, water purified so the sulfur smell doesn't come through (especially in your laundry), and a better understanding of what standard charges are out in the RV world as most parks prorate portions of months. We loved the people and the convenience of things on the East Coast of Florida. We most likely will return. We stayed here in a fifth wheel. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We stayed here two months. The staff is very friendly and they work hard to keep the place clean. Although we didn't choose to participate they offered a lot of activities if you enjoy the group stuff. They only negatives were the price is a bit high in season if you don't pay a large deposit in advance. They charge extra for everything from electric, washing your car, to parking an extra vehicle, even if they have a ton of extra space available. I certainly didn't understand having to pay $5 a night for a visitor when we were paying for the electric separate anyway. The noise level at times was excessive for the hour of the day. For example, chainsaws at 7 AM when they decided to do tree trimming and air boats in the middle of the night from local hunters in nearby swamps. We would stay here again if we needed somewhere for a few nights, but as full timers we won't be staying again long term. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here and fell in love with this campground. The park is an older park but very well maintained. The manager and all the workers were extremely nice and very easy to talk to. We were very impressed with how well this park was maintained and how clean the bathrooms and showers were. The pool was wonderful and also very clean. We will be coming back for a much longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay on the east coast of Florida. We camped at Christmas RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
