This was our favorite private park in Florida. Even on grass, the site was level and staff helped us back in. Sites are very nice size, with well-kept grassy areas. You could tell areas where they're replanting grass where the edges might be sparse. A regular resident told us they have been filling in low spots, and we didn't see mud. I wasn't at all offended by the stored campers. In fact, it was fun to see where they were from, and the storage area was tidy. It's obvious the owners take great pride in how they maintain their park. We enjoyed walks around the park, and could get to local attractions quite easily. I feel very safe here, and I'm looking forward to a park wide dinner tomorrow night, as well as free coffee and donuts in the morning. This is a gem. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
One of the largest Skechers stores is just down the street.

Small older Florida park. Mostly park models and long term RV. Sites are all grass and mud; lots of mud. Site areas are very rutted, uneven, and not level. Small off leash dog park, also lots of mud. Large RV storage area is in center of the park, while gives the whole park a dirty and unkempt look.
Has cable, WiFi, Pool area and a play area ( also in the mud). We would not stay here again. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $16.00
A bit dog eared, but not unsightly. Staff pleasant and accommodating - sites on grass/gravel and since it rained - did not use jacks - a bit out of level, but ok. Convenient to everything - Exit out back gate (uses code) saves cuss words learned/used if left turn from entrance needed during departure. Study the roads out back gate and it's simple and pleasant - except when classes at nearby HS getting out or !!! Will stay here again. Passport ends on 12/31 for season. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Motorhome.
Lots of good restaurants and shopping west of CG on same road.

We had reservations for 4 days and called ahead because we were coming in early. They were so accommodating and able to get us in early that we decided to stay another night. The bathrooms, showers and laundry rooms were very clean. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful that we would highly recommend this place. Close to many stores and about 10 minutes to the beach. Plus the spots were a little tight but we got it in. We have a 42' 5th wheel toyhauler so the spots were just large enough. It was such a nice place with friendly people staying in the park that we would highly recommend this rv resort. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $39.00
Stayed 1 week at weekly rate of $275. Very clean bathroom, but one shower stall in the ladies room was very slow in draining (3 inches of water standing after a shower); later fixed. They have terrible wi-fi; too many campers using it. We were in the Overflow campsite 2 to be near the bath-house. Lots of permanent campers here. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Motorhome.
One good thing to know -- in nearby Port Richey, we rented a car for only $150/week from Cheep Rental Car.
Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $39.00
We camped here at a half price rate of $19.50 with our passport america, since it was still out of season. The pool, bathrooms, showers, and community areas were all in very good condition (our only problem was that the two times my husband used the bathroom, the motion sensor light turned the lights out after 6 minutes, leaving him in the pitch dark to finish up and try to find the exit.) I've marked the park low because of the problems at the RV sites themselves: our site was supposed to have cable, but they had already stopped cable service because the snowbirds would be coming in a couple of weeks and would be paying for their own installations; our site was a combination of grass and mud, no trees or any other shrubs, and our patio (and the others we observed) were only six feet wide and so old, cracked and driven over that they didn't offer any relief from the mud and dirt. This park would be suitable for a stay of one or two days, but we wouldn't deal with any longer than that. And the traffic on SR 60 (Gulf to Bay) leading to Clearwater Beach is horrendous. We stayed a month. The park facilities and amenities were top rate. Great location. The office staff were helpful. Propane is cheap. The sites need work. All concrete pads were cracked and broken. When it rains it is a muddy mess. One day the tow truck was needed to pull 3 vehicles out of the mud. I would stay here again. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $19.00
This is a clean, well maintained with grassy sites, level both side to side and front to back. Each site has a concrete patio and picnic table. You can see the pride they have in keeping this a very nice park. Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel right at home. Wi-Fi was excellent, 50 amp electric worked well with no power problems whatsoever. If visiting the Clearwater area we highly recommend this park and we would definitely return. Price reflects the monthly rate. We spent 30 days in this park while needing to be near Largo, FL during the month of June. Even though it was the off season the place has a communal feel to it. The resident managers must be the reason for the friendly atmosphere of this place. They are always about maintaining the place during the day or just walking the circuit and saying hello in the evening hours. We felt welcome from day one. We travel with five children and it is one of the few places we found in the area that did not bat an eye at our kids. A huge outdoor grill and a rec room that had a nicely stocked kitchen really helped save on AC inside the rig because it allowed for cooking outside. The pool was a must visit on a daily basis with the FL heat. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This park has a great location to the Clearwater area, easy access to beaches, shopping and the activities in Tampa. We stayed for a month and had a grassy site, level with full hookups. The staff was friendly and helpful finding us a site though it was high season. The pool area is clean and inviting with a children's playground nearby, but it never seemed noisy. The park is quiet, with a mix of RVs and residences. The shower house and laundry are clean and well maintained. Looking forward to staying next year. Campground is close to the beaches and is very well kept. Our site was large and included a concrete pad and picnic table. There are some permanent residents in single wide park models, but more transients. Nice pool. Very good, free internet. Biggest eyesore is the RV storage lot, right in the middle of the park with no fencing. Staff and residents are friendly. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Very good passport off season park - which shows in rate, Clean and neat right near downtown and shore. Charge for cable, which we did not use, but DTV was adequate. Our site was on firm ground under a big tree whose shade helped off season temperatures. Staff very helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Centrally located, very well maintained park. Personnel were very friendly. Nice level grass lots with the utilities located smartly. We will stay here again. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $42.00
This place is actually a mobile home park with a few empty lots they rent out to travellers. It is very much like parking your rig on someone's front lawn. Hard to find, you pull into the driveway between the Days Inn and a bar, then the tv park is in the back of the parking lot. Weird. Nice looking pool, but we didn't use it. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Laundry was good and cheap. Folks were friendly. It's tough to find from 60 if you don't get directions. Call and it's easy. Only about a mile from a Costco Warehouse where gas is cheaper. Got the Good Sam discount here. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
