I had a partially shaded site- shade is rare here. Pool was very nice. Cable was good. No WiFi that I could pick up. Only 110 volts was a surprise with no one here. The traffic on Rt 27 has become a very big problem. Stop light to stoplight and no way to average but 30 mph. But that's not the campgrounds problem and I would stay again if in the area. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Arrived after office closed. Left next morning before office opened. Park had many available sites. No picnic table at our site, but all other sites had them. Easy in and out. Office staff called later the day we left to confirm we had stayed. Said we owed $4 from reservation. I suggested they write it off, because no picnic table. They charged my credit card anyway. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This now is our 2nd year that we stayed for a month or more. Large lots, with storage too for my toy hauler trailer. Very nice pools and when I flew in my 2 granddaughters, there was no additional costs for visitors. Park is less than 7 miles from Disney. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nothing "magical" about Lake Magic! First of all, we made a reservation 3 mos ahead for 4 days during the Christmas season. We reserved 2 sites, NEXT to each other, with full hook up. When I called several days prior to our arrival, the woman at the desk said 1 site was near the entrance and the other was clear across the RV park! She said she'd try to get us closer but, in the end, we were still 4 sites apart and my mother is in a wheel chair! So much for camping "together". And it was a decent walk to the nearest bath house and WAY far away from the laundry facilities. Secondly, you can hardly call this an RV "resort"; more like a walmart parking lot! There are possibly a dozen trees on the entire property so it's like camping in the Sahara even during the holidays! And most of the parking pads are composed of giant white rock that isn't the least bit smooth, making leveling your trailer a nightmare! The few with concrete pads and trees are, of course, extra and slim pickings. The pool is very cold and no one there is under the age of 65. The only place for garbage collection is outside the main entrance. The bath houses have dirty grout, hair in the drains and uncollected trash in the waste basket. Within 15 minutes, we decided this was not the place promised us on the website (or even on the glossy brochure handed us at checkin) so we requested a refund for, what we feel like, is false advertisement. After speaking with the front desk, we were told no refunds are ever issued and the best she could do is offer a voucher for a future Encore RV site stay. So moving forward, I guess we'll request a drive through of any future sites we reserve BEFORE any payment is made. They market this as a friendly outdoor/camping experience just 6 miles from Disney. In reality, it's simply a retirement community for snow birds who'd rather not be bothered by the "strangers". We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Have stayed here in years past and always enjoyed it. Its still a very nice location. The lady at the gate was great. The site was well cared for and utilities worked fine. I got 115v on electric with a/c running: I'm impressed. Got satellite ok, plus had some shade. Pool was a relief from the heat and very clean with nice furniture. Passport rates. We will return. Tips for other Campers:

If out for dinner I would go west towards Clermont. Going east goes towards Kissimmee means terrible traffic - even in the summer.

Loved this RV Resort. We stumbled upon it while looking for a place to leave our RV while renting a villa at Windsor Hills Vacation rentals as we live in it full time. Some shaded sites, lots of open sites, narrow but long sites, lots of long term people, many nicely cared for pre-fab small homes, area was neat and clean, prices were reasonable, it was quiet, our site was level, our hot spot WiFi worked great, full hook-ups all worked, our first site was cement but our second was gravel. People were friendly, the staff was friendly, the facilities are clean, lots to do and many activities if you are so inclined. My only complaint was the careless golf cart driving of their guests. While in our towed, I almost got run off the road twice by elder patrons driving the wrong way, completely ignoring the large arrow directional signs and speeding by me to cut in front of me and turn. Other than that, we both enjoyed our stay. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

My husband and I stayed at Lake Magic from December 01 to March 31 and really enjoyed the resort. Prior to our arrival at Lake Magic, we stayed at another RV resort further north and decided to drive down toward Kissimmee to see what we could find closer, as we had purchased annual Walt Disney passes We visited numerous RV campgrounds and so-called "resorts" in the area (Winter Haven, Clermont, Orlando) and were quite taken aback by them. We stumbled upon Lake Magic by accident and decided to book the rest of our stay there.

Lake Magic has large, paved sites and the hook-ups are easy to connect to and where they should be (i.e., not way in the back of the site). There is minimal shade in the resort near the sites, but we prefer that as we have a satellite dish. Cable TV is offered at the park, for an additional fee; however, we did not utilize it. I have heard though that the cable reception is wonderful at the individual sites.

There are laundry facilities onsite that are managed by an outside vendor and, although the machines are older, they work perfectly fine. Washing machine is $2 per load and the dryers are $2 per load as well. There is a laundry facility directly across the road near Publix, however, it is quite pricey.

There are two pools located on the property, one next to the clubhouse, and the other one next to the laundry facility. Both are good sized pools and have plenty of lounge seating. The resort also offers pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, and tennis courts, as well as a playground for kids and a basketball hoop. There are a LOT of activities to be had at this RV resort if one so chooses to participate, such as Bingo, Poker, various crafts, movie nights, pool parties, etc.

We will be returning in the fall. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Booked for a month-would have left sooner if they'd given refund of any kind. Overrated, no maintenance performed, no customer service-they don't want to interact with customers. Fire ants everywhere. Activities-no direction. If you're not over 70+ yrs old you don't even get to know anyone. RV guides like Trailer Life have overrated this place. Would be great for few days at Disney but not month(s). We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

They sub-rent spaces to a rental agency that books/rents camping trailers. They are in and out 24 hrs a day. Not told to you in any booking or advertisements. They set and clean trailers on about 5-6 spaces every day, almost 24 hrs a day. People that run office have never owned an RV or camper. Younger folks that just have a job. Not professional, nor caring for campers.

Rudest front desk we have ever experienced. We reserved a particular sites months in advance since this site had one of the few trees and offered easy access to the pool for our kids. They changed our site without notice, obviously hoping we would not notice. When we politely complained, the woman (not lady) that made the change gave us a “whatever”. She clearly did not care if we left, which must be great for the owners. She also complained about having worked there for so long, so she has probably been a long-running issue (see previous posts). Otherwise, the park is close to Disney and all other attractions, but that is all is has to offer. No shade, not a tree in sight. There is nothing going on at this park activity wise. It is clean with level sites. The garbage is outside the park, which is incredibly inconvenient. There are two pools and one hot tub at the big pool. You cannot use any of them after dusk. It is not gated which seems real strange to me, but we have never had any issues. We tried this park for a change, but will go back to another, even though it is not perfect. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park met out short terms needs for one week. All sites are preassigned. It was clean and quiet and close to the Disney activities. Internet access was available, but on a paid basis only. We did have cable included in the rate. There were two pools in different spots in the park. The grounds were clean and maintained. We travel with an extra small trailer and had to park it away from our site at an overflow area. This is also where the trash is located. Our daily rate reflects a weekly rate. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lots of good things about this park, stayed 6 weeks during the high season. Our second visit. Not the most high end park we have ever visited, but everything you need and then some. Main pool kept at 86 degrees, clean and refreshing, hot tub plenty warm and enjoyed by many. We had a paved site near the main pool and clubhouse. Sites are generously sized. Great walking or biking -- 2.1 miles if you follow the outer loops around the park; more if you add some of the interior loops. Nice sized dog play area, plenty of rest rooms for the size of the park, although most units were self contained. Did not use the laundry this year but I did hear that it was going downhill. There is a brand new laundry facility nearby, located across the highway (U.S. 192) from the main entrance to the park, adjacent to the Publix grocery store. It's ideal for big items like bedspreads, etc. Not an overwhelming amount of activities in season but the ones I attended were enjoyable. Very close to Disney, Kissimmee, Orlando, etc. Wonderful, friendly neighbors throughout the park, plus helpful, friendly staff. Lake Magic is used as an "out" week facility for the nearby Thousand Trails, and many TT members told me they preferred Lake Magic overall. A perfect place for a long term stay, and we plan to return. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We find Lake Magic a consistently nice place to stop. The Passport price helps too. Cable was good but Wi-fi costs. Close to everything. Garbage drop off at exit is a real pain. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate I quoted is the monthly summer rate. Winter is more expensive. This is perhaps the best kept campground I have ever stayed in. Beautiful landscaping, 2 pools, club house, shuffle board and a tiny playground. Mail boxes available, showers and bathrooms. Not shady, but certainly nice. Has the resort feel. Nine miles from Animal Kingdom. Nice staff too. Quiet (in the summer). I would stay here again. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Lake Magic for the winter. It's close proximity to Disney World is a huge plus for us. It is 10-15 minutes to the main gate. Plenty of great restaurants close by and any kind of shopping you need. The staff is good and there are plenty of activities during the winter. The site we were in was a back-in, concrete pad with patio. Cable is free, but Wi-Fi you have to pay for if you want it at your site. Free in the clubhouse. Two pools and clean restrooms. We have already signed up to return in November. We camped at Encore Lake Magic RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Lake Magic for the past two winters. The management has changed over the last two years and not for the better. The pools are set at 82 degrees and are cold. The one pool was down most of the winter. They have lots of activities over the winter months but seem to stop come the end of March where as in the year 2012 they went through April. The laundry room has old equipment and does not work well. The park seem to be going downhill from last year. It is questionable if I would stay here again or not.
