18 Parks near Cocoa, Florida
Jan 2015 - $45.00
Campground management was helpful and friendly. Restrooms and laundry were clean and well-maintained. WiFi was fine although it had to be purchased and the purchase process was somewhat clunky. The campground doesn't get a higher review only because of two considerations: the sites are really jammed together with eccentric hookup locations; and the noise from I-95 is fairly oppressive. Still, if we were in the area again, I'd be fine with staying here. - Kaz
Jul 2013 - $25.00
This a pleasant enough park for short term travelers like us who want to tour the area. Staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We didn't use the fee based Wi-Fi. Traffic noise from I-95 is quite noticeable, but not bothersome to us. We would stay here again when in the area. - Roger H.
Feb 2013 - $43.00
I felt like I was staying in the median strip of Interstate 95; the noise from traffic was relentless and nonstop. Small pool was dirty during our entire stay. Rate reflects a weeks stay. We were happy to leave and would not return. - Snidely Whiplash
May 2016 - $45.00
A gem of a CG. Management is friendly and obviously takes pride in their park. Sites are FHU/30/50, spacious, level grass with concrete patios and a picnic table. Landscaping is manicured. No fire rings. Immaculate, clean, heated pool. Restrooms are older but fixtures are modern and facilities are very clean. Laundry is $1.50 wash, $0.75 dry. Propane is available at $3.78/gal. Minor freeway noise but not bad. Permanent residents have clean sites. Easy access from I-95. - StephenK
Mar 2015 - $45.00
This is a nice quiet park (with the exception of being about .5 from I-95). The rate includes free wifi which works well. Unfortunately, there is no cable TV so the rate paid seems a bit high. The sites are very wide and spacious with full grass and small (10 x 15) cement pad. As it's late March it's hard to say how full they get, but the park is now 3/4 empty as most snowbirds have likely left. Washrooms are very clean. Nice club house. - gypsy parrotheads
Feb 2008 - $39.00
Would have gave a higher rating but the lady manager has a very negative attitude. She really acted like she hated dealing with the public anytime we saw her. The park is a very nice 55+ park with wide sites with the water and electric hookups behind the RV. All sites are back in. The pool was very nice as was the rec hall. But it is over priced for location, next to I-95. - Teacher's Pet
Nov 2015 - $44.00
We have been here before, Encore owns this property now. Also owns the mobile home park next door. At the time we were here Barnes Blvd. was under construction, only one way to enter park. They had signs posted for detours. Price is reflects weekly rate. Bathrooms & showers were very clean. No open fires allowed in Bevard county. - myriad
Nov 2015 - $69.00
I would stay there again. Large pull though sites with trees. I wish they had cable and it would have been perfect. Staff was friendly and everything was clean. Fellow campers were great also. We will be back. - al alvarez
Jul 2015 - $54.00
Stayed for 2 weeks in a motorhome. Convenient central Brevard county location. Very clean and well maintained and pet friendly. Daily garbage pickup at site. Good WiFi available for a cost. We got the weekly rate and since it was summer and few customers they gave us a discount break. I wouldn't count getting it any longer as they had recently been bought out by Encore and unless you are an member it is pretty expensive to stay. - rollincritters

Dec 2012 - $13.00
Rate based on a weekly rate. Park is right on the Banana River. There is a smell, but there's also a smell at Manatee Hammock and Patrick AFB. Must be the area. The park is big. There are fishing piers at the water-side sites, and a large fishing pier for the other campers. They have a nice boat ramp and boat slips, and 2 canoe launches. No sewer or cable. You can see the cruise ships docked at Port Canaveral. Birds, seagulls, pelicans, dolphins, manatees, alligators, turtles, are some of the wildlife we have seen. We will camp here again. There's a lot to do and see in the area including Kennedy Space Center, Port and Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Village and Beach, Titusville all of which are less than a 30 minute drive. - kgkaroonie
Feb 2012 - $15.00
This park is now available to retired military, so we decided to try it out for 3 nights. There are sites along the river with a very nice view, but we noticed an odor of stagnant water, so we went a bit farther down the road and parked out in the fields. They do not assign the spots, you drive around and pick your own. There is a large grassy field with hook ups in different areas. We just happened to get one with 50 amps, the ones along the river are 30 amp, and the charge is $20 for the view. We had a nice view from our site and no odor, for $15. There were only about 40 campers here all spread out in a very large area. It was very quiet and we saw 30 manatees around the boat docks. We will definitely stay here again. - Mistymay
Mar 2015 - $27.00
Very peaceful, small campground but each campsite was a good size. Beautiful sunsets from the camp's pier. Hosts were very helpful and attentive. Lots to do in the area so did not miss other amenities like swimming pool, gym or games areas. Will stay again when we are next in the area. - Louise King
Jul 2016 - $46.00
We stayed here with 2 grandkids. Great place for kids. Enjoyed the beach and pier. Office staff was friendly for the most part. Forget getting anyone to answer the phone. Had to move 5 times in one week so make your reservations months in advance. Limited 50 amp service that is essential in our 45 foot coach in 100 degree temperature. - cc45
Apr 2016 - $40.00
This park is part of the Cape Canaveral Port Auth. It is located within sight of the shipping channel serving the Port. Cruise ships, Casino ships, tugs and container ships can be seen from the campground. Some water only sites are very close to the channel and have an unobstructed view. However, most of those sites slope quite a bit. This area also has a nice playground and picnic area. It is outside of the fenced in campground.
Our site was within the main fenced campground. It was not level front to back. Required 8"+ of leveling blocks for each front wheel. Electric and sewer were on the driver's side and water was 50'+ away on passenger's side. We were fine once setup. Other sites are more level. Some sites have concrete pads.
We were quite surprised how quiet the park and ship traffic was most of the time. We were near the public boat ramp into the channel.
Price is tiered to favor county residents.
We would consider staying here again if we needed to be in this specific area as was the case this time. - B D HOWie
Mar 2016 - $26.00
We live just about 10 minutes away from Jetty Park but love to go here as often as we can. The staff is very accommodating and the campground itself is beautiful. All sites are very easy to back in and set up, all have power and 30 amps, and most have sewer as well. The beach speaks for itself, and the fishing pier is a great place to go and either fish, or watch the cruise ships go by. If you can plan your trip around a rocket launch I highly recommend going to Jetty Park to watch it! - Clgordon
Jun 2016 - $25.00
Nice shady park, although there is grass, most sites are sandy. We had a nice shady spot with a water view. RV sites have electric, water & sewer
Restrooms/showers , laundry clean and well maintained. WiFi was free but not fantastic
There is a pier on the river and we found this a great place to watch the launch at Cape Canaveral. There is also large fenced dog area.
We paid $12.50 for 2 nights with PA discount and one night full price. I would stay here again if in the area. - Liane63
May 2016 - $23.00
This is a really great Campground. It's very treed Campground. Sits right on the river. Beautiful pier for fishing. Also has a huge Dog park. We actually stayed 6 months. - DebH
Apr 2016 - $25.00
We enjoyed this peaceful, little campground so much that we added a 4th night to our stay. The campsites are packed sand and are well shaded. The roads in the campground are paved. Our site was full-service which is unusual for a municipal campground. The campground is right on the Indian River. It has a great view, and you can see the tall parts of the Kennedy Space Center across the way. There is a long fishing pier and a boat launch for canoes, kayaks and small john boats. There is a pool. The folks who work here are welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. - ShoreXplorers
Dec 2013 - $17.00
We stayed at this park for 35 days in Dec 2013. The site itself wasn't level so that was the only part that wasn't good. People were friendly, helpful, quiet. Close to shopping and beaches. The only negative was its right by a railroad track that runs about 6 times a day. We got used to it after a while, so didn't bother us too much; no whistles, so that was even nicer. Restrooms were very clean. Huge clubhouse that we used to do our internet; couldn't get it from our site. Our Direct TV satellite worked great. All-in-all we liked it here and you can't beat the price (monthly). We have a 36' RV class A. - kemosabe
May 2012 - $39.00
This is a combination 55+ Mobile Home Community and RV Park. I stayed here for 9 months at $416 per month signing a 6 mo lease. This is a nice and economical place to "winter over" in Melbourne, FL and close to most everything including some nice parks along the Indian River, shopping, restaurants, etc. The management is great, and the permanent mobile home residents/owners are very friendly and hospitable to the campers. Electricity and Cable are extra, but water and sewer is furnished. Nice club house with regular activities. I would definitely stay here again long term in Brevard County, FL - Colorado Vagabond
Jun 2016 - $36.00
This is a park where all sites are owned. Some are just slabs to park on and others may have homes with RV covers. Some owners rent out. Rate was very reasonable. Had a beautiful site overlooking one of the small lakes. There is a restaurant and café on site. Also, has a service center on site. This was very helpful as my a/c wasn't working well. Eagle Service took care of everything by sending someone to diagnose at my site, handled all the extended warranty to have the a/c replaced and helped get a "chill grill" expedited to add on to the new a/c. Couldn't have had better care anywhere and all service was right on time. - IntrepidCampers
Apr 2016 - $55.00
It is pretty in the park. It smells like sewage when you first drive in and pockets of the smell throughout the park all the time, the bath houses are not very good. The newest one is on Windsong. The Oak Cove bath house should be torn down and rebuilt. They have a cleaning crew and the cleaning crew works hard but the bathrooms are just OLD. Airboats run at night and nothing lessens the noise they make. Sounded like a helicopter landing on our RV. Not much to do there unless you like Golf A LOT. People are there year round and don't seem to like outsiders too much. Our stay was shorter than we intended. - Likeorlove
Mar 2016 - $1.00
We were traveling with Adventure Caravans on a paid tour so I am not certain about the nightly rate.
We were parked in the rally area, a large parking lot with power and water. It was disappointing. However, the rest of the park has privately owned campsites, many with shelters. Some areas of the park have older structures. Some are brand new. From what we were told people coming in are assigned lots randomly, so there is no telling what area you will be in. There is a nice dog park. - Dreaming
May 2016 - $21.00
Nice campground. Pet friendly. Have stayed there a few times now. Quite. Open, dirt and grass sites with picnic table. - Ljack1
Apr 2016 - $21.00
Loved the price, and we were expecting far less than what we received in terms of a comfortable site. It was very spacious, with a picnic table, full hook up and lighted pedestal. All sites are located conveniently near showers and laundry. Interior roads are paved and easy to maneuver. The park itself, outside the campground, has a dog park, playground, horse corral, fishing, and more amenities that we couldn't experience given our 8-day stay. The one negative thing that lowered the rating I gave for service, was that we could not receive mail. As full timers we depend on the kindness of our camp hosts to allow our mail to be forwarded there; this was a first. I would have given less stars for service due to that, but to be fair, the office staff were very kind and made a fuss over my little dog, which is always a plus! - mama3cats
Jan 2016 - $23.00
A wonderful park with 50 amp, FHU. Staff was very helpful. We reserved two months for next year.
There is a dog park, dog trials, walking trails, fishing lakes, park concerts, a holiday light show, etc.
Lot spacing is spacious with some shade. Site surface is sand and grass. - REV DON
