Close to I-95, this is a good place for an overnight stay or a couple of days. Very long pull-through sites. Heated pool and good WiFi. Some noise from Interstate not a problem with windows closed. Satellite TV okay from most spots. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Very clean facilities and friendly staff. Watch out for fire ants. Pool is well maintained but not much else to do at the park. Close to Kennedy Space Ctr and Cocoa Beach. A bit too pricey for what it is, paying for location. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

I don't know how to change the name of the park but, it is now JOY RV Park and is virtually adjacent to Sonrise Christian Park. It is a small loop, a combination of pull through and back in sites. All level and not too tight. Nice pool, clubhouse with weekend activites. We have a fully equipped 5th wheel with W/D so we are pretty much self sufficient. Nice people staying there, very few long terms, great staff. The only negative is the noise from I-95 - we were lucky to get a spot in the back so it wasn't too bad. Good location to see local area and Orlando is about 45 - 60 minutes. We enjoyed our stay. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 11 nights at this location - now called J.O.Y. RV park. The managers, are the nicest campground owners we've met so far. The pool is nice, exercise everyday, breakfast social on weekends, we were here over Christmas and there was a pot luck event on Christmas Eve. Pool, restrooms, rec room and laundry (W $1.50/D $1) are clean. Other than being a bit close to I95 and no fire rings, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located just off I-95 about 12 miles from Cocoa Beach and about 20 miles from the Kennedy Space Center. It is a nice campground with good facilities. There are paved driveways with grass site pads. Each site has a concrete patio with a picnic table. There is WiFi available for purchase at $2.95 per day. There is also a weekly and monthly rate. We purchased it and it worked well. The bathroom and showers are nice and kept very clean daily. There is a small pool but we didn't use it. We had a pull through site with full hookups and 50 amp electric. AT&T 4G signal strength was -110dBm which is a little weak but OK. We paid $45.18 per night with Good Sam discount. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

A one night stay going home from Camping World. Our site was perfect, a pull through with 50 amp and water. We were right in front of immaculately kept bathrooms, showers and laundry. (I have never seen such clean facilities!)The only thing keeping this from a "10" was that, being just west of I-95, it is very noisy. I would definitely stay here again for a couple nights while visiting the area or going to Camping World. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

OSSARIO'S cafe in downtown Cocoa was a great place for lunch as our fifth wheel was being serviced and we had our dog. The outside seating was perfect for a casual meal with our dog by our feet. The beaches in the area do not allow dogs.

My husband and I stayed here for about 3 months, end of August 2016 to the end of November. Campground was well maintained and some improvements were being made to fill any low areas as well as add pull through spaces for overflow. Our site fit our 30' rig well and allowed plenty of parking space for our vehicle. Atmosphere was pretty quiet and longer term residents were courteous and there were no tent sites. Restrooms were kept very clean as was the laundry room. It was hit or miss on a good dryer (one that could dry a load in 1 cycle) but, was manageable. You do get some road noise from I-95 which is nearby, but, after a bit you grow accustomed to it. Never had a problem with utilities. There is wifi, but it is a pay per device type of setup, so, each item you want to connect would have to have paid for service. Monthly rate at the time was $22.95 per device (there were also daily and weekly rates). We had decent response times with gaming and streaming movies/tv. It is fairly easy access to I-95 and there is a Camping World and Pilot nearby. They also sell LP onsite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

For long term, bring some grass killer and fire ant killer for your space. Also, change for the laundry room is provided in the office (no change machine available).

A gem of a CG. Management is friendly and obviously takes pride in their park. Sites are FHU/30/50, spacious, level grass with concrete patios and a picnic table. Landscaping is manicured. No fire rings. Immaculate, clean, heated pool. Restrooms are older but fixtures are modern and facilities are very clean. Laundry is $1.50 wash, $0.75 dry. Propane is available at $3.78/gal. Minor freeway noise but not bad. Permanent residents have clean sites. Easy access from I-95. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Wal-mart about 7 miles away. Camping World and a McDonalds are about 1 mile distant. Kennedy Space Center about 20 miles away. Tickets are $50/adults, $40/children. Diesel on east side of I-95 less expensive than west side.

This is a nice quiet park (with the exception of being about .5 from I-95). The rate includes free wifi which works well. Unfortunately, there is no cable TV so the rate paid seems a bit high. The sites are very wide and spacious with full grass and small (10 x 15) cement pad. As it's late March it's hard to say how full they get, but the park is now 3/4 empty as most snowbirds have likely left. Washrooms are very clean. Nice club house. We camped at J.O.Y. Campground management was helpful and friendly. Restrooms and laundry were clean and well-maintained. WiFi was fine although it had to be purchased and the purchase process was somewhat clunky. The campground doesn't get a higher review only because of two considerations: the sites are really jammed together with eccentric hookup locations; and the noise from I-95 is fairly oppressive. Still, if we were in the area again, I'd be fine with staying here. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This a pleasant enough park for short term travelers like us who want to tour the area. Staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We didn't use the fee based Wi-Fi. Traffic noise from I-95 is quite noticeable, but not bothersome to us. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

I felt like I was staying in the median strip of Interstate 95; the noise from traffic was relentless and nonstop. Small pool was dirty during our entire stay. Rate reflects a weeks stay. We were happy to leave and would not return. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was great for an overnight. It was easy access from I-95. The hookups were a little bit of a pain as the water was not set in the area you would expect. The sites were level. The pool was great and the bath houses were the best we had seen. The only "drawback" was the alcohol policy - we enjoy a cocktail when we get set up and the pool would have been great to enjoy it in. However, policy here is "no alcohol" in site. Because of this, I wouldn't stay here long term, but we survived for an overnight. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate paid is a weekly rate. This is a very nice RV park in Cocoa. Shopping and most restaurants are in Cocoa Beach about 10 miles away. Park is well managed, attractive. Laundry is excellent. 8 washers and 8 dryers: all work. $1.50 for wash & $.75 for dry. Laundry is very clean. Management very helpful. We stayed here while going to Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, Universal Orlando, and other attractions. Pool is clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back. Verizon is excellent here. Lots of toll roads in area, so be prepared with change. We camped at J.O.Y. RV Park (formerly Sonrise Village RV Resort) in a Motorhome.
