As other posters have noted, the interior roads are very tight and the whole campground seems crowded. You certainly need the assistance of the host to help navigate the roads and back into your assigned site. The landscaping between sites does a wonderful job of creating privacy, but you are sure close to your neighbor. The waterfront sites are simply sites along a narrow overgrown canal. I thought the price was a little high. Looking over the past reviews it seems the rates have been increasing. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The park was full but was quiet in spite of the holiday. Sites are level and concrete or pavers. Electric water and sewer hookups were conveniently located. Sites were separated by nice landscaping. There was enough room at our site for our 25 ft motorhome and vehicle. Dog walking was rather limited but we did not find it a problem and it looked like everyone cleaned up behind their pets. Wi-fi was spotty but great if you were close to the office. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great little ice cream shop (Taylors) across the street with lots of homemade flavors. This campground allows large dogs which was a great find for FL.

This is the most we have paid for a site but we were waiting for warranty work on our truck and found this place nearby. Nice' clean sites mostly inhabited by owners. Roads a bit tight but manageable. Easy walking to restaurants and mini mart and close to everything else by car or bike. Would stay again. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A really nice park. The location is fantastic. You are near the beach, stores, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and efficient. The sites had great landscaping which gave a lot of privacy.

The interior roads were tight, but we had a very helpful guide. It is a little pricey the only reason it is not a 10. Its Florida in the winter so you pay for what you get. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is our current benchmark resort after spending one month at a time at 6 different places in Florida, and visiting many others. The driving is tight in places, but manageable with the resort help. It is so well landscaped that feels more luxurious than compact. Well landscaped sites with night lighting make it great to walk around in the evening. The pool is heated and nice as well. All sites have pavers that make it great under the coach and under your feet. The bathrooms and laundry were nicely kept and spacious. We were there in November and this early in the season there were less activities, but we were welcomed at the Wednesday night socials. All the owners we talked to love the place. The location is great. We often walked around the village or across the bridge to see the sights or the sunset. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We made reservations on the phone but when we got there we had to go through the whole info routine due to the fact that there are two different entities that rent out the sites and neither seems to know what the other is doing. Very strange indeed. The campground is neat, clean and attractive. The streets are a bit narrow for backing in but the escort guided us in . We would have stayed longer but couldnt get a hold of the person who booked us originally so we left for another place. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Beach House just over the bridge on the island was nice. A bit pricey, but nice. Our favorite beach was just south of Cortez road on the island . It had shade, showers, and restrooms, and plenty of parking.

Absolutely beautiful resort!!! Nice lots, very private, nice brick pavers, landscaping. The pool is perfect!!! The staff was so mean and nasty it took all the nice and prettiness away. An employee was very rude and down right nasty! Locking us out of the pool stating a storm (it was sunny and no clouds on the horizon). I went to use the ladies room around the corner from the pool only to return a few min later to find my purse, cell phone, medications (I am a diabetic) other belongings locked up on the pool deck!!!! I was told I could stand outside the pool area until the storm passed and wait! Since there was no clouds or storm that I could see I demanded to retrieve my belongings. Who would leave a cell phone out in the rain anyway? She was very rude and I finally got her to unlock the PADLOCK to let me get my things!!!! She then sent a man out to confront me as to what my "problem" was!!!!! My husband and I had been told the day before we could not have water or any beverages/snacks at the pool either. I am a FL resident and I think it is odd that a resort would not allow water at a pool!!!!

Needless to say, we will not be coming back. It is a shame as it is a lovely place! But I cannot stay in the sun without hydration. And I don't like the attitude either! We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We thoroughly enjoyed this campground. The sites were all private and well maintained (level too). The wifi was good. The bathrooms were nicer than our house - with tile and granite. The laundry room had a change machine and was very clean. The dryers finished our loads with one cycle.
The pool area was nice and anyone we encountered was very friendly. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our visit. We enjoy the quaint restaurants on the water and watching the fishing boats going and returning from their fishing trips. It is a small campground but very well run and upscale. We will definitely return again many times. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A small, well appointed, but high priced park located just over the causeway from Bradenton Beach and the access to Anna Maria Island. Our rate was $998 for two weeks, plus tax. We stayed here over the Christmas holidays and the park was not completely full, although we were told that would change after January 1. Very competent escort to your site who has you in place in a jiffy. A mix of coaches, fivers and TTs. Comfortable paved sites (several available for sale by private owners, $100K plus), good services, though sites are close together. A small heated pool, laundry and fitness room with two exercise machines. Not a lot of walking/biking room in the park because it is so small, but we were able to go outside the gate and walk some of the local neighborhoods. Very few activities other than a meet and greet. Dogs must go into the grassy areas behind the sites and there are walkways to those areas in the corners of the park. Frankly, the web site photos make this park seem better than it really is. We would return, but would explore other parks in the area first. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in a 5th wheel for 2 months. High priced, over rated park. The site owners and regulars are not very 5th wheel friendly. 75% of the rigs here are high end Class A motor homes. Sites are all back in and tight. Palm trees are nice. There are no activities other then the seasonal guest and their cliques. We did not feel included. $1125 a month. Will not be back. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Wow, hard to believe we stayed in the same park as the previous reviews. We had a premium site on the river with a nice view. Cost us $2000.00 for the month of Feb., high even for in season. Sites are pavered, but tight, especially with all the palms growing over into the patio area. Landscaped? More like a jungle. Could use some work. We were told by neighbors before we left our Naples, FL campground that this is a noisy park. Figured they meant traffic noise which we don't mind. They meant the people in the park. Campground is so close together you can hear everything your neighbors say. Very annoying. Laundry is small. There are few planned activities. Pool is nice. Some sites have been bought and are overrun with planters, dog pens, patio furniture, grills, etc. and look tacky. It is close to Anna Maria Island. It's mostly the same group of snowbirds that come down year after year. We're full time RVers, & this would never be one of our favorite parks. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Free Wi-Fi. Speedtest.net says 45 ms ping, 7.24 Mbps down and 1.66 Mbps up. I have never seen this kind of speed in but one other RV park, and it is password protected. Water pressure is 50 PSI. They use a lawn service to keep the grounds manicured. The laundry has 3 almost new commercial washers and 6 almost new commercial dryers at $1.50 per cycle. The dryer got my towels dry in one cycle. Amenities include full hook-ups; back-ins sites to handle small to large motor homes, 5th wheels, and travel trailers; landscaped paved pads and drives. I think this is one of the nicest RV park I have ever stayed in. It is about a half a mile from the Anna Maria Island where the Bradenton Beach is located and parking is free. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful campground, many sites are privately owned, several are for sale in the 100k+ range. We rented for a week, it is immaculately clean, well maintained. All sites are paved. Dog walk around the perimeter, very dog friendly. Staff was polite. Less than a mile from the gulf, lots of restaurants nearby. Reservations needed well in advance for the busy season. We'll return next year. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, lovely campsites. Great place to walk or ride bikes, easy access to Gulf beaches. The only improvement they need is with their internet service. Pretty slow and it is easy to get kicked off, but it is better then some places we have been. We camped at Holiday Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.
