2 Parks near Florida City, Florida
Nov 2014 - $30.00
We stayed for an incredible price, $30 nightly. Assistant manager was very helpful and friendly. Gave us all kinds of directions to the keys and everglades. He even helped me with my computer, go figure. Bathrooms were newly tiled, even though we barely used them. - captain spoke

Campground is mostly full of permanent residents in camping units of various states of disrepair. Roads are fine. Transient area is a grassy field which is kept mowed . Utilities there are only 30 amp. Restrooms were marginally clean. Washer dryer worked well. Lots of aggressive barking dogs and feral cats. We will not stay here again. There is no nighttime security, gates are wide open, and we learned later that the park is near a very bad neighborhood. Our bikes were locked to our RV and during the night thieves cut through the bike cable locks and stole our two bikes. They also stole our neighbors bike. Park management did not warn us of this potential problem and when we reported the theft they stated that it was unusual to have 3 stolen at once. They were not surprised of the theft. - KathyAndJimB

Most horrible dirty park we were ever in. Grass was so high we could not even find the hookups. We should have left but had driven a long day and needed to get to the Keys, so we just dry camped and left early the next day. - coloradogirl42
Mar 2016 - $24.00
Weekly rate. This park is about location. Right at the entrance to the Florida Keys with access to the Keys without the price. The park is older but very pleasant. Restrooms and showers are well maintained and clean. The pool is elevated, heated and very well maintained. The clubhouse is large and much used for all types of activities. The Tiki Bar is unique and the drinks are good and reasonably priced. The sites are mostly grass but due to heavy rains this year many of them were mud, but the office had no problem with moving us to a grass site from our original muddy one. Everyone here was friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was the roads are very narrow and people parked their vehicles right on the edge of the road. I had to go around three times to get lined up on our site so I could get in. Also beware there are many mature trees with low limbs making it dangerous to get into and out of some sites with tall rigs. WiFi was very spotty and due to the trees TV reception was restricted. I would stay here again when in the area. - digger2280
Jan 2016 - $44.00
This is an old park, with narrow but passable roads. It's at the far south end of Florida. Great for going to the Everglades or the Keys. Sites are on grass. Some have concrete patios; ours didn't. WIFI is almost non-existent. When it worked, it was very slow. Park is very quiet. We had a pull-through - essential for our size with these narrow roads. Still, it was a nice place to stay and would stay here again. - DrM Traveler
Dec 2015 - $44.00
We stayed for 2 nights over New Years Eve. Park is tightly packed with narrow spots and very narrow roads, making it difficult to get in and out. Had to ask the guest across from our spot to move his truck to make it possible for me to hitch up.
The site is on grass with a small concrete patio. There are many huge tree roots under the grass, making it impossible to put the stakes for the awning straps into the ground.
The picnic table was an old wooden thing that was completely deformed of age and the high humidity.
Great location with shopping and restaurants within 5 minutes from the park. - Jensvilhelm
