The park is directly in the flight path of Ft. Lauderdale airport. Planes start about 6am and don't end until about 10am. the planes are so low it cuts out the TV signal!!! No laundry, no restrooms and what are supposed to be cute Palm Fron shaded "huts" have no roof and just the frame is sitting there. This is where you go when you have no where else to go. I should have listened to the older reviews on this place, they are clearly the only honest ones. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

I stayed at this park from May 2016 until February 2017. I am a construction worker and had a project in Port Everglades. This park deserves a 9 or a 10 due to the owner and her commitment to her guests. The park is clean and well maintained. We had absolutely no problems with the park or the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. I gave the park an 8 because of the airport primarily. It is probably unfair to down rate it just for that reason but it is a significant inconvenience. I joked about there being wheel marks on top of my trailer. Those planes come in low and loud. They generally stop by 11pm and do not typically restart until after 5am but there are times when there are flights overnight and those can be annoying. I would/will stay here again even knowing what I know. I paid the off season rate because of the time of year that I got here. Our cost did not change just because the season changed and the snowbirds started flocking in. The owner told me up front that my rate would stay consistent during my stay. She could have been greedy but she wasn't and that's honorable. The yard guys come around once every couple of weeks and her maintenance guy is in there cleaning up and looking after the place. She does not let the yard guys start at the crack of dawn which is respectful. I would absolutely stay here again. I absolutely recommend this park. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

I have been staying here for over 2 years because I have an office in Ft Lauderdale and I live in Cape Coral Fl on the west coast. I am in the park 3 to 4 nights a week and it is very peaceful, breezy and management has been very good. I would recommend the park highly We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

This site is just off I 95 - and Ravenswood Rd. Clean - friendly - boat space- able to get out easily. Easy to get to the beach - Great restaurants in the area. Within walking distance to bus service and Tri-Rail. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

The site is very well kept but the noise level from the plane, train, and highway is unbearable. Within two days of arriving I contacted the owner and asked for a reasonable refund of our $2000 deposit. She was very rude saying there was no refund of deposits, insisting that we should pay the full season amount, and telling us to leave if we were not happy with the site. There is no pool, no place to walk, no laundry, no front desk staff, no security, and people drive around at all hours. There is a charge for pets, company, cars, and for washing your car or motorhome. Therefore, I would not recommend this site. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Motorhome.

No self-respecting big rig should spend a single night here. The deal breaker is airport noise. It's extreme, as in ear-splitting extreme. Heavy commercial and business jets fly within a couple hundred feet of the ground, often at 2 minute intervals, and at all hours of the night! A truly degrading experience. The park itself has no amenities, but is clean, with paved sites and some landscaping. Just to look at it, you might score it a 5. But given the noise issue, it's a 3 at best, even for a well-insulated RV with windows closed. The land should be re-purposed for industrial use. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Motorhome.

Website says park has laundry facilities as well as security, which is completely untrue. Is right next to airport & is so loud, it is at times impossible to sleep. Park management will make you pay months in advance & after taking your money, brings you a multi-page contract to sign. Charges $10 for car, $20 for RV, which is actually illegal. Will not allow you to use the mailboxes on south end of park, nor will you be provided any paper work stating you pay rent there, so you cannot get a P.O. Box. Management will advise you that the mail is delivered to the "main", uninhabited house on the premises if you elect to receive mail there. Unfortunately, "management" leaves town for weeks at a time, to you could be literally waiting for weeks to get any mail. Power pedestals are in terrible shape. Ours was arcing @ sparks shooting out of it when we first arrived. When we contacted management, they were apparently intoxicated & on vacation. Luckily, our neighbor was an electrician & got us safely squared away. Charges for an "extra" vehicle- any vehicle that is not actually used to tow the RV. You set up an account with FPL for electricity. We left about a month ago & FPL accidentally sent our deposit ($300.00) to the abandoned house on premises is, since it's the only structure at that address. Management has neglected to contact us about it, though they had no problem calling at 9:00pm, asking me to go look for a credit card that was supposed to have been delivered to said house. It is nothing more than an overpriced parking spot. Grass is cut there at the most every 6 weeks, so it's always shabby looking. Tiki huts in front of the parking spots are all in disrepair. Pic Nic tables too I sturdy to sit at & are unsafe. Pool filled in with dirt years ago, & former laundry facility gutted & left empty. The pictures of the park bear no resemblance to what it looks like at the present time. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this facility for many years. The owner is charming and delightful. She doesn't tolerate any nuisance RV'ers, and is available to answer questions and solve problems. Although it is a basic facility, it is along the marina and provides lovely breezes 24/7. There is additional parking for trailers and additional vehicles. Many folks come back year after year because they know they are charged a reasonable fee for the area, and have access to the interstate and main thoroughfares in the Fort Lauderdale area. There are lovely restaurants and grocery shopping within 2 miles, as well as proximity to the airport for visitors. This RV park was not meant for children who need lots of play activities and equipment; however it fits nicely for those who are retired and want a safe place to serve as home base while in the Fort Lauderdale area. For the sportsman, Bass Pro is within a mile, and provides equipment for fishing from the marina there at the park. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Motorhome.

We camped here for 3 months, given a monthly rate of $1,130 but we were not not told that all 3 months would be required up front CASH (no refund). Also, we were required to pay an extra $100 deposit in CASH for any electric over $100 month with no statement to prove use. Owner is rude and abrasive and usually never on sit. There is NO staff, NO laundry, no facilities at all. Small dumpster that is never dumped and always overflowing, and lawn was only mowed 2 times in 3 months. There are some hookups at the marina which could be considered waterfront, but there is no sewer so grey-water discharge on grass is allowed. There is a extra cash fee for everything, including to park extra vehicles, dolly, trailers or anything that won't fit on site. Not much fits on the site. The place was empty when we got here in January when all other parks were full. The park is at the end of the airport runway and the interstate and train are very close as is a fire station. The noise could be unbearable if your rig isn't well insulated. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Although not a lot of facilities, it is a very spacious park with marina access. Sites are large and well maintained. Tri-Rail and interstates are close to the facility. Just a half mile from Bass Pro Shop. Good drainage for Florida's downpours. Small, but very comfortable park for those who don't need a lot of entertainment on site. Good location for wanting to be close to Fort Lauderdale. Not too far off interstate 95, so that was convenient. Unfortunately, it is also directly under the flight path of the small planes that land at the Fort Lauderdale airport. When they are landing they are only 100-200' off the ground and are VERY loud. Mostly big rigs and 5th wheels. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Motorhome.

I am only reviewing the campground just to clarify the information previously posted. We had spent some considerable time searching for a campground in the area to stay for about one month and because of the previous review, we did look at this one. It is certainly very nice and small. It is mostly for people who are camping with a boat. It does NOT have any public restrooms or showers for the RV area. No cable, no Wi-Fi. For us it was definitely overpriced for what they did offer. This is not a campground for those who want some typical RV facilities. It is a nice area for a large, self contained motorhome that has no need for any facilities. We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

I have stayed at several parks in south Florida, but recently came across Northcoast on the suggestion of a friend from Toronto who raved about both the park and it's owners. I was pleasantly surprised at the interest and thoughtfulness of Angela and Dallas the owner/operators from the moment we arrived up until our departure two weeks later. The grounds were well manicured, the other guests were very friendly and the attached marina was beautiful to walk around first thing in the morning. Our lot was spacious and had it's own private tiki hut which was a quaint spot to have coffee and eat lunch. The location was very convenient to the beach and a short cab ride to downtown Fort Lauderdale. I wished I had known about this park earlier, but will definitely be returning here next time we visit! We camped at Northcoast Park and Marina in a Motorhome.
